Umm, Stay Night definately, i doubt it's a resin ( i've never seen a paired resin set like this) From the way they fit each other i'd say a PVC of some kind. On the other hand the subject matter makes me think garage kit.

Old school haul... A 4-inch Kaiyodo/Studio Nue figure of a powered armour design for a 1985 anime production based on R. Heinlein's Starship Troopers novel. Picked him up on clearance for about $5. Price tag on the back says $24.95 and I've seen him go for as high as $29 some time ago ( ! ). Damn them import prices...

They released a boxed version (http://www.hlj.com/product/KYD51902) of this same figure which goes for about $60. Not sure why it's significantly more expensive. More die-cast parts perhaps? $60 for the same 1/20th scale unfortunately. Ouch! You're better off getting the 1/12th scale kit (http://www.hlj.com/product/WAVPS-01).

It's a nice little figure... mostly plastic with metal forearms and legs. Comes with alternate hands (one holding what appears to be an egg), extra pilot figure, removable head for the coc|<pit, and an old school ray gun.

He's got about 20 or so points of articulation but can't capitalize on most of it due to the armour and the joint design so unfortunately range of motion is fairly limited.

The original import prices are too steep but he's not a bad figure at all--- especially for $5. :D

You vastly overestimate the power of bondo. Bite the bullet and get a good copy. It's most likely a garage kit though, and you'll never see it released here or even by bootleggers in Thailand.

It's a resin model kit of Jin's Blodia! The page i found it on was a 'magnetic attachment' place that sells magnets, ad they just happen to use a Blodia model kit as one of the examples. http://www.grafx.pe.kr/magnet/exam/blodia.htm I stumbled onto this by accident. I have had ZERO luck in finding even a flimsy lead on where to find this kit. Can anyone help me? Know of a site that sells it? Can find it? I'd be in debt to you for life, as this is my 'grail' as many people say.

Preorder helps, but it also limits your options. Shipping a figure from overseas can tak less time than shipping on across the States. Japanese figures are usually worth the wait, unlike the American garbage.

I think your out of luck, Jin. From what i found it's from a 10 year old second-string Capcom fighting game. The kit may not be that old, but it's unlikely your gonna find one.

Besides, any game with a giant robotic Akuma should be shunned and forgotten. ;)

Yeah, although the Ibuki is a rather dynamic design, with the little spears stuck into her backpack while she's crouched as if she blocked them. Wasn't impressed with the rest, they don't really look like Kinu's artwork either.

First, Max Factory's Girl Fight figures 1/6 scale, about 40 bucks each. Due out in Janurary. Chun Li i can't say, she hasn't been listed with the other 2, but Deansta has her pre-ordered somewhere.


Oni Musume 2 repaint, due in Feburaury.

3rd is Miharu from Girls Bravo, Issued by Chara-Ani.com , it was released in July for about $50 USD, 4 3/4" (12cm) tall.

Meg from Bakuretsu Tenshi, 1/8 scale, by Alter, Due in Feburary. $35-40 range.

they had one marked as him and i in two chicks wieght test picked out an other one that wasnt marked. I was hoping it was max but my frist guess what right. Well the SF girls are 1/6 scale, So with that base of hers 12-14" tall for Chun Li.

I'd get some practice painting other figures before i dove into a kit. Of course there is nor real way to practice filling air holes and other spots, sanding and drilling holes unless your doing autobody work.

Well if ya get a really cheap on ( like the bootlegs from Thailand) they are cheap. Problem is that they ted to have lots of surface flaws and ill fit. My advice would be to pic up a cheap one to practice on. Naked ones have the advantage of having a few colors, but it'll give a chance to learn shading. That way ya don't have to shade complex clothing folds right away.

I haven't looked inside one but i think you can get 6-8 in the back of 21st Century's Half-track and German Skdfz. They also did a M-113A APC, that fit a few figures in the cab.

On the Joe front, the '83 A.P.C. and/or the '89 Night Scrambler (same mold) could work.

Not really. Troop carriers don't make for interesting vehicles. Your in a tough spot, coz with star wars unless it's already been made (At-At, Gunship) everything looks out of place without extensive modifications.
