ah we drive the same cars everyone else drives i suppose. tho theyre are a lot more trucks than elsewhere. 4wd is sometimes needed for bad weather conditions in some places here. and wow thanks for the comp pic chubs, if the ryu on the far left is the one im getting, then thats not bad at all :D

So, what's everyone looking to get this weekend besides Halloween candy? For me, I'll be looking for the TRU exclusive Silver Darth Vader in a few hours when they open. Then after lunch it'll be off to Suncoast to see what they got in new today. Also have to pick up the wife's new InuYasha DVD we preordered. Tonight we'll go out to eat and then to the movies for Saw the Movie. Tomorrow night it's off to the Halloween Block Party downtown. The weather is still nice here so that means lots of hotties in body paint:D . And I'll be sure to take my digicam for pics of course, lol.

ya i went out today...decied to take a look around at comic shops that i didnt put my number down to call me wen the SF stuff came in...i headed down to TRU..went in...and they had spawn 26..? or was it 27...i dunno wat series theyre on...but ya i was pretty closed to picking up either the gun spawn or the cy gor spawn boxed set...jus becuz they looked good...BUT i wont by nehting from mcfarlane nemore cept for exclusives...but i was pretty close but then i was like would u rather spend money on this? or SF? so i put them down...i was also gonna pick up san andreas too but i passed...wont by it till next month...glad u got the prime lain...was it the takara MP one? or the 20th anniversary hasbro prime?

chubs its not really confusing cuz u get the hang of it pretty fast. its just theres so much u gotta do. ive maxed out my stamina and worked out all i could. then theres all the territoryu gotta get then protect it at any given time, plus u gotta take care of ur girlfriend and then do all the missions and eat. but the map on here is huge so i wont be done for some time.

from the newer stuff chubs i have Spawn 8. Came back from Hot Topic with Ryu, Chun-li and Bison. Man these are sweet figures and so far ive opened Ryu. ill open the others later, but like i said Ryu was the first i opened and now he is fighting Batman. Think ill have Bison take care of Wolverine while Chun-li gets spider-man.

Happy Halloween my fellow anime freaks.

Man, almost time to go back to work, lol. But I did have a good haul yesterday: MGS Series 1 with all 3 clear variants and the Spawn Nitro Riders set for $70 dlvd. I'll be heading to TRU at 10 am to pick up the silver Vader that goes on sale Sunday.

And thanks CAK for the link to that resin kit. Their prices are a little high. Now that I know the name of the kit, I can search around for a better price....hopefully, lol. If not, it's something I can pass on.

There were also two freaky guys who had a stage setup downtown. For $1 you could staple your $1 bill anywhere between the neck and waistline of either guy, lol. However, one guy cheated and stapled a dollar to the guy's forehead and another dollar to his shin. And these two guys were raking in the money. Each time we'd pass by, they had at least $20-25 stapled to them, lol.

keh....boring halloween...its too cold to go trick or treating....n i'm too old haha...went on a for fun hunt today...found the edmonton oilers wayne gretzky figure...u guys even kno who wayne gretzky is? haha but ya i ran into the figure...but the damn store was asking 25 bucks (20 USD) for it! so i had to pass up...but i really want it...i grew watching him play...i mean the guy won our team 4 stanley cups!!!...well that was pretty much my day...back to class tomorrow...at least there were sum decent halloween movies on!

Yup, got one off of ebay for about 56 shipped, which is good because I can only find one locally for about 75 and with tax it'll be like 80 bucks....hell, I might even get a second one online if I can spare the cash...

Also, you guys notice how the McF boxed set kaneda and bike is all wrong? I mean, the bike's shape is definitely not accurate....the shape of the body and the seat is wrong, and I'm surprised why they decided to go from their original proto pics to that one...the bike has a distinct 'M' shape....

I had one of the sweetest hauls ive had in a while today, my figure lot came in, and i didnt realize how cool some of these figures were ! the resaurus ryu is sweet ! as are the two mgs ninjas . chubs, you wanted to know about the clear ninja, and i have to report that it is a really nice figure. the clear version of the ninja really suits him well since he used it a lot in the game, and the articulation is decent for a mcf fig but nothing epic like ml, lol . but if i was gonna get the mgs ninja, i would definitely get the painted version cause its just so much better looking with paint. it seems the seller also undercharger for shipping too. on the box its priced at $14.05 cause its a small tv box, so how bout that ? how many times do u get UNDERcharged on shipping on ebay ? so im happy today :)

finding figures here has its ups and downs. it depends on what your looking for and when . probably around thanksgiving until janurary it will be impossible to find anything new cause as soon as it hits shelves, its sold. and there are scalpers at some stores often. sometimes it just if ur at the right place at the right time.

haha scalpers exist here too lain! haha ive been reading horror stories bout my city and the new mcfarlane gretzky figures!...people waiting outside the door for the store to open...poeple pushing people down to get to the figs 1st...and people tearing into the boxes b4 the employees r able to open the case!...so i dont even kno if iwill b able to find one...but wen i got a spare i usally go over to zellers (its like target) and c if they have gotten any of the nhl legends figs in...but lucky with the SF figs they arent mass marketed so they wont b scalped

yeah i think its the original manga spawn, cause ive seen the repaint 2 pck, and this one doesnt look the same. and im still debating about opening the ninjas, i was gonna cause theyres a place where a price sticker was pulled off, and the residue left. but i have removed stuff like that before with a lil effort. i got the gundam deathscythe custom, and its nice as well. then theres jango, which my bro had already, and a hulk movie figure in package thats ok . and a bunch of misc. super hero figs that arent so great. but man, i need some organizing done in my room. its a mess, and my collection is strawn about. i need to figure a better way to display my figures.

sweet chubs, the third age lets you play as different characters that follow the in the wake of the fellowship throughout the 3 movies. and sometimes u get the chance to fight beside them. and of course they have stories of their own. and it plays like ffX so its a traditional rpg. really nice thing tho is its 2 player , so me and my cuz play it, and its a big help to have someone else there. the cheapest price ive seen on the sf figs is $60 shipped for the whole series 1 set, and i thought it was pretty good $10 a fig plus $10 to ship sounds decent huh ? im tempted but i dunno , lol

i got mine for 15 USD each...so i dunno bout ur prices...maybe shop around 1st...call sum local comic shops...or check the online stores...but watever jus buy them...these r great...sagat looks insane...i jus took grey ryu out...i kno hes the rarer one...but i like the white one alot mroe so i kept him in...but ya third age would b like enter the matrix to the matrix universe rite? takes place during the fi;m but elsewhre as other characters rite?

exaclty rite about the third age chubs ! i really like it too , cause its something new , and the graphics are amazing ! u actually have a player controlled camera that u can rotate/zoom 360 degrees, and take in all the sites. i play as the elf idrial, and a ranger, my cuz is the gondorion and a dwarf. and yea if i get the sf figs, it will most likely be online . cause no comic shops here, and the only store i can imagine getting them is sam goodys, and nobody has found them there yet.

chubs lotr : tta is defintiely worth at least a rental if u like lotr ne at all u need to check it out ;) after a duscussion with vegeta, i decided to go ahead and order a set of the sota sf figs i saw on ebay that i was talkin about. it includes all 5 for 60 shipped , and i was averging what they go for retail so it came to like 10 per fig and 10 to ship which would be about rite. i saw the same auction last nite, and they had like 5 set available and now they only have 1 available so i got it before i regretted it. i need to open a comic shop here, cause theyre isnt one ! problem is , it seems only retail chains last long here, all the little shops never last long :(

yeah, i think i definitely gotta - i have Naruto and Kakashi on my shelf and they just look incomplete with out Sasuke! and i think a i found a god price too. A bunch popped up on eBay which come to about 30 bucks after shipping. I havent found a site yet that could beat that. :D

yup i got everything at gamestop today and yesterday. the comic shops here havnt gotten MM7 yet but they did get SF but i could wait thats why i hit hottopic. Chubs Robo is done great off all the MM figs i own robo is by far the best looking one IMO. i wasnt even going to stop at this gamestop today but my uncle said we had time so we did and there he was the last robo and hicks.

i just dont like sagat. never liked him in the games so i still dont like him as a fig in my collection. as for series 2 i have my mind set on Ken, Cammy and maybe Vega. and for 3 it'll be Guile for sure no doubt about that. he has always been my fave in the series so i have to buy him.

Thanks to reading your posts about the Street Fighter figures, this week I picked up Chun Li & Ryu. So awesome. My bro picked up Sagat & he's great too. I'll pick him & M. Bison next week from my local comic shop. They were $14.99 a piece. Next on the list, I got my Yamato 12inch Vash the Stampede figure from E-bay. Best likeness of Vash thus far, IMO. Next, finally got a Kiayodo Spike figure. Really, really nice piece. Also, got an unexpected find at the comic shop this week. Neon Genesis Evangelion Rei & Asuka 20th Gainax Anniversary figures. Such beautiful looking pieces. A bit pricey but great non-the-less at $27.99 each. What's the story with these figures, I mean are they rare to cost that much? Are there other figures in the series? Moving right along, (Vegeta I know you'll be interested in this since we're both BATMAN collectors) I got a DC Direct BATMAN mini-bust of the classic looking BATMAN from the 70s & 80s. Buy it Vegeta, lol. Also, got lucky & found a rare 10inch Justice League Wonder Woman figure. On the Marvel Legends front, I got some figures from series 7, Weapon X & Ghost Rider. Marvel is such a fun line to collect. Great prices for great sculpts, articulation & accessories. I wish I had a camera to take pictures of all this cool stuff. Maybe soon. Then I can show you how much stuff I have packed all over the place, lol.

well chubs like i told you yesterday i would go to the comic shop and found out prices and i kinda did. first off 3rd planet was the only shop here to get the SF figures. everyone else plans to get them within these few weeks which is good cuz my friend wants me to pick up a whole set for him. as far as prices went all they had were two figs, one Sodom left for $15 and the Chun-li variant for $16. i went ahead and bought that chun-li. also got myself a ML Captain America at wal-mart.

Mark that is a sweet haul my friend. And as for the bust u mentioned ive been thinking of picking one up. Maybe within these few weeks ill get one cuz it does look nice. havnt seen you on AIM for sometime now. maybe we'll catch up whenever ur on again.

ya those r pretty fare prices...i thought sagat would b more expensive but he was the cheapest one going for 18 CDN...so i was really happy...chun li and ryu were the most ex*****ve going for 21 CDN...but ya looks like all comic shops were selling them at same prices...i didnt check to c how much the variants were cuz i already had the grey ryu...which u should pick up...i love the color scheme...and u got captain america from series 1?...i ran into apocalypes last nite at a comic shop that was asking a VERY reasonable inflated price for it...it was only 19 CDN (15 USD)...but i dont like that apocalypes
