YESSSSSSS ! GOT SOC EVA 02 TODAY ! Best haul ive had in a long time i must say. I am soo impressed with this figure. The packaging was simpily brilliant, the figure is beatiful :D articulation all over baby ! stands with ease , unlike a lot of figs out there, and man this is one heavy eva ! seems to be almost all diecast, no wonder they are expensive ! I gotta say, if ur anywhere near interested in eva, you should pick one up , casue its prob the best fig i own now :D wish i had the dig cam handy, but im going to try to get pics of all my bday haul when it all comes in, so dont worry, lol

rand007, man those pics rock ! and i have a question for u about eva 02, in the shoulder pad that stores the progressive knife , can you close the pad together while the progressive knife is inside ? or does it only sit in it while the pad is open ? i couldnt tell from the photosin the instructions, and i cant read kanji lol, and didnt want to break the shdler pad trying . :)

glad you now got ur unit 02 Lain. yea it is pretty slow in here but u never know Sora might get back on and start stuff. -.-'' just like she does all the time. it stormed pretty bad here so i didnt go anywhere except the only thing i was able to go and get was a battle alien to complete my AVP set.

well i would have had it but the thing is my city has NO avp figs...like NONE of the comic stores or retails stores got them in for the past 3 weeks...like i said the only day the got them in was the very 1st day rite...so i'm really hoping and praying that they at least get sumthing in this wednesday...ive had money saved for a while to get these avp stuff but so far i was only able to get scar....i can get the aliens if i want, the store closest to my place still has grid and battle aliens but no preds any where in the city

thats where i pre-ordered those figures from toywiz. i havnt continued cuz im the true winner. prime, wing and zero custom would destroy ur pred in a few seconds, thus leaving my pred to kill ur plush. and in case someone tried to mess with prime or the gundams then my TF and gundam army would handle them.

ZOE... I never beat the 1st one, got stuck and some part and couldn't figure out where/what to do next... never played the 2nd.

Kaiyodo is the brand you want for Eva stuff. ;)

Version KA refers to Katoki Hajime. He is well known by Gundam fans. He currently has his own line of Gundam figures called Gundam Fix. Basically his take on Gundam designs.

Also Kaiyodo has a resin kit of Jehuty from ZOE 2. It is very nice but also expensive.

boy did i have a haul today ! first stop at my local flea market, found moc lotr faramir , and easterling for 8 bucks a piece, for all you non lotr collectors, these are some of the hardest figs to get out there, and i have seen them go for 50 or more before :D next stop - sam goodys , remember when i was whining and complaining bout no avp in my area for awhile cause there usually slow ? well i was surprised today lol they had just stocked avp figures, and they had a mass quanity of them too . me and my bro picked up the whole set, and i got an extra celtic ;) i was gonna stick with just the 3 preds, but my bro wanted them, so instead i finished by getting the aliens, and an extra celtic, since he is my fav of them gonna keep him moc, and open the rest :D 2 great hauls back to back

im glad to see a zoe resin kit ! i have played both zoe 1 and 2 , 2 is the best, and i had been wondering for some time if figs existed , thanks for the info temjim !

I gotta say, when you guys find the new Inu Yasha figures you should definitely pick them up. I recommend getting the open mouth variant of Inu Yasha. Looks way cooler than the closed mouth one. Kagome is great too. Looks just like the Anime. I had to buy doubles of both. I got mine from Suncoast, always a great place to get cool Anime stuff.

Sesshomaru looks great. I really want the SDCC exclusive human form Inu Yasha figure so I can have all the varients of that figure. I already have opened & closed mouth Inu Yashas, all I need now is human form. I think when Kikyo & Sesshomaru come out, I'm buying doubles of them too. I just love these figures a lot for some reason. I wish series 3 would have human form Naraku & Maruko with a Shippo accessory. That would rock. Then series 4 can have a deluxe boxset of Sango & Kylala (sp?).

I plan on getting the whole set including a double of BATMAN.
After that if I can find the brown costume Cable & a Deadpool from Marvel Legends, I don t expect any new figures coming out for a while. Haha, I always say that & as soon as I do I drop a lot of money on figures I didn t even know existed. I think I want a digital cam tho so I can snap some pics of my monster collection. Ifs funny tho cause I only have about 30 figures out in my room ( half are mini figures ) most of my collection is in my closet. All in about 8 huge plastic bins, all resting in double bagged zip lock bags, haha. Forget about clothes, no room for that in my closet. Too full with loose figures, MIB figures & about a 800 BATMAN comics, sheesh is there really too much of a good thing????

That would def be a great series 3 mr mark :D would you go as far to say that the inuyasha figs are produced as well as kaiyodo figs are ? they seem fine to me from the online pics , but kaiyodo is still my #1 fav . ;)

I don't know if I can actually compare Kiayodo & Toynami. Althought I have the Trigun figures & now the Inu Yasha figures, it;s still difficult to compare the 2 figure companies. Inu Yasha's figures have a style of their own. There's hardly any articulation of the figures but can you really have any considering Inu Yasha's clothing? You could but then Toynami would have sacrificied the great sculpts. So what I'm trying to say is, that you really can't compare Toynami's Inu Yasha line with Kiayodo's Trigun (only saying Trigun because those are the only Kiayodos I own).
Each series of figures just feels right for the characters they chose to represent in figure form.

Lain, the progressive knife should close up in the fin. The sheath inside the fin moves back and forth so if you put the knife in and push it back the cover should close. If it doesn't try flipping the knife the other way. Glad you like the SOC Eva. I agree, they are worth every penny. If you like action figures you should own at least one of these, you won't regret it. I think they just re-released 01.

as for haulage...i got a called today frum a comic store they got in one box...but they were over charging...39.99 cdn per avp fig cuz theyre so high in demand....40 cdn woyuld b 31 usd...so i was like ya rite...called around...no avail....then i called one last spot...and they were like "avp?...ya we got avp" and i was like do u have the preds? and hes like "yup we have everything" and i asked when they got sipments cuz i was jus at the store the other day and all they had were aliens...and hes like "oh we jus got shipments an hour ago" so i ran there grabbed 2 celtics >= )

Well i got my EVA grimrock set today and it is perfect! i love this set so much. oh chubs i called the shop back to find out prices for the Inu-yasha figures. $13.99 for closed mouth Inu and Kagome, $16.99 for opened mouth Inu. $13.99 isnt that bad and ill try to pick them up this weekend. i would like to get them for $9.99 or $10.99 but thats only at suncoast and places like that. sadly we no longer have sam goody or suncoast around here except if i wanna take an hour long drive. but no way im paying $16.99 for and open mouthed inu. that will only happen if its the last Inu-yasha in stock.

i pre-ordered the EVa set like 2 months ago. and it says right here production & manufactured by KAIYODO. its a great set and i recommend it to any anime fan. so then you are thinking of getting the Inu-Yasha figures Chubs. yea the set online is a lot cheaper cuz ive seen them between $19.99 to $24.99 and thats for the set. the whole open mouth closed mouth doesnt really matter to me just as long as i get one.

they look like that cuz thats how "grimrock" made them look. i could be all wrong but from what i figured out from the box was that this was a garage kit. i did indeed see the FF7 trading figures -- i think it was an FYE... trying to remember if i saw them in other stores... if i think of any, i'll let you know... dont think they are at that FYE anymore....

haha lain...i've only got 15 eps left till ive finished kenshin...and most of the characters annoy the hell outta me i mean the mood get serious then sumone hits kenshin and they make those exagerated faces...makes me so mad...but at least the story is good...well up till after the shishio saga...and the inuyasha figs...i didnt get ne today cuz my mom went out for teh whole day with my car so i was stuck home and the stores were closed...but i'm gonna pick up the open mouth one seeing as its rare...but i honestly think the closed mouth looks WAY better...and kagome...i dunno....its a long shot cuz i still gotta get that crazy mofo grid alien...but sesshomaru is a for sure once hes released...and i think i mite pick up kikyo too cuz i liked her and inuyashas relationship and i like her character too
