No prob, just looking out for my fellow boardies(the ones that aren't teh suck, anyways), especially the ones with such great taste in collectibles.;) The shadow lady pvc usually goes for $25-35, I got this one for $13.49.:eek: Very happy win for me to say the least.:D Oh one quick question, how much was the sdcc bome? Just wanted to know because I got mine in the mail saturday from ebay(etoyer is the seller) for $18dlvd. I don't see how the seller made any money on that deal, but oh well, I'm happy at least.:D

Hey guys, newbie to anime figs here.

I ordered the 8" Ikki Tousen Kanu statue yesterday and it will be my first anime fig.

I was wondering, can you guys recommend any other statues similar in theme and look to the Kanu one so I can have a small collection of anime babes for display.

Unfortunately, I haven't actively looked for them at any other store. I got mine through one of the co-owners of my local comic shop. He knows I'm into anime so sometimes he takes a chance, orders something he thinks I'd probably buy--- he's been pretty dead-on so far. :p

Lets see.

For R you'll have to go gashapon. I've seen some pretty racy large scale figures, but your not going to find them without a contact in Japan or Y!Japan auction and lots of dough. Anything above R is gonna be a resin kit.

Nanbu Tsukasa ia a nice PVC, The Takoko and Nekoko ones are also swell.

Gashapon are the best way to go with gals, there better deal for the money, and you can get lots of them, and a good gasha display is a sight to behold. Take up less room too.

You might pay a little bit more than usual for them tho. Last time I checked there werent many on e-Bay and they were going for high prices. Not to many american sellers have them either. I would take pics for ya if I didnt have them packed away.

It was funny cause I saw it at the store and I didn't know they had 2 different ones. So I've been looking at the 4" one on yamatousa.com thinking it was the same one I saw at the store since I didn't notice the one on Yamatos website said 4" and its also the only one listed. So I got sick of waiting for a reply in this thread so I went and bought the store one cause I couldnt help myself. I noticed it was missing the thigh articulation when I was at the store so I was heavily debating getting it, thinking I was getting some ripoff variant... I continued to purchase anyway. I matched it up with the one on the website and realized my errors..... I have come to terms with it though. I clearly think this 7" figure is the best action figure I have now due to the fact that the quality is amazing and the articulation is superb. I still would have liked at least one if not two swiveling thighs. This girl is beautiful. She can't hold a gun for ****, but I've convinced her to fane interest in the weapons.

I have two of the 7" and i could really use 1 or 2 more. I used a black twist tie to get her to keep a gun in hand. Didn't care for the one she came with anyway.

Yea, I was lucky to find this one at the comic shop I rarely ever go to, she was hidden behind another appleseed figure too, lucky I looked. The guns she comes with is alright for me since I have no other accessories for her. I have placed a piece of tape on the end of the clip to keep it in the gun better so that was somethin that needed to be done. I enjoy posing her teeheehee.

No, but nothing shows flawed sanding and putty work like high gloss black paint. ;) True for cars and model bodies.

Tough to say. My 2 Suncoast haven't sold any of the recent Yamato offerings. Both totally skipped over the Ikki Tousen PVC statues & other figures. Also, the Yamato Trigun Vash sitting on the chair statue wasn't carried at my 2 Suncoast either. I'm really hoping that they will indeed carry the Trigun Maximum figures. I really want Legato & Rei Dai.
Oh, by the way, expect to pay an inflated price for these figures. They'll be around $11.99 when they do come out. Which should be sooner than later since several E-bay sellers in CA have begun to carry them.

Oh, Impy. The stuff that Diamond imports is not garbage. Lots of great stuff has come out with much cheaper prices than you would have paid much more for. Look at the Kaiyodo EVA's, Grave, the Trigun figures, Fist of the Northstar & Bome statues. That's a lot of awesome stuff if you ask me. ;)

But here's a recap of the last 260 pages. Used to be a thread called Trigun figure thread, which unoffically became the Anime figure thread. After 100 pages or so, that thread was deleted. So then my good buddy, SS4 Vegeta started this crazy thread known as the Anime Figure Thread. Bunch of cool guys used to post here along with a bunch of cool guys that post now. :)

I've heard that the runner thing is hard to get on... If you do get the kit, search for some tutorials to help with that...
