yeah, i figured theyd end up being statues -- the orange haired chicks first fig had the head looking down in some stupid pose! i couldnt believe it -- and they just came out with a new one, but its from a manga cover, in clothes she doesnt wear, which i usually dont mind for most anime, but i would like to have a normal one first - the other fig of the green haired chick is hot as all hell, but it would be nice to have a normal one of those too

there must be a second page i missed or something! i didnt see the disgaea stuff before -- they look GREAT!!!!

yeah, its a shame -- i wish they would all make it to figure form too - i assume the majoritywill be model kits - there are SO many model kits out there that never make it to figure form - and they are really beautiful too -- although, i did see soem stuff up on that site that i KNOW to be gashapon sets, so maybe some of that stuff is normal figs afterall

Not much going on Mark. I havnt bought anything new since my Invader Zim haul. im just wait for the normal Zim figures and Hush 2. saw a few Alternators i wanted to pick up the RX-8, Vette and the Mustang but right now i have to wait. Next year has the rest of the things i want. Hush 3, 1st appearnace Batgirl and Batman the Long Halloween figures. then theres all the anime figs which are too much to list.

Figured I wouldnt have luck like this again, so i got it.

ive heard good things about HLJ.com -- they are in Japan, so im not sure what their shipping would be to your country, but ive heard their rates are pretty reasonable -- plus, youll get the japanese release instead of having to wait for the US release :D

I would usually be upset that there are 1 spideys, but this line is so cool i dont mind at all- and rogue and gambit connecting together is really cool too -- and magneto: simply awesome!

about the trigun rerelease, i know they already did once this year earlier, and i am almost sure they are doing it again at some point -- i think HLJ has them up for release in the next couple months - but i can only assume thats Japan, and we'll get them a couple months later

Yes, I also have the 12 inch Mattel BATMAN. It's ok. Just a blown up version of the regular 6 inch figure. Has a lot of accessories though. It's good but there isn't much you can do with it besides put it on a shelf. It's not as fun as the 18 inch movie Spidey, that's for sure.

i really dont kno y u passed on superman...n u kno i'm not into dc...but i dunno the style this superman was made and the colors really clashed well and i like the fact that hes posessed by poison ivy ...but ya i wanna read bout hush cuz of this jason todd robin character how he supposedly died but turns out to b hush...n i'm glad to c grayson finally got promoted! haha but i dont think i'm gonna buy him...the superman was definitely an impulse buy but i dont regret it at all...u should really get him...one of the nicest sculpted figs of this year in my book

Darn! I missed talk about BATMAN figures. I should have been on last night. I recently picked up HUSH Joker, Nightwing, Catwoman (2x), another HUSH Batman ( I have 4 now, lol). Before that, I picked up the First Appearance Robin & the JLA Atom. I really enjoy collecting DC Direct figures, provided I can find some with very clean paint application which is difficult sometimes. After seeing loose online pics of Superman, I asked my brother to go out today to pick him up along with Harley Quinn. Good news for you Jim Lee Superman fans. DC Direct is coming out with a Jim Lee inspired Superman wave this August. Included in the wave is a normal Lee Superman & Wonder Woman!!!
On the Anime front, I asked my comic shop to order 2 twin packs of the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Major & Batou. Should be at the comic shop this Wednesday! My bro has bought a ton of Anime stuff off of E-bay recently. Including the Cowboy Bebop Gasaphon 5 figure set & a Ghost in the Shell Diver Down figure. From the comic shop, he picked up a Kiayodo Eva 02, DC Direct Jla Firestorm. From fellow board member MGS, I got a Bloody Wolfwood, Vash w/ glasses both MOC. Also a loose Vash w/o glasses, MGS 2 Raiden trading figure & a gashapon Legato bust!
Also found Inu Yasha series 2, I got Sesshomaru while my bro got Kikyo & Sesshomaru. Found some cool Appleseed gashapon figures at Suncoast, picked 2 up, Deunan & Hitomi A.
Plus my bro finally decided to buy the Ninja Scroll series on DVD. Kick ***** Anime for sure!
Damn, thats a lot of stuff when I actually sit down & think about it. More on the way next week. Maybe I'll finally buy a camera to take pics, lol.

im back! :D , but man i havent even spotted the series 2 inuyasha figs, its a real downer most places i go are sold out :( , and i havent gotten any hauls lately but i got one comming in the mail, i bought a couple of figs from cnidaria, a 10 inch ultimate pred from the kenner line,(IMO it was the best pred fig before the mcfarlnes, hands down) im also getting the new born alien and a warrior alien from ressurection which i already got but oh well, im getting these all loose, but i would opened them anyways, and the sweet thing is im getting them for 20 bucks shipped! they should be arriving this week.

I saw the US release oif the FMA trading arts figs and compared them to my friends figs and I must say that the japanese al and ed are better you really can't tell a difference with winry and roy.

The Bat-Gashapon have arrived!!!!

They are pretty great. They dont touch the Marvel Xmen/Spidey gashapon from a couple months back, but still pretty good for what they are.

Sculpts are solid. Looks just like how they were advertised. I know some dont like the style, but i dont mind it. Its something different, but something different I like. But not only the figs, but the bases are great. The 'fishbowl-ish' 'perspective' is just damn cool. and the detail on all of them is great. Most noticably Harley's

Paints are ok. Well, they are dead on on most of them. The only problems were Robin, who had some green flecks of paint here and there. Just sloppy. Cat & Bat's faces are fine. Joker's is painted cleanly, but the sculpt just has too much detail, and trying to paint it just came off bad. Robins face is good in some areas, and sloppy in others. He has some skin colored teeth, for example.

The most noticable mistake is on Harleys face. At first i though "ah, her eyes are closed." due to just small curved lines. Then I realized one has a large, bright-blue circle under it. So i thought maybe they were trying to replicate the eyes from the animated series? just bright blue circles with no lines? But then, the eye was missing from the second eye... So maybe they were going for a 'wink' action there? The good thing about this and most gashapon though, is that its pretty much too small to notice anyway, unless you hold them up close to your face.

So overall, they are pretty nice. Not my best set of gashapon, but cool none the less. I cant wait for more from the line. :D

If you have the slightest interest in DBZ, by all means, pick up these figures. They're well worth the money. You can't go wrong with nice sculpts, accessories, and variant heads.

WHY THE HELL HASN'T THERE BEEN A TRIGUN VIDEO GAME RELEASED IN THE U.S.?! and if there has, i'll cry because i wasnt informed about it... ^_^;

I'd simply rather watch Galaxy Express 999 or Demon City Shinjuku. Most new animes just hold no wonder for me, that's all.

i love princess mononoke and sen to chihiro, becouse they´re more "calm" not so psycho/violent like some animes...

my last purchase was gungrave beyond the grave 3 dvds, GITS2 and a masamune shirow classic: black magic 666, but my fav. anime dvd its the AKIRA SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION not just becouse its my fav. anime but becouse it was a b-day gift from my gf ;)

yea, not too many great games on xbox. halo 1 and 2, ninja gaiden (i'm still on chapter 7 :() and mech assault 2 lone wolf (pretty enjoyable! :))are my top favorites
