eva...most people on this board havent seen trigun either so its all good haha...and its mostly trigun cuz its usually the trigun crew which is me viper and a couple other haha

zeroviper...ya get one man its really nice the black paint has a hint of blue in it so wen u put him under the light u see hints of blue in the suit...very well painted...and the sunglasses questions not stupid...but go with no glasses cuz the glasses r sculpted to bulky on vash...and the slupt is really nice without the glasses...but thats jus my opinion

Sorry haven't been doing my job & posting often to keep this thread afloat but I've been busy the last few days. Got my cable modem connection installed today. It's cool & all but I'm not sure I really want it. I mean I go on 3 websites pretty much, this one, Dragonballtoys.com & the DC Direct MBs. So do I really need the faster connection? I don't download anymore cause I have everything I wanted. So what's the point? I mean 45 bucks isn't cheap every month.
Sorry, went off topic there. Just trying to justify to myself I don't need to waste more money I stuff I really don't need.
On an Anime note, I can finally call myself a true Anime fan. Watched AKIRA for the first time last night. Awesome, confusing, twisted, a masterpiece. Still a little confused on some parts so I'll have to rewatch it some other time.
Also, checked FedEx tracking, my Kaiyodo Trigun figures are scheduled to arrive this Wednesday!!!!!!!!! Finally, my wait will be over. :D

you still got a great collection. my aunt only lets him have 2 of the spare rooms upstairs and thats it for his collection. we've side tracked off anime but i just need to say this about bond cars plus this is the one i got. the vanquish is IMO the best bond car ever aside from the first one.

i'm not too sure but the wolfwood busts i see around at the store i go to go for alotta dough and this one is much more rare so i'm guessing alot....and they ony made 3500 of the exclusive wolfwood busts

personally i didnt think palisades did a very good job on them i took a look at them cuz the store i saw them at had them in a display glass thing and they didnt look all that great...especially the eyes...but thats jus my opinion

Today was the day. Came home to a large box deliverd by FedEx.
Got my Trigun figures!!!!!!! :D
I got my set of Vash in red with sunglasses, normal Wolfwood & Meryl. Meanwhile my brother got his set with Vash in red with no sunglasses, normal Wolfwood & Meryl.
After I took them out of the great looking packaging, I took a look at their detail. Awesome amout of detail in the sculpts & a ton of accessories. I'm still trying to figure out all the points of articulation & find good poses for all 3 figures. I tried copying some of the suggested poses but damn there tough to replicate. Standing them has also been a challengedue to some loose joints. Guess I'll leave them sleeping on my desk till the weekend when I can find a place to set them up in my room & find decent poses for them. I love them though. I came home at 6 pm & it's almost 10 pm & this is the first time I stopped messing around with them so I can type this messege. :p
Now, maybe if Kaiyodo would hurry up & release Legato & make a Milly & Knives my collection would be complete. I still would like to find a normal Monov the Gale too. Until then, I'm totally satisfied with my 3 new figures. Sometimes I buy so many new figures at one time that I never have a chance to appreciate the detail of work in the those figures because there's too many I got in a short amount of time. I won't do that with these fantastic figures though.
Wish I had a digital cam to snap a few shots when I set up my Japanese import Anime figures shelf up. First problem I have is actually finding shelf space on my walls in my room to put the shelves up in. Too bad my room doesn't have more than for walls in it, lol.

glad to hear you are happy with the trigun figures Mark. i knew you would cuz they are just so good. posing them is the fun part even though vash cant go in many but wolfwood and it looks the same for meryl. vash is just standing there cuffed to his base while wolfwood is holding his cross in one arm and his gun in his other hand. took me awhile to wrap up the cross just right cuz most pics i see people have him hold his cross unwrapped. meryl i havnt opened yet and not too sure if i should.
but hey all u gotta do is wait around a year or so for one of there figures. if we are lucky we should have all the figures including his original characters by 2010 give or take a year or 2.:D

vegeta...that cross is sucha handful to wrap...ive had my wolfwood opened for almost 2 years now and i finally decided to pull out the cloth and the chains and try to wrap up the cross...and ya seeing other people take pics of their wolfwoods n having the cross wrapped poorly was like a pet peeve for me so i was up for an hour perfecting the wrap haha...but i like it better without the wrapping so i pulled it off...but it was a good time killer seeing as i'm up really late everynite...then i sat there for like another hour jus looking at my gungrave...so perfect i luv it...i think thats my new fave figure in the house haha

yea i had wolfwood all this time and never wrapped it up. cuz when i tried doing it the first time it didnt come out right so i gave up on it. then a while back i decided to try it again and it only took me 30mins to get the cloth on just right and i like it. so its been like that for a few months now.

kaiyodo has just done a great job on the trigun figures and i cant wait to see the rest of the line. heh ya know i feel like im the only person who hasnt seen spiderman 2 yet. i just havnt had time to see it but i will this saturday that and grave will be a b-day gift to myself.

I totally screwed up with the wrap that came with my Wolfwood. It looked horrible cause it only took me a few mins to put it on. Then when I tried to remove it, the pieces of string started to become unraveled :( . I have all these loose pieces of string littering my floor now. Plus I spent the better of a half an hour trying to untangle the loose pieces of string from the wrap itself. Dumb part was after I finshed it all up, my brother who still hasn't taken this wrap out of the plastic bag decides to test out how it looks so he goes ahead & wraps mine all back up again! :eek:
I think I'll save the next unraveling for tomorrow afternoon. :mad:

lol thats kinda funny mark. yea the loose pieces of strings are what got me mad the first time i wrapped it up. they were everywhere so i put it up never to use it again till a few months ago. and once done right it looks really good with the chains on it. so what i recommend if ur going to try wrapping it up some other time after u unwrap it, is try and trim the loose string as best as u can.

Yeah Chubby, I took Meryl out too. I recommend you do too. She's really an awesome looking figure. Super amout of detail in, well ...everything. Her facial sculpt, body & accessories. Speaking of accessoreis, she come with a ton of them. All of which look great. Still haven't assembled the base tho. Her articulation is good too. The cape restricts some of her arm movement but it shouldn't be much of a problem. The cape is made of a very soft plastic. The only problem my Meryl has is some looseness ( :o ) with her. Especially with her feet that seem to just bend to the sides, might be the heat over here in NJ tho. Maybe when things cool down, the plastic might harden up. I've had it happen to me with other figures. Great standing figures when the weather is cool out but soon as it gets hot they start to fall over.
I'm liking these figures so much, I might buy doubles to keep in the kick-butt packaging. :D

Here are some picks of Bandai's Kaneda and bike. The scale is a little off when comparing the size of Kaneda to the bike, but the die-cast metal makes up for it. The bike has working shocks on the front and back, a movable steering column and the front opens up in a similar fashion to McFarlane's. As you can see from the pics every panel is removable exposing the frame of the bike. A very nice piece to add to anyones collection.

i have space for him on my tv stand cuz the very top shelf has some of my figures in the box. only figures up there are my FFX-2 figures and my yuna statue still in the box so grave will be joining them. and if the Paine and Rikku statues are made there is still enough room for him there. the one area i have left for any figures that come in boxes would be ontop of my dresser closest thing. only thing up there is my Matrix boxset and battle damaged ssj vegeta and ssj3 goku still in their boxes.

yea those are good. i bought that trigun one and the squall with rinoa for my ex a while back for cheap cuz the store was closing out. yea the shipping kinda sucks but when u cant find it in anime stores u dont have much of a choice. Paine was the only one i ordered, but i an endless waltz scroll somewhere in the back i just gotta find it. Lulu would be the only one i order i might even pick up the cloud this weekend at the store. not sure yet but ill be thinking it over.

ya ive been meaning to buy that wolfwood one for years now...but its bumped down the list cuz the bebop one and the kenshin one have like meaning to it..cuz i LOVED the story to the kenshin ova and of coarse as u already kno i love bebop and that picture shows them in the past so i really want it...wow i havent watched endless waltz in a while...that was a good movie...or ova ...i liked the movie version better...it was the 1st dvd i bought

same goes for me wolfwood has been bumped down cuz i want those FF scrolls first. cuz Lu is my fave female game character Paine is tied with her. and cloud cuz he looks bad *** in Advent Children. wow the first dvd i bought was Gundam Wing vol. 1 endless waltz was the 4th. hmm now that i remember i havnt finished playing FFX-2. i gotta finish that soon. lol

u havent finished x-2? haha i finished it twice...once with the usual ending...and the 2nd time with the ending that made my month haha....its a very short game and the last boss was...i wuss...its not even funny...i took 2 swipes at him and he died...but its cuz i usually go way over board wen i level up haha...have u bought the english gungrave dvds yet?...i wanna kno if the dubs r decent...well they cant really screw it up cuz all the characters r everyday people, nothing outlandish...well not till the last 8 eps or so...but i think theyre playing the 1st 3 eps of gungrave at the animethon so i'll check out the dubbed version there

I have to admit, from all the other messege boards I visit, this one thread has to be my fave. It's awesome talking to people who share my brother (he's 18) & I's love for Anime & Anime figures.
Dragonball Z was the one that got us hooked on Anime since it was our first introduction to Japanese animation. It's been within the last 5 months acutally that we've been straying from DBZ & checking out other Animes. Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, G Gundam, Wolf's Rain & Witch Hunter Robin is what we're currently watching & trying to buy the DVD sets for. Anime is like exploring space for the both of us, there's so much unexplored stuff out there that's waiting to be discovered( & watched & DVDs bought & figures collected & ... see what I mean, Anime is infinite, lol).

well b4 it was good cuz i would talk about it and no one would have a clue i was talking about...and now lil kids can talk about it...dbz is like pokemon now...and funimation did the worst job ever...they totally changed the music...and they changed the script alot though they stayed with the story...and bad voices
