still cant wait to get my set of those eva girls. the D figure is pretty cool im glad i got it only thing ill complain about is the fact he cant stand. not even with the base he comes with so mine is leaning up on a wall.

oh yea i forgot. dude some of the older anime is great if u can get over the fact that its old then ur good to go. but ur just spoiled like some of my friends. without older anime we wouldnt be where we are today and thats watching way better animation. a true anime fan wouldnt care about the age of an anime. anime is like wine it gets better with age. u should atleast give one old anime a shot.

V-Jump magazine from japan has reported that there might be a FF7-2 GAME in the works. but they have said there are a few things planned for FF7 what they are we'll just have to wait and see.

im still in shock from seein it. that figure is sweet and know im just thinking of something. i wonder where will these be sold at cuz the FFX-2 figures i only found at gamestop. i dont remember seeing them anywhere else from what i remeber. when they mention release dates i may have to ask the manager at the comic shop i go to alot to see if they'll be getting any.

well they will start selling them at comic shops...but the ffx2 figs r all over the place niw i went to one place and asked them if tehy will b getting ne new shipments and they said they wont b getting nemore ffx2 figs so i went on ebay about all 3 for a pretty good prive then after 2 weeks or so after receiving them almost all the comic stores got them...so i dunno at 1st it'll b tuff to get sum ff7ac figs but in a couple months it'll b easy

It would be great to hear if they are making an aeris figure, but whoever is made ill be getting them all. FF7 has been my favorite game since i got a PS and i missed out on getting the figures to the first series. so ill be sure to get the AC figures even the bike.

i think the most ill be spending on a figure will be the Voltron. if what they said is true about the pricing then that'll set me back $150 for it. $50 for each set of lions in a 3 book style package. ive got some flow put aside just for the FF7 AC figures. i try to plan ahead as much as i can.

The metallic looking Evas are from the Soul of Chogokin line; I hope they do the final mass production model as well.

The last Rei figure is from the limited edition Vol. 9 of the Japanese manga. It's about 3.5 inches tall.

Chubby the Die cast Voltron is 12in tall and will cost a total of about $150. they will be packaged in a book style just like the robotech figures. a total of 3 books for Voltron at about $50 each.

Thanks guys, yeah I love samurai style anime, including Rurouni Kenshin. The Kenshin doll is a Volks doll, which is kind of cool - except for the flaming orange hair they used on him.

I'm expecting the Rei statue to arrive in the mail soon - it's the companion to the Asuka one. I just love how they are detailed in those sculpts!

Oh yeah, wasn't there a picture posted here a while ago that someone had made an End of Evangelion type diaroma with all of the mass production models attacking Unit 02? I need to see that image again, I was thinking about possibly building something like that soon.

Well I got a few Anime related things since last time I posted here.
My fave is the Kaneda statue from AKIRA. He sitting on a red chair, I think it's a scene from the Manga & not the movie. It looks great!
Then I picked up something from Neon Gennesis Evangelion. Its a trading figure in a blind box. I didn't get the ones I wanted tho. I got some mech with a long hammer weopon. Damn I hate how it looks! I really wanted either the chick in the red or the chick in silver jumpsuits. I 've never watched NGE so I'm not familair with the characters but I thought the two girls figures looked nice. I decided to try my luck, damn I hate that figure. I didn t even put in together & it cost me 10 bucks!!!!!!! :mad:
My bro picked up another Kaneda statue after he saw mine, plus he got all the Kaneda, Tetsueo & bike that McFarlane made off of E bay for like 20 bucks. He also picked up some neat DBZ Unifive blind box figures.

haha ya i thats y i never buy those blind box toys cuz u never kno wat u get and u always end up with a crappy one...n that akira statues pretty nice ive seen it a while back...i've got a couple hauls coming in frum ebay within the next week...this week my bloody wolfwood is gonna come in...and next week (fingers crossed) my macross plus YF-21 valkyrie is gonna come in

The the Mech looks like orange & gray holding a huge sledgehammer weopon. It also has 2 tenticles on its head on some huge coolant casing on its back.

Nice haul Mark and the orange mech is from the video game im not too sure what its name is though. Im going to an anime shop tomorrow to see what came in. I forgot to call them when i got home to see if the figures came in but i was too tired. I'll be letting the thread know if i found them or not. I hope i dont find too much good stuff there cuz im a lil short and i dont get paid till friday.

Those are awesome! My bro got Kid Buu & SS Gotenks in one blind box. The other was SS Vegeto. I had no idea Unifive made characters from the Cell Saga too. At my comic shop, they were selling for 7.99 a piece, sure they look cool but its an expensive gamble if you get copies. I'm waiting for Bandai Gashapon seies 4. Now those not only look great but also are in bags not boxes.

Im not too sure which one is the rarest. I think theres only 4 to the eva series but Unit 01 with that new armor looks sweet.

Going of topic here a little but have you picked up the First Appearance BATMAN figure yet? I know your a Batman fan & this is a figure no Batman fan should go without. It's my fave Batman figure right now, even beating out the Silver Age Batman & HUSH Batman.

There's currently 5 series of the unifive posing figures. They usually have 1-2 articulations for their signature attacks. These are not bad at all. I bought a whole case just to get a set of the colored versions.

Mark u got things mixed up im a big batman fan chubs isnt too much into batman. I plan to check out that Batman tomorrow during my trip to the anime store. Just last sunday i picked up the batmobile from the first movie. I cant wait to see the batman from the new JLA series by Alex Ross i think or are they based on someone else? Cuz i know series 2 has Batman.

Yeah, get the FA Batman, he rocks. The cloth cape looks so fantastic graped over his shoulders.
Your right about the Alex Ross based BATMAN figure. He's in series 2. I'm not a big fan of his art tho. I wish the models he used for his paintings weren t all so fat looking. He paints beautifully but just uses the wrong models.
Did you hear about the proposed first appearance Nightwing figure by DCD. Along with the Modern Age BATGIRL & Silver Age Riddler.
DKR in a few more weeks too! Can t wait for those either.
