ya i'm not gonna check for the inuyasha figs for another couple of weeks...i'm gonna start looking for the avp figs next week...i ran into a mandarin spawn tonite at walmart...it was the only spawn reborn 2 left at walmart i guess sumone put it sumwhere else so its harder to find...but i didnt buy it cuz i dont buy mcfarlane stuff...cept ive kinda wanted a mandarin spawn...cuz i love the design...

i dont have any pred figures cuz i really didnt like the others that much, but when i saw these i knew i was going to get them all. the only i know sure ill open of the 3 will be scar and the other 2 will go on my wall somewhere. hmmm im going to have to figure that out.

Regarding the Inu Yasha figures, don't start looking for them for at least a month. If they still haven't hit Canada then that means it'll be a while before they come to US shores. I think the reason is that US Customs has been really tighting security for all imported goods. Same reason why Marvel Legends has been out for months overseas & most recently in Canada while the US has yet to have one sighting.
I'm not too bummed about the delayed figures though. I need to take a break from figure collecting. It seems that I can't go out once without buying some Anime related figure. It's getting out of hand, plus all the DC Direct figures along with ML. TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!
I need to step back & say to myself, "Do I really need all this stuff?".
I have no room anymore & all these little figures add up quickly money wise.
Hmmm, I wonder what the future will hold for me regarding figures ...

Your right Vegeta, we all need a break ever once in a while.
Look at the action figure lines I collect:
DC Direct:
any BATMAN related figures, Superman, JLA & whom ever else catches my eye. By far the most expensive figure line I collect at 17.99 a figure. I have well over 70 now.
Animated DC Comics figures:
Mattel debuted a ton of new figures to coincide with the debut of JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED
Mattel BATMAN:
Only but new characters & not repaints but still difficult to find. Next are Bane & Scarecrow.
Marvel Legends:
Great value but they take up a lot of space, and some sculpts constitute buying doubles to keep MIB. This also includes SPIDERMAN Classics figures.
Dragonball Z:
The biggest chunk of my collection. Good thing that Jakks has the license now because all they make are crappy sculpts & repaints of crappy sculpts. Now, it's most all import figures for DBZ.
Other Anime:
Trigun
Cowboy Bebop
Cyborg 009
Samurai X /Kenshin
Yu Yu Hakusho
Witch Hunter Robin
Inu Yasha
Gundam
Big O
Akira
The worst part about Anime figures is not knowing a lot of figures exist for these shows & when I do find out they made figures of a certain series, I'm usually a few years behind. That means spending more for older collectibles. Any one of these Animes can make a whole collection by its self, so imagine trying to collect for all these different shows. Like i said beofre, TOO MUCH!!!!!!!
Plus, what other Animes are out there that I ve yet to watch?

Its nice to see another Yu Yu Hakusho fan. Too bad about Jakks now going to make 5" figures instead of the 7". I was a big fan of the 7" and the 5" figures look like crap

Wow just wow. Thats a HUGE list u got there i would say mine is about half not icluding all the dvds i buy. I have Transformers, any Batman figure that looks good cuz i only buy that character i dont care too much for owning the rest. like that new ML style Batman thats coming out next year i think or late this year. i want that one the DKR batman, the new Alex Ross one, still need to get the Hush one, FA one and so on. Then any anime figures that comes out that i want which isnt much. Wolverine MLs only and thats all i can think of right now.

CC, honestly I usually don t get a whole figure line but I get doubles or sometime triples of my fave figs from a line. Like i have 3 HUSH BATMAN cause I like the sculpt.
Your right Vegeta, lots of cool BATMAN figures out there. DKR the whole line looks awesome.
Hakusho, sucks about YYH line, look at what they did with the DBZ movie collection, nothing put repaints & bad sculpts.
yeah guys, I do collect a lot of lines, my brother actually has an almost identical collection like mine because we like the same stuff. He just buys DVDs on top of his figure collecting. Now he is the crazy one, lol.

well the others in the series go for $50 to up to $70. but Unit 01 is the one that costs the most since he's a bit harder to find.

oh serious? ya nething with "diecast" on it raises the value up like 50 bucks haha...i personally like the kaiyodo ones...but 10-12 inches isnt bad but i dont really like diecast on it unless its a transformer or sumthing that transforms like the macross i'll b getting ...hopefully soon...its been over 2 weeks and the wolfwood hasnt come in yet

well i won the bid bout july 6...and payed on like the 16 or so...well my friend usually gets the items in late i dunno y...he ordered a wallscroll b4 that and it jus came in this week so ya...i jus dont wanna wait so long..the wolfwood i can wait cuz i already have 2...jus make sure that i'm gonna get it in the end haha but i wanna get my YF-21 soon...cuz i'm gonna open that one up...like i said nething that transforms must come out of the box...unless same thing was with my guingrave happens...if it looks too good in the box he'll stay in there haha

Same with me Lain my want list has gotten bigger, but today it shrunk by one figure. Cuz today i went out and bought MP Optimus Prime. This is the sweetest fig ive ever owned. Is done so great i like this better than Grave.

dude ! that batman fig rocks ! I stoped collecting superhero figs a little while ago, but that one is awfully tempting ...;) i like the multiple posed hands that are found in other various japanese figs, very clever. :D

prime is way to sweet to keep in the box. i took him out and he's with his autobots. everything about this figure is cool but man that lil light in him is so bright. took me awhile to figure out how to pose so he doesnt look like he is going to fall over. that and what weapons he should be holding.
yea that microman batman is pretty sweet. may just order him or just get the 2 pack not to sure yet but ill see within these next 2 weeks to make up my mind.

ya the optimus is sweet i jus have him in that "hero" pose nothing big or nething simple look legs kinda spread apart...looking to the side and holding the gun...and cuz of the metal in his legs its like a 1/20 chance he'll fall over...and ive bumped my dresser alot too haha...ya i turned off the light and turned on the matrix light and its pretty bright...cept the bulb is small so u cant use him as a flash light...ya that batman looks nite i like the colors they used for him...and the multiple hands that come with him

yup thats kinda how i have prime posed, but i also had him hold the megatron gun in his other hand. then i decided to remove it and just make a fist an hold his own gun. i tried to transform him but couldnt get the legs to slide up. so there he is surrounded with the other autobots and my old powermasters prime.

i saw this really really nice statue of keaton or kilmer i couldnt remember...but it was really nice they got the face perfect the suit perfect and the pose perfect n everything...and with prime hes a very durable figure so u trying pushing harder n u may be able to transform the legs

ya i saw it at a comic store so i cant really send u a pic of it or nething...but ya the optimus is ALOT easier to transform than smokescreen...i didnt have a hardtime with it at all...i jus want a perfect starscream now...or a hot rod...cuz hot rod looks like he wouldnt b too hard to turn into a masterpiece...but i dont think theyre gonna continue with the line cuz they only mp prime to commemorate the 20th anniversary

yeah, I collect star wars figs. I used to buy lots when I was a kid, and play with them . I still collect a few here, and there, but its been a long time since i last picked any sw fig up.

chubs do you have any tips on where one can still find the metallic re-paint version of asuka's red 02 eva ? Ive looked everywhere, and its really bugged me, lol :D

Grrrrrrrrrr.... my bro made the same mistake I did last week, He tried his luck at the Neon Genesis Evangelion blind box figures. And guess what? Same friggin one I got last week!!!!!!!!!
But this one is different, he has a different color scheme. Anyone know if he's rare or not?
We might want to trade those two figures for some other Anime related figure if anyone is interested. Let me know.

no the stand that is suppose to go on scars base is canceled mcf has no plans watsoever over releasing them...i guess they didnt have time or wanna spend more money to resculpt the base

i think the unmasked one will b out later on...like the t3 figs...they had a normal face arnold then a month or so later the one with the really scarred face came out so i'm thinking unmasked scar will b in a month or so...and no i'm not getting the elder...never liked the elder ever sinced tehy released photos of him...and i saw the actual product at the a store today and his face looks like it collapsed or sumthing

wow i sure have been gone for awhile, but its great to see some new people posting. too all new ones here to the anime thread i say Welcome!!!! Chubs glad to here u got ur figures. right now there is just too much to read. Work has been keeping me away but that doesnt mean ive forgotten about the thread. Glad to see its still up. Ill be back on tonight to see whats up since its my day off tomorrow i dont need to sleep early. Chubs, Lain, Anime freak and everyone else thanks for keeping this up.
