I guess they couldn't bother to attempt to match the bookend Lilith's skintones. I kinda dig bondage-cross Lilith.

Also the coloring of the bookends isn't noticeable in person, I think the flash accentuates it.

The first is Poison, from Final Fight. It's a resin kit so you have to put it together. The second is Sera, also a resin kit, but Kotobukiya is putting out a 1/7 PVC version.

I'll keep an eye out for a single carded pilot for ya Mifune. It'll most likely be a 21st Century Corsair pilot. Though i think a Stuka pilot would look better in the Sky Captain P-40.

Have you seen 21st's 144 scale tanks? 1.79 each, and god am i tempted to build a Panzer divison.

Heh, i love 1/18 scale. I would have prefered a Stuka D. I love the look of the 37 mm anti-tank cannon slung under the wings.

The little black square above the main bomb on the centerline is actually a window. You can see through it and look at the pilot and vice versa.

It's out of the way there, and unlikely to get damaged when the plane is being climbed on. Lots of aircraft even today have antennae and sensor apparatus on the under-carriage

America's would most likely be the P-51D. England's is the Supermarine Spitfire, Mk. IX. (IMO) The whole Spifire family were superb, except for the Mk.I's diving problem.

Germany is tough. Their two main fighters wer both spectacular. The ME-109 and variants and the FW-190 and it's family were more than a match for Allied fighters. They lacked the range though, and by the time of D-day most of Germany's veteran pilots were dead.

I'd say in the end the 190 was superiour to the 109. As much as i love the 190 family i'd probably be correct in saying that the Mustang was superior, if for nothing more than that it was more forgiving to the novice pilot.

It wont. The exposed parts of the skin will be using that cheap shiny unpainted skin toned plastic instead of actually being painted. The figures lose to much sculpt detail when they make the figures with that cheap crap.

Yeah, In my opinion it was the best quality American made series in regards to plot and animation. Even if some of the episodes were animated by a Japanese animation team.

Her name is Miu, and she is from the anime/manga Ichigo Mashimaro.

This series has had many magazine exclusive releases, so i can imagine it being one of those.
