yup chubs from series one. infact wal-mart has a lot of ML from the first 3 series. picked up captain cuz he is kinda cool and cheap. plus he looks better fighting Batman like in DC vs. Marvel. still couldnt beleive that this was the only comic shop to get the figures, and boy did they go fast. i got atleast one variant so im ok with it, but if i run into the grey ryu i may pick it up.

chubs, I finally got the ebay seller to reply to my email, they ignored my first email, and now theyve told me sota told them the sf figs would ship from china in 3 wks, then they would ship. basically theyre tellin me its a 3+ wk wait at least . and they ignored my question about paying them when they actuallt get the figs, so ive decided to not deal with them. oh well back to the local only list for me then :(

vegeta...i highly recommend picking up the grey ryu...hes the one i opened and wow is he ever nice!...ya the only comic shop to get SF was the one i picked up mine at...the others didnt get anything...and seeing as a whole container of SF figs were destroyed b4 being shipped who knows when the later shops will get them...which is why i'm really glad i got the SF figs this week...and cuz its gonaa start snowing soon...so i get really lazy to drive newhere wen it snows...ya captain america was one of the nicer ML figs...cant beleive u found sum at retail still...

lain...ya shipments got shipped back even more due to the destroyed container...sum online stores got a few cases in but wow its jus insane with all these delays in the figs...but like u said lucky u bought them b4 u regretted it becuz tower records hot topic and wat not called sota and wanted more orders...cept sota doesnt have nemore figs...cuz sota is a really smaller company thats still jus starting up...so they didnt produce all that much SF figs...so ur not gonna pay the guy and jus go look for the SF figs locally then?

ya my brothers came in yesterday...now i kno exactly how long it takes shipments to get to me...nething overseas takes a week and a half...cuz i bought my macross plus valkyrie from malaysia and the ryu from england...they took a week and a half...i bought human inuyasha form canada and it took a week and a half...and all my other stuff were from the states...and they usally take at least 2 and half weeks sum times over 3 weeks to get stuff....kinda ironic no?...but ya i only kno so much bout the crappy delays cuz i wanted these figures so bad...i'm still in awe over the fact i got mine this week...if they didnt come out this week i woulda lost all hope cuz of the destroyed container...u planning on getting robocop lain?....i kno i said ive stopped buying figures cept for anything from the inuyasha, trigun and street fighter lines...but robocop looks very tempting

my dad had me watch Robocop cuz he said it was a good movie. after i turned 6 every movie i saw was R rated and i thought those movies rocked. bout a few years ago my dad wondered how i wouldve turned out if he didnt take me to see all those R movies when i was lil. lol so chubs if u get Robo will that be it for mcfarlane? or would u get ED if he gets made??

These SF figures are really great and im glad i opened them. its not the same if u leave them moc well except for variants. cant wait for guile.

yea Robo is hard to find. i remember the lady at gamestop said she had put out a few of them on the pegs, and by morning those were gone. i was lucky finding one at another stop. still hoping to get another one. wait so u kept them trapped in their package??? the horror....Bison seems to be my fave from the 3 i got. But after Guile that may be it for SF unless they make Felicia or John from Darkstalkers. Might pick up Demitri along with Guile but that depends if the figure looks ok.

I got tired of hunting down ML after series 5 so I just order them by the case now. I got my case from a store in Canada so that's why I have 3 Apocalypse figs. But the case didn't have a Vision in it so I picked one up off Epay for $12 plus shipping.

As for MM8, I should be getting my set early next week that I ordered. No one in this area has the SF figs in but I'm not planning on getting them anyway. Never played the game and don't know anything about the characters. But, after I see them in person that could all change, lol.

There are about 3 or more different case assortments for ML7. The ones in Canada have 3 Apocs, 2 Hawkeyes, 3 Silver Centurions, 2 Weapon X, 2 Ghost Riders and ZERO Visions. Most cases in the States have 3 x GR, Weapon X and Silver Centurion and only 1 each of Apoc, Vision and Hawkeye.

Did anyone just watch FMA on Adult Swim? I thought it was pretty good considering I didn't know anything about it other than Nick's praise for it on here. Now I'm watching GITS: Stand Alone Complex which I didn't know was on Adult Swim. Did it start tonight or last week?

After all of Nick's praising of FMA, I figured I'd give it a shot last night. And I was very entertained by it. Guess I know what I'll be doing at midnight on Saturdays, lol. I also watched GITS: Stand Alone Complex after FMA and thought it was pretty good too.

I too stayed up for the "premiere" anime night on adult swim. I liked Full Metal Alchemist, but must say I did not like Alphonse's voice (I don't know why, I guess the suit of armor threw me off in what I was going to expect from his voice). It was pretty good overall though. It was done by the same people who did Wolf's Rain and Cowboy Bebop, I was very surprised to hear this, as the animation is totally different. I also watched Rourouni Kenshin (which I got into like last week, really cool show, the credits ROCK!). I watched some of Ghost in the Shell (stupid body decided it needed sleep)and thought it was really cool. I hate Inuyasha, so I changed the channel. Then fell asleep and missed Cowboy Bebop (GRRRR!). Oh well.

FMA is dun by the square enix...the people who make the final fantasy games...so it has nothing to do with the creator of bebop

Yeah Dino, I'm a huge DBZ fan, it's what got me into Anime actually. I was checking out Dragonballtoys.com over the weekend and I was actually very surprised the see that Jakks is still in the game regard DBZ. Lots of cool figures like King Cold, Bardock, Frieza form 1, Movie Collection Gohan, Purunga the Namekian dragon & the Ozaro Apes. And here I thought I was done with DBZ domesstic figures altogether.
An another note, more hauls are coming my way thanks to fellow board member, MGS. I'm getting more Kiayodo Trigun figures. I 'll be getting a MIB bloody Wolfwood, Vash with sunglasses, loose Vash with no sunglasses & a Legato mini bust. Plus a Metal Gear Solid Raiden figure. :D

Hey guys...got me my last Akira item from ebay today...the Bandai Chogokin Kaneda and bike

I'm sorta disappointed with it, too....

First off, not everything is diecast...the parts that you assemble on the bike are plastic..the main body of the bike is basically diecast....and the kickstand does nothing, the bike still won't stay put, even with Kaneda on it...

The Kaneda figurine is pretty okay, nothing special....

All in all, the set is nice....correct decals and everything make it more accurate to the anime...but it's not worth anything from 80-90 that the stores are charging (I got mine for 55)

I had a sweet haul today as well , lol the same haul that avp, and millions of other peeps i got the special ed of halo 2 ! this game rocks !!!!! and i got the spec ed for the normal ed price , dont know why my local walmart did, but the had both copies priced the same for $49.96 . glad they did tho .

wow no ones been posting lately huh?...well i was pretty bored today and i wanted to pick sumthing up jus for the hell of it...well not anything random but i wanted to pick up robocop so i called around cuz its been a week since the MM7 figs came out in the states so i called around...only one store had them in...n they were asking 20 CDN for them...which is sumwhat fair seeing as its been kinda hard for sum people to find robocop in the states so i figured that inflated price was reasonable so on my way to the store i went in to TRU to look around and c if they MIGHT have MM7 there cuz canadian TRU dont receive mcfarlane stuff till after a month of its release...like avp did...so i checked the mcf section...nothing new then on the way outta that aisle i saw sum 12 inch wayne gretzkys! so i was like YES they may have the 6 inch oilers gretzky in...so i checked the sides...only l.a. kings gretzky but i look under the NHL legends figures...and wat do i see...hicks and leatherface!!! so i searched and there he was a perfect clamshell robocop!...so i bought him...i love finding things at retail price

I went to the mall today and Kay Bee had MM7, and they must of had at least 10 Robocops there!!!...The also had Hicks but none of them had the motion tracker.

ya...my TRU had 2 robocops one of which i bought, 2 leatherfaces and bout 5-6 hicks...but they didnt seem to have any of the other TCM figs...i guess TRU opted not to carry those figs...i'm gonna head back tomorrow n hopefully sum hicks r still there...dont really care bout the motion tracker though

vegeta can u check ur 2 robocops right arm ball joints for me?...the one i picked up has a different type of joint than others ive seen online...the one i seen online has both arms with the ball joint...my robocop has a normal ball joint left arm but the right arm has a "rod" kinda thing connecting the 2...and at the end of the rod is a ball then theres a socket in the arm n u put the ball into the socket...so pretty much my robocops right arm is connected to the torso jus like how his legs r connected...but ya gald i found him at retaill...now i jus gotta get hicks cuz robocop looks dumb alone on my wall

i just checked them out chubs and they both have ball joints on both their arms. kind sucks about ur robo's right arm but atleast you found him. i only bought hicks cuz he was a cool character in Aliens. Its been a while since i've seen Samurai Jack so I don't really know how much better he's gotten but what i've seen from Sesshomaru impresses me much more than anything Jack has done, and I hate Aku he is the biggest joke of a villain i've ever seen.

well i dunno lain...jack has defeated MUCH crazier guys...i saw this one guy who was a shadow with a skull head or sumthing...and he keeps all the souls of those he killed or died that were the craziest monthers and fighters...and he threw like 200 of those fighters at jack...n jack defeated them all...then the shadow fellow kept throwing those strong demons n fighters against him seeing as they were already dead rite...n in the end jack was able to defeat that shadow guy...well he wasnt a shadow...they jus drew him like a skinny shadow wen he cape was covering his whole body...good episode though

I think I remember that episode chubbs, it was a pretty good one too, but I still think that Sesshomaru has the edge over Jack, he just has to many different attacks that could take Jack out, and the the animation in Inuyasha is much better than Samurai Jack. :D

It's coming out in december in Japan for about $50 each. I don't know when or if diamond will distribute these though. For $50, I'm expecting the quality for gazelle to be close in quality to gungrave.

Oh well, another $100 down the drain for me if diamond releases these for around that price.

I have searched everywhere to no avail in finding any information on it. NoCausRebl if your reading this , perhaps you could tell us where you found these pictures of the asuka ? In observing the accessories that she's pictured with I have no clue what they are, lol . The lance is different than the lance in the series/manga and the skeleton statue/sculpt puzzles me. I don't thinks it's a custom; there were pics of asuka and another EVA character at toyfair; as well as a line of generic robot maids with the same bodies... I'll post some pics when i get home; i'm out of town house sitting right now.. :D

Here's what I found out so far (mostly from using altavista's page translation utility Japanese -> English). The figure will come as a promo item to the December 2004 Shonen Ace magazine. I believe the magazine will be sent with a mail-in voucher for Japanese customers only. If you find out anything else, please share.
