Can someone give me a basic premises for Naruto? In other words, what the frig is it about? I feel left out cause you guys are talking about something I have no clue about, lol.
On another note, today was my 22nd B-day.

Naruto
In a concealed village, a young man hides within a bunch of leaves. His name is Uzumaki Naruto, a mischievous boy attending Ninja Academy.

Everyday, he does nothing but cause mischief and making Iruka-sensei mad. And above all, it's doubtful that he'll be able to graduate from the Academy. But Naruto has a dream... A dream that he'll become the head of the Ninja village, following Hokage and will become the best ninja around.

However, all the adults in the village give Naruto cold looks. The truth is, Naruto has a secret about his birth. 12 years ago, "Kyuubi no Youko" (Nine Tailed Fox - A kind of evil spirit who tormented the village, was sealed within Naruto's body who was, at the time, a baby. The head of the academy, Mizuki, uses Naruto to steal the "Fuujin Scrolls" and makes Naruto understand his past. Naruto is outraged.

Even with Iruka's help, Naruto just barely defeats Mizuki. Knowing Naruto's secret, Iruka knows Naruto will meet someone who'll help him and so, makes a decision. Naruto is allowed to graduate safely from Ninja Academy. Along with his classmates, Uchiwa Sasuke and Haruno Sakura together, they make their first step as Ninjas!

i loved the shows back when i was a kid. thats why ive been buying figures of updated shows back then. got the 4 basic new turtles, he-man and skelator, transformers alternators and soon voltron.

i remember voltron so well my favorite line. "Form feet and legs, form arms and body, and ill form the head"

Well it was Thai instead of Japanese today. Never had it before. I asked the waitress what was the least spicy dish they offered, lol. I really enjoyed it especially these tofu squares I dipped in this yummy honey & nut sauce. Mmmm :) .
Well to celebrated my B-day tomoorw, I'm going to go on a shopping spree. I'm gonna hit my local comic shop & hopefully they'll have something I'm not expecting to find over there. I really want the Bandai Gashapon part 4 Dragonball Z figures. They look so awesome for such small figures.
Then it's a ride over to Suncoast to check if they have any of the new Inu Yasha figures & Ghostbusters movie figures. After that, I'll go have a nice chat with my favorite Anime lovin' girl that works at FYE :D .
Then Chinese for diner & afterwards late nite Spidey 2!!
Busy day tomorrow, hopefully things go as planned. Kinda sucked though yesterday cause I dropped like 200 bucks to get my car fixed again. This takes the total I've spent on this car in the last 2 months up towards 1000 bucks!!!! :(
Maybe I should look for a car tomorrow instead of figures, huh? Haha. :confused:

well, it wasnt during the actual show. when I watch trigun, I watch it on the cartoon network. often, when the show takes a commerical break , the show stops - then it cuts to a screen where vash is sitting wearing his sunglasses with the " Trigun" logo on the side , in this screen, he is wearing his black trench coat, with red tinted glasses, then when the show returns from the commerical break, it shows the same screen, but vash is now wearing his red trench coat. ;)

Lain we really dont know too much info on release dates for Gazelle and Legato. But from what ive heard and sticking with is that Gazelle should be out sometime this year and Legato should be out next year. Gazelle was supposed be out last year but it didnt happen so i hope from what ive heard he should be out this year.

no dude...haha canada is poverty regarding famous people...so we didnt get neone...well me n friends went to the guess that anime tune thing for fun...damn people get way too over excited wen they here and anime song they like...we even saw one big fellow dance along to the detective conan opening dance...too many obsessed people i tell u haha...n we sat down watched armitage dual matrix...not a bad flick...we missed the inuyasha movie...we caught sum fullmetal alchemist cuz my cuzin never seen it b4 so she wanted to c it...u guys should check out fma....i'm hooked on that anime rite now...really good...and i cant remember....i was there for 6-7 hours on 1 and half hours of rest last nite...but overall fun day

it was free...but if u payed for a premium pass or watever u got access to the vendors room frum 10-2 then after 2 its open to the public...we got there round 11 30? so i was able to pick up the jinki...i swear seeing as there were so few vendors i thought the only thing i would buy was the 4 inch gungrave...i thought it was an exclusive...the dude who sold me it had a box full of them...then we walked around then i saw it...there were alot the chick figures or mini staues that u guys like there...like the stary image figure love hina figs and the evangelion statues of the 2 chicks in casual to skimpy clothing...and of coarse ur 12 inch lulu haha

my comic stores here dont carry the 4in grave but animecastle has him for $10, but yea i plan to get Prime next cuz he is #1 on my list right now. then comes the Inu-Yasha and Chobit figures, already pre-order the grimrock EVA girl set, Gazelle if he comes out this year, Galhound statue, Aerith statue and MAYBE the one of cloud, Robocop from MM7 and the Elder and Celtic Predators. thats all i can think of right now besides hoping to find Lulu at the con.

Lain we really dont know too much info on release dates for Gazelle and Legato. But from what ive heard and sticking with is that Gazelle should be out sometime this year and Legato should be out next year. Gazelle was supposed be out last year but it didnt happen so i hope from what ive heard he should be out this year.

No new Dragonball Z gashapon part 4 figures at my comic shop.
No new Inu Yasha or Ghostbusters figures at Suncoast.
No new Marvel Legends seris 6.
Nothing new period. No surprise Anime figure finds.
Didn't even see Spiderman 2. Plus it was rainy all weekend long. Oh yeah, even the Dark Knight Returns figures are pushed back till August 25th instead of this coming Wendesday. :mad:

Yeah, I'll go check out Spidey this week sometime. I was thinking about picking up that awesome 18 inch super poseable figure. Haven't bought anything new since my Trigun figures arrived 2 weeks ago so I'm itching to buy something new. :)

I need that 12 inch Spike figure that you or Chubby posted a link to a few pages back. The new one that's coming out in August. How much is 7.800 yen to American dollars anyway?
Also, now I want the Sub Zero Monev the Gale I always see at my comic shop. My comic shop, for a while, was great with Anime surprises. Things I didn't even know they made, I'd find over there. Recently they've hit a slump. Last good thing was DBZ gashapon part 3 in May.
Maybe my figure luck will pick up again soon.

Yea no problem Mark. im not sure how much that is in american dollars, but u should pick up Monev even if its only the Sub Zero one. Its a very sweet figure i wanna open it but i wanna have the red one before i open the sub zero. im hoping the anime convention thats coming here will have what im looking for. cuz my top 2 from my anime list is Lulu from FFX and the red Monev anything else i get from there is a bonus.
the 18in spidey looks really cool and ive seen it marked down at some stores marked down. i would buy one but have no clue as to where id put it. the only spidey movie figure i want is doc ock. i have the first movie spidey and the goblin and there are really cool.

wow sucks u couldnt find nething mark...but that always happens to me...u get used to it living here haha...ya its hard to keep mech figures in the box...like the moribito figure...i mean the guys got like 3 diff melee weapons! one with switchable blades....2 guns one big one and one gigantic one! and lotsa lil things u can take off and switch diff parts with...as well as 11 extra hands...not including the 2 already on him...this thing is a beast...i think i mite buy another one to open...

I need some Cowboy Bebop figures badly. I don't know if I want the 6 inch Spike from Kaiyado though.
It looks cool but man, there are TOO many figures I want. A lot of them I don't even know exist, lol.
I had no idea Kaiyodo made Trigun figures. Or about 12 inch Spike. Or the !StoryImageFigures! of Trigun or Cowboy Bebop.
I mean it would be alright if I just wanted those figures but I also collect Marvel Legends & DC Direct!
Honestly, I have no room in my room for any more figures. I have about 8 big bins full of figures. Heck, the Dragonball Z bin has well over 100 Irwin & Jakks figures. :eek:
Oh, if your wondering, the figures aren't all on top of each other. I have these really nice, heavy duty zip lock bags I put each figure in so they don't rub up against eachother. I have one bag about the size of the figure then I have another bigger bag outside the first bag to ensure safety. :)

Chubby u mean The End of Evangelion? cuz i own all that came out on eva. i have the 8 dvd set then the directors cut to volume 7 and 8. and both movies Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion. All of it is really good.
Mark i know the felling of running outta room for a collection. i collect a lil bit of everything myself but mostly anything anime related. I only have 2 and half bins filled with figures but my anime is whats mostly displayed along with a few other non anime figures.

This is a first. My brother picked up the last DVD to Witch Hunter Robin yesterday. It makes it a first because this is the first Anime DVD collection either one of us has completed.
Vegeta, it sucks when you have soo many nice figures & you have no place to display them.
The only figures I have displayed are Vash, Wolfwood & Meryl, Bandai Perfect Goku 00, some !StoryImageFigures! of Kenshin & Bandai UFS Hoku & Vegeta.
That's all out of I'd guess maybe 500 figures I have in bins, lol.
And I still want more ...

I really need to go back and finish some of my dvd collections like i used to do before i went all figure crazy. i have some where around 80 or so figures displayed in and out of packages. I just started leaving figures on the card and hanging them on my wall. i have one shelf on my diplay case with non anime figures. the crow fishtank and spawn on throne and besides my tv not opened. only non anime i have displayed besides those two are Horned Hellboy, ML Blade, ML Wolverine, new x-men series wolverine, spawn 8, WOR spawn, batman from a kb boxset, snake plisken, movie spidey and green goblin. everying else in that case are mechs and transformers.

though i think the 6 inch kaiyodo looks like spike as well....but if u look at the 6 inch spikes face real close thats wen the black outline paint becomes really apparrent so wen people take closeup shots of the spike figure and put it up it doesnt look like spike

I think I'll just get the 6 inch Spike as a place holder until I get the 12 inch one. I have pretty good luck with figures that are hard to get. Eventually, I find them & for a pretty decent price. Hope I got lucky for this Spike too.

They are ok but i havnt bought anything from them this year it was last year when i bought the Vampire Hunter D figure.

i saw sum new pics of dead end and he looks pretty good...the same like the subarus...they made minor changes to the sculpt like the tale lights and other minor ones that stand out...GEH u had to still have those fma figs in the back didnt u temjin haha...hey wats eps r u in in fma rite now temjin?...i'm assuming u watch it cuz u watch everything haha i jus finished eps 37....i nearly died laffing...funniest anime eps i seen in a while

ya i jus started watching fma again cuz after eps 20 it started getting really good...esspecially eps 25 cuz hughes was my fave character...and temjin...u kno that fully posable fig of rei that u have 2 of? who made it?

I'm not sure who made it. It came with volume 9 of the manga in Japan. I'm looking at the box and it only has Gainax listed and the sculptors.

Yea Gainax produced the show. If you're interested in getting the figure I can check to see if the book store in my area still has them. They were $20+tax.
