her full name is kuchiki rukia (or rukia kuchiki in english speaking order) and she is the soul reaper/shinigami from the manga and anime BLEACH, very cool pvc statue, no assembly required, pre painted.

just got these in the post this morning (along with some older dbz gashapon). as soon as i saw these on hlj.com, i knew i had to get them.

for those that aren't aware, this is the full set of Tenjou Tenge figure series Part 2 and they are amazing. they all have multiple points of articulation and are about 9cm/10cm in height (chibi maya is obviously about half that). comparing them with the devil may cry trading kt figures, they aren't in scale, much bigger. judge for yourselves:

hey all , i know i havent posted in a looong time so im dropping in to say hi, and give an update on my recent hauls. Latest hauls : Master FX Darth Vadar , and Anakin Skywalker lightsabers , Sota Street Fighter Blanka , Ken ( Gstop Excl ) Cammy ( Gstop Excl ) I was so shocked that my gamestop had actually started carrying the sf figs that i couldnt resist . The manager told me they would continue to get them in as well . So the day in which i can get sota sf localy has finally come ;)

The Ken i got from gamestop is wearing a dark brown/blackish outfit which indicates its the gamestop exclusive . I dont know how the other colored kens are packed, but i heard that the gamestop exclusives were packed 1 per case, how accurate that is i dunno , but the funny thing is there was NO red colored kens at my gamestop either, lol ( but my gamestop only had 3 sota sf figures all together when i got mine Ken, Cammy, and Blanka all of which i got ) and isnt the red ken supposed to be the base figure of ken and packed more than the variants are supposed to be ? . Chubs, i beleive this is ur field of expertise , so enlighten us if u can , lol ;) :D

i would like to help you but i havent bought any SF round 2 figures yet nor will i cause i'm trying to stop collecting and the inflated price for them here in canada is unbelievable...it was hard to pass on them but i did...hell i passed on a hologrpahic yoda tonight at TRU cause they were asking too much for it...so yeah i'm pretty much just collecting SW3 stuff now...modestly collecting them of coarse haha...but as far as i can tell all kens seem to be best sellers

Red Ken is the regular, white is the variant. The brown Ken is packed randomly into GameStop cases. Yellow Ken is the "internet exclusive."

I saw the larger scale FMA figures at Suncoast and I was pretty impressed. They look very nice.. but they don't come with the stands that I was hoping for. :(

White Ken IS the variant, but Red is more in demand since it's more classic. White doesn't even really sell on eBay very well.

cool, i really like the ufs dbz series and its ashame they didn't expand it past piccolo and furiza. at the moment i'm missing vol 2 vegeta and furiza. vegeta, i need to get badly, hong kong supposedly sold out of vol 2 the week ufs came out

there were a few vol 2 vegetas left at TRU but the only figure i'm interested in is mystic gohan so i bought him...i'm not really into dbz anymore...its become too mainstream for my taste

Nice pick-up on the Ultimate Fighter fig. I haven't watched or even liked DBZ in forever, but i had to have the Vegeta when i saw him. Sweet figs, though there are a few articulation changes i would have made.

been a dbz fan since i was 9, my aunt used to send me tapes she recorded off TVB in hong kong back in the early 90s. mainstream or not, i still can't get enough dragonball. but with the awesome anime that is constantly coming out, it eases the pain

im addicted to manga like a madman, but have almost successfully cut down significantly on those... unfortunatley, im getting back into US comics too...

and of course, a few videogames have me intrigued, and im selling a bunch of my stuff on eBay trying to save up for a PSP... that begin region free isnt going to help my money saving situation either... even as lacking as that Bleach fighting game seems to be, im gonna want to play it BAD

yea he's a toyfare exclusive. i was kinda shocked when i saw some of the comic shops here had some. but for $48 they can keep him. i have the normal version of him. also picked up a colored Sin City Marv plus i ordered Toyfares Cut Marv too. I like the Gashapons myself, I'd buy em' but I can tell they are probably a lot more expensive then they are really worth, and the fact gettin' my mom to let me order anythin' outside of amazon.com is a hassle, she has a fantasy that the moment ya order from something else they instantly rob your credit card and send us to the poor house.

I love it when they include figures with DVD boxes though, don't ya guys love that? It's kind of a deal brake for me.

Gashapon rarely disappoint for me. Pics of the actual product are usually pretty close to what they look like in hand.

They are expensive, but the chance of having a unique piece in the collection is pretty good though.

I've been looking for an excuse to get into Gashas. Can you recommend the ones in fighting/dyanmic poses? I don't like the "sexy" ones that are all nekkid and whatnot. The magic ones look cool, especially with translucent magic effects.
