chubs always gets confused and calls ladies dude , lol jk chubs ;) i was wanting the d fig too, but now it has been pushed wayyyy down my list , and i scored a whole set of the avp refresh figs today, the only one i had was pred the hunter, and i was wanting the original pred and the 2 aliens from the set neway, so i found the whole set on ebay for like 31 usd and got them all :) now its time for avp series 2 bring it on !

ya instore would b better...cuz u get him rite there...and online people tend to bid alot for them...but u wont find them at TRU or walmart or nething cuz people snatch them up real quick...so ur best bet would b a comic shop...though i did find juggernaut and cable at a retail store for bout 12 bucks canadian which is really good...but no more cash...cuz i jus bought deadpool, wolverine, and sdcc inuyasha...so thats 80 bucks gone haha

haha ya like 3 bucks of the shipping charge they charge u goes in their pocket...but watever...i seldom buy offa ebay...all ive bought off ebay is the macross plus thing, bloody wolfwood, all 3 ff x2 figs...and then the sdcc inuyasha on the way...ya i get lucky once in a while...like with the t3 line i was able to buy the figures i wanted for retail...i jus sold them recently so i dont have them nemore...but the arnolds in that line r the best sculpts mcfarlanes ever dun....but with dead pool hes only one per case rite...and wen they put out the case its gone cuz of scalpers...which is y i was pretty happy...cuz i think they got ML6 shipments like last week...and sumhow the deadpool was still there

are u kiddingchubs the figs are great out of the box. so many poses to put them in no poor quality on them at all. i wasnt planning on getting doubles after i opened my first set, but since tha one gamestop had one set left and marked down to only $3 each i just couldnt pass them up. yea i looked up listings here and found the theater that will be playing it. so ill go check it out this weeked. saw the trailer on tv today and it looks good.

yeah thats the one i saw it was on some channel my uncle has. then i saw a 1 min trailer on Cartoon Network or maybe it was Fox. anyway yea im going to ty and check it out this weekend if no il wait till dvd. the figures are very sweet i couldnt beleive they were $3 each but the guys there said they had to mark down all the toys cuz that gamestop was no longer going to sell them. they even had the monsters series already marked dwn to $6 but i didnt feel like buying. im hoping to find the Crow boxset this weekend too.

ya the crow boxed sets very nice and well done...if i purchased american figs (dont mind the deadpool) then i would pick it up...neca is really really making a name for themselves...same with mezco...cept for sum bad decisions...like the scarface figs...but ya...if mcf keeps up with all this...not to mention all the poor quality their gonna lose all theyre customers

lain...the prequel in english is called "Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal"....thats for the movie version where the director cut all 4 parts into 1 movie...and the other dvd r the normal versions...with 2 episodes of the ova per dvd...called "Samurai X: Trust" and "Samurai X: Betrayal"...and yes the kenshin looks good MOC but hes not holding his sword...but its still good...

MGS...ya gungrave is an awesome anime...cept most people judge it by the 1st episode and dont watch nething after the 1st episode thinking it sucks...the 1st eps was decent...but once they get going...it gets really good

there the same monev, the first pic just came out a little darker.....its not different casue the only diff versions are the phantom, and sub zero versions ;)....chubs so ur getting some more shelves too ? i reccomend the bookcase type with open sides, casue an actual bookcase is a little too dark unless a good light source in directly in front of it , casue im usuing a bookcase now and its a lil dark in spots, lol hey did you guys ever see the juggernaut ml fig ? it looks sweet to me cause i like really big figs like monev, and such and juggnaut looks cool hear he was real heavy too

As soon as I score some extra cash after I buy the Grave fig, I'll buy the 3 disc collection and check this stuff out. :)


BTW, Just to vent, I would have hoped that Grave would have continued to wear the cool coat with coat tails in OD, but they gave him more of a wolfwood look. And, OD got a higher score than the first, I liked the first, and I'll definitely like the second, OD.

The first was great becuase of the challenge of collecting everything, like the action-figs. :)
I never did get Grave's, mainly becuase I got rid of my PS2 games and console right when I was getting real good at the game.

Without spoiling the anime for me, can you tell me if the story is fairly close to the game's?
I loved the ending to Gungrave... up in the "heavens" way up...

oh i had no intentions of spoiling it for u haha cuz u gotta c this for urself...and the story its exactly like the games story...cept with the game theres ALOT of unanswered stuff...and the ending is diff in the anime...this ending is a very emotional one...and like i said up there its more a character and story driven show rather than pointless action...but everything u remembered frum the game is there...that fateful moment in the elevator between harry and brandon....the fights with all the bad guys in the game...most of it...cept BETTER haha

Good. One of the main reasons I prefer Anime to the american cartoons is becuase Anime has emotion, there is meaning in the series... whereas most, MOST american cartoons are just entertainment.

ya of coarse i'm waiting for SW 3...um u kno wat? i'm not entirely sure...but may sumthing...i kno its in the teens so maybe 16th or 19th?...u buy anything today?....i went on a for fun hunt not intending to buy nething unless i saw votc darth vader at retail...i went to one collectable stores that carry all the american merchandise a la mcfarlane, mezco...u get the picture...and i was looking at there ML all they had were brown wolverines and gambit i think...i was hoping maybe a cheaper deadpool...cuz i want this guy outta the box haha...so i was looking around behind the counter and i c him...WITH A 60 DOLLAR price tag on him...thats bout 47 dollars us...so i was like DAMN!...haha now u kno y i was pretty happy with the price i paid for my deadpool...but aside frum that....nothing..saw sum 12 inch crow figs but i dont collect american figs nemore...well after avp 2 then thats wen i'm finished....unless theres gonna b avp 3 haha...

yeah, the sw figs are all at retail price here, seems they cant give them away here, lol and im pretty sure ive seen han solo, vader, maybe i didnt pay much attention, lol but they have them everywhere, wm , samgoody, kmart, etc lol as far as deadpool, ill put it this way, im still looking for myself a deadpool fig ;) but im in no hurry

yeah if i see dpool at a local store, then yeah ill def pick him up for myself, and yeah the votc and other sw figs are overstocked here, i cam across a plethora of slave leia unleashed figs when they were first released, and i see them almost every time i go out , lol but im pretty sure i can pick up the dv votc fig, i guess theyre easier to get here cause an american comp produces them

ya i think thats y....but another thing is cuz there were alot of star wars peg warmers b4...but now they r starting to get sum kinda shipments again...but as for VOTC i have yet to c them at all in retail stores...maybe seeing as its canada people think they wont c it again so they buy it all up and i heard in the states the TRUs really stock these up well so people wont have any problems finding them

yeah, either wm or sam goodys, or kmart. wm will be the cheapest, kmart a little more, and not sure aobut sg, but they always seem to charge a lil over retail, im actually not sure how much theyr charging for the votc figs cause i didnt pay them much attention, but i will check on that for you ;)

Valkyriestorm Mr. Mark is another board member who comes to mostly this thread. ive been talking to him on aim and he is a cool guy. You can get the Demon Inuyasha figure in the manga Demon boxset that comes with vol. 19 and the figure at Waldenbook stores. glad u like D but open him if u really want to. mine is open and im glad i opened it.

yes he comes with both swords like the nomral figure did. and yes the book is the small black and white. the price kinda makes sense since most manga cost $10 then add in $15 for the figure.

suprising finds today but no haul...i went to a department store that usually has crap figs cuz no one buys there so they dont get new shipments...so i go to look around and wat do i find ...2 deadpools for retail price!....i woulda bought one...but i promised myself no more doubles cuz i dont want my room over filling with figures and i'm trying to cut back...then evntually stop buying...but that wont stop me frum posting here haha...and i got priorities....like the SW trilogy to buy then i gotta get the 2 stealth celtics...then kagome then battle alien....woulda really liked to have a deadpool out to display though
