I reckon the only place you'll find them is online. In the states they tend to show up at Import and comic shops, as well as Suncoasts.

i own an appleseed duenan figure


been leavig her on display on my shelf for a few weeks since i touched her coz i got her in a cool position.

today i tried to pose her to carry my RPG from the soldiers boxset to shoot a pic

upon trying to mmove her left arm, the joints in the left elbow cracked and the left hand came off!!!


its not broken but the whole joint kinda rumbled to powdery plastic


must have rotted

i dont know how it happened but it did


can someone help me buy an moc one from usa?

i belive the retail is 20 bucks

ill pay shipping plus the retail

now ill bury my crumbled joing duenan and lay her to rest

I grabbed my own Moribito-02 from eBay for $0.99. Guess the guy really didn't know what he had there.

As for the anime series, JINKI: Extend, I'm sad to say don't bother with it. It's not very good. The TV series is based on the manga and started out with a few promising episodes, but then it degenerates into a mess when they jump from the main character you start out with, to a whole new set of characters and their stories... And then you jump back to the main character's storyline and--- well bottom line is that it's a real mess. Lasted only 12 episodes... Maybe the manga's better, I dunno...

The storyline (the initial one :D) is typical and formulaic. Lonely orphaned girl (Aoba) who likes to build mecha model kits gets recruited into yet another top secret organization assembled to thwart yet another alien invasion. Must be getting pretty crowded with all the secret alien thwarting organizations over there. :rolleyes: Anyway, Aoba joins the ranks of the JINKI pilots, who are of course pretty much all young girls/women... Conspiracies abound and mecha bashing city smashing fun is had by all... :p

I didn't finish watching the series as it got really convoluted when they tried to introduce so many subplots so quickly, and dropped a whole new cast of characters in your lap not even mid-series...

There are plenty of mecha to base figures on but the impression I got is that the series really didn't do that well, so I kinda doubt there'll be more figures, but you never know. The Moribito-02 figure is a pretty decent set.

Sorry for the misinformation... I know I said earlier that Maya was being released some time during the period of August to October, according to what was posted on a number of sites.

Anyway, she's a decent figure. Her pose lacks dynamic, but the production quality and paint application is quite good. The paint app is crisp and clean, right down to the small buttons and medals on her amply filled bikini top.

Unfortunately her sword is molded in one piece as far as I can tell--- haven't cracked open the package yet since I have no display space set up at the moment.

She's a PVC statuette, so articulation lovers, look away... look away...

All in all, I'm quite happy with her.

So 2 of my favorite anime/manga's of 2004/2005 got gashapon set already this year: Ichigo 100% and School Rumbles. Basically just characters standing there, nothing special. Was I happy with them? Of course I was. They didnt need to give me more. But they are.

This October will be my favorite month this year.

i have to admit, the first Ichigo set is AWESOME. The pics online didnt do it justice. Fantastic sculpts and paint apps, and good sized as well. More dynamic poses is defintiely somewhat an imrovement though. :D

not sure if they have announced another season or not.... the show and its horrible animation didnt go over too well with the majority of manga fans...

BUT, there should be a 4 episode OVA coming out in the next couple of weeks... and if the quality of that is anything close to the quality of the earlier 1 ep OVA, it should be GREAT

nothing new on my front... read a bunch of manga today... manga i bought from the store this weekend... Psychic Academy 8, DearS 3, Negima 6.... oh, and Beck 1... i had forgotten how awesome Beck was... the only bad part is that i have to wait till november for vol 2...

watching some anime tonight... specifically: Dokuro-chan (GREAT show; hilarious), Mahoraba (this show just gets better and better), and Ichigo 100%... Ichigo 100% just came to an end... they did a pretty crappy job with the animation, so i cant say that i'm sad to see it go... but after i watched it, i watched last years OVA... same voice cast, different animation... and 100 times better too... it was awesome... makes me REALLY look forward to the 4 ep OVA coming out in the coming months

An online shop offered me a refund or store credit for one of my orders that never made its destination and I'm undecided on whether to take the refund or credit.

The store has Vol. 1 of the Murata figures in stock and I'm toying with the idea of using my store credit on these, but in some photos, they look good, in others... not so good.

yes, i love my set - i think they look just as good as the better pics you can see online...

that 6th fig, i really have no idea - i think it was a secret fig or maybe just harder to get when they were blind boxed for the japan release - when they were released over here, they were bubble carded... not sure if that one was packed any different than the rest or not - i had ordered mine from anime-nation, when they seemed to get a bunch in stock all at once a couple months ago

O my god one other thing, I should have never opened my Vampire Hunter D figure, I got home the other day and he fell off the very top of my book shelf and his sword broke at the hilt. I'd be cautious about those Tsukyomi figures. The Palm Scenery figures leave alot to be desired in th paint department. I haven't recieved my Tsukihime set yet, but the pics i've seen are disturbing.
