I called Entertainment Earth yesterday and ask when they were getting the series 2 Inuyasha figs and they said they did not know but it will be next month. But I hate how they push this stuff forward

dino, those yu yu hak figs have been out for a while now, I picked up the first one in the pic there, the one wearing the yellow shirt (forgot his name, lol ) the only place i have seen them however is kmart.

Oh and his name is Yusuke. :)lol thats it, I watched some of the yu yu anime, not a favorite of mine, but i saw the figure while browsing one day , and it was only like $7-$8 so i got it to help liven my anime fig collection a bit, it came with a cool base, and a little penguin/rabbit looking creature, forgot its name . seems like its pu pu, or something like that :p the figure is pretty nice tho, good articulation, and a pretty decent sculpt .

i have seen the yu yu figs that your talking about avp, they were very similar to the series that dino posted, seems like yusuke was wearing a green shirt tho, but i didnt get any. And the only dbz fig i have is my favorite character in the series piccolo . :)

I have the Kenshin and Tomoe PVC figures like the one above, I feel bad for not getting the two shinsengumi members now they are harder to find. It would be nice if they made new PVC figs of the last OVA with a new blue/green shirt Kenshin and older Kaoru.

lain...tripod and angelfire both wont let u use bandiwth unless its for their site...so those r no good...unless ur internet provider supplyed u with bandwith...which most cable internet providers give u with the package

Yeah back when I was younger I used to read all of them.

And the AVP novel was great, just think about how cool it would be to see 5 Preds getting owned by Aliens instead of just 3 like in the movie. The Grid Alien was way cooler in the book too, not that he wasent in the film (he took out two Preds by himself)!:cool:

So i was browsing HLJ, and saw that a set of gashapon from the anime Mai-Hime are due sometime this month. What is Mai-Hime you say? Good question. It's actually a brand new anime that's first episdoe JUST aired in Japan last weekend. The episode has since been subbed and is available for download. I downloaded, and watched it, and enjoyed it. I really like the character designs. not sure what its about really yet, but they say its a typical highschool girl story, but with some really good action scenes. So at least we know it should be something different from anything we've seen.

They had no pic, (much like them not having a pic of the new set of Naruto gashapon coming soon, which I have been dying for a look at), but seeing how i love the character designs, I went searching, thinking maybe another site would have them. And as luck would have it, it DID point me to a new site. While they didnt have a pic of the actual figs, they did have concept art for the figs.

Now, I only know the top 3 characters, as we werent introduced to the others yet in the show. So time will only tell if I care about the others, or heck, even these 3, or the show all together for that matter. But the show looks has, and I like the characters designs, so it's going to be tempting.

SC is really good but i think crackattack kid bought the fansub dvds that hong kong bootlegs haha...but theyre still done very well...but the show is on hold rite now as theyre transfering the show to another station...then they'll start airing the last 9 eps of the series...cant wait....i cant wait for the 3rd story image figure kenshin series...cuz we're finally getting a shinsengumi saito, another battousai kenshin...which i have no complaints about...an enishi, grown up yahiko, and the other one which everyone 1st thought was kenshin but its actually a fig of kenshin and kaorus son kenji...they all come out march so i cant wait

sweet! they look great. Episode 1 and 2 are good, hopefully we'll be introduced to more characters soon, and I'll like the show enough to get that set! :)

Also, I was let down by series 4 as well. Even the proto's looked a little off but OK, but when they finally came out, some of the live pics i saw of them on eBay looked absolutely horrid. So I still havent tried to get a set. Think I may get them eventually to be complete, but the only one i really want from the set is Naruto. But so far, series 5 looks to be great. Hopefully we'll get some painted pics soon.

I have this set, and like it a lot. The sculpts are great and they all look dead-on. Perfect representations of the characters. As far as I know, it's the only gashapon set theyve made. No regular size figures, but i think there are one or two PVC statues/figs of Aoi, in (or halfway out) of her kimono...

episode 7 is incredible hey?...hes such a crazy "sweeper"...how r the dubs? bad? good?...and jus so u kno vegeta...u wont b seeing the gungrave with the big holsters and hat for a while...cuz theyre gonna take us frum brandon and harrys humble beginning all the way till the events of the 1st episode...then onward...but i love the anime due to harry and brandons past...BEST character developement in any series ive ever seen

So did anyone else catch the final episode of Wolf's Rain? I did. I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of the series when it first started airing on Adult Swim. It took a while for the basic story to set in & for me to understand what direction the show was heading toward. Now, it is easily one of my favorite all-time Anime. Such a unusual story with awesome characters. The finale was so great. The last few shows before the end were some of the most emotional episodes I've watched in any Anime. I don't want to talk too much about it just in case you guys haven't seen it. I do have a question about the end though.

It was great seeing all the wolves reunited again in the finale scene but now what? Look for Paradise again? If so, will they fail again because of Lord Darcia wolf's eye poisoning the newly re made Earth? Will they be successful this time or are they always cursed to fail their search for Paradise?







Like I said before, easily one of my top 5 fave Anime. Any figures in the works? Anyone know. This will definitely be an Anime series worth buying of DVD.

Read or Die was great. Make sure you've seen the 3 ep OVA first. The TV show starts off almost completely different, onlly making a one name reference to the OVA, btu about halfway through, they link the OVA and the TV show together absolutely beautifully.

I am a big fan. I have the OVA on DVD and watch it every now and then. I liked the TV show a lot, but at 24/26 eps, I cant afford to buy those DVDs just yet...

You know, Lain, I remember reading somewhere that many fans of Wolf's Rain in Japan were also left lost after the series wrapped up. So I heard the writers & animators went back & add 4 new shows to wrap things up in a neater package. I wish I remembered where I read this info tho. I don't much care, I liked the ending the way it is. It's up to you to decide.

Also, I recommend getting the soundtrack to Wolf's Rain. It's so great, same guy who did Bebop, Yoko Kanno. My fave track is Hot Dog Wolf, great mix of guitar & violin. ;)

chubs so far for the dubbing ive figured out only 3 voices. Harry is done by Lupin, Walken is Jet and Lee is done by Spike. i know ive heard Bunji's and Heat's voices b4 but i cant put my fingure on it. man this is a really good anime. i can only hope for a Brandon Heat figure.

vegeta...ya the music is...i dunno its not jazzy or nehting its got its own feel...but its kinda typical BG music...but it works very well to convey the atmosphere of the show...like sum songs cuz show the innnocence of harry and brandon while others can show how close they r as friends...n enemies...its very good...and vegeta...this ending is totally diff frum the games ending...n the 2nd soundtrack is awesome...and did i say the ending theme is one of my favorite if not my most favorite anime songs...i jus totally love it...how it shows harry and brandon running together

Spent yesterday in the hospital and had surgery today. The surgery was to have my gall bladder removed but it was scheduled. The stay yesterday wasn't. vegeta...champloo is awesome as well...but its more episodic then a continuing storyline...like bebop...where the episodes dont really connect...but its very very good...i'm waiting for more eps rite now cuz its being transfered frum one network in japan to another so it wont b back on till bout mid novemeber...and ya having to wait really sucks...glad i bought bebeop wen it was all out already...jus i had to wait every 2 weeks to get paid...so i usally bought as much bebop as i could with the budget i had haha

That my point >_> i'm saying his char design fine but what they made of him in the game was what killed him in the end :P if u saw this guy in a anime in that armor and kicking butt i'm sure everyone would saw him differently.....but oh well guess they drop the ball with him :P

We've seen Chii before, and she looks pretty good. I didnt get far enough in the anime to give two ****s about Yuzuki or know her importance in the story at all. So I'll more than likely pass on her with no problems.

I mean I hate not being able to be snake for most of the game (btw tha spec ed mgs2 for xbox allows u to play as snake during raidens part), but i thought raiden was a fresh way of playing mgs , and i liked the way it seperated the game between snakes, and raidens part almost like 2 seperate games. but yeah it did get a lil whiney with him and his gf, but that somersault move he had rocked ! and when uget the katana that was too sweet , lol .

i came home with sumthing pretty good...its not an action figure haul...but a damn good one non the less...i picked up the last samurai on dvd for only 12 USD at futureshop...they had this sale...lotsa new movies on sale for only 12 USD (15 CDN) so i scored last samurai cuz i watched it again this week...and god damn is that movie ever so good...one of my faves now

yeah the ls is one of my fav movies, i got it on dvd when it first came out. and i think it didnt get the attention it deserved, cause im my area there was only 1 theatre that even played it, and it wasnt long either, and i dont think it won any awards either. and some of those stupid movies get awards, but ls didnt even get a second look :(

it played for a while in the cities...cuz u live out in the open rite? so thats y...um...the movie i dont think won many awards but it was nominated alot...which shows it was a very well done film...but ya i rented it all the while back...n i taped it...then i watched it this week...yesterday actually and i loved it...esspecially that one scene with katsumoto and his son b4 he died...i thought it was so good...and i jus remembered futureshop had this special deal this week for a bucnh of new movies for only 15 CDN...which is dirt cheap for a fairly new dvd...i mean flea market doesnt have it for that cheap...so i picked it up...and the soundtrack is incredible

Man I haven't posted in a while. I've added a few new anime figs to my collection and I have some coming soon. I recently got the Fist of the North Star Kenshiro 200X fig and Angry version Inuysha(sp?). I have the FFX-2 girls on the way, getting that bome fig this weekend, the Vash and Wolfwood next week, and I have Monev the Gail on order too. I'll be setting up some of these figs and taking pics this weekend or next, are there any pic in particular you guys would like me to take?
