nope the gynastic r a bit smaller than ren and it all depends on u if shes worth $55........of course she retails for only $30+ but after all the shipping fees the value of her becomes quite a blur. personally i think she is, cuz shes the first detailed fig wit all the female characteristics that ive seen. im pretty sure u wont be disspointed.

Yeah, I've noticed you don't like the Gundams. I don't blame you.......most of them look boring displayed, some are really kool though! The fun part is building them and then later...showing them off! Other than that, they really aren't that great! :p

I finally got my grail for Xmas and this is the next biggest thing on my list to get. I regret not getting it back when Diamond offered it in 2004.

It's only 8" tall and it was $64.99US when Diamond offered it. I really didn't have the money at the time so that's why I passed.

On a sidenote, the new King of Fighters episode starred Rock Howard. It was only like 7minutes long though. Animation was done by Production I.G, the people who did Ghost in the Shell . If any of you happen to like KOF then pm me and I'll send you a link for it.

Dann of Thursday is from the series Gun X Sword, a slightly tongue-in-cheek, western/sci-fi themed anime show about the adventures of a wandering drifter with a mysterious past named Van who is somehow in control of one of the most powerful mecha on the planet: Dann.

He's accompanied by a girl named Wendy, who's on a quest to find the man who murdered her brother. Van's the loner type and the only reason he lets Wendy tag along is that the murderer of Wendy's brother may also have been the man who murdered Van's wife.

The backdrop of the story the planet "Endless Illusion" where virtual anarchy reigns (typical lawless Wild West set-up) and mecha are fielded by the very few who have the resources and skills to maintain and use them.

While the production values are fairly high, the show itself is rather derivative and unfortunately suffers from the "villain of the week" formula. I only got partway through season 1, then lost interest. Maybe it'll get better second season--- if it sees a second season.

IIRC, Dann is housed in some sort of unmanned orbital station (origin unknown) and when summoned by Van, Dann is dropped from orbit into the theatre of operations in sword form before switching to humanoid form upon reaching the battlefield.

The now defunct British outfit The Verve sampled an orchestration on their song "Bittersweet Symphony" from The Rolling Stone's "The Last Time". Before the release of the album, The Verve negotiated a licensing agreement with The Rolling Stones to use the sample -- at least the composition rights to the sample. In 1997, The Verve's album "Urban Hymns" peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Charts. What ensued was a bitter (and not sweet) legal battle resulting in The Verve turning over 100% of the royalties to the Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones argued that The Verve had violated the previous licensing agreement by using too much of the sample in their song. The Verve argued that The Rolling Stones got greedy when the song became successful. Herein lies the issue of moral rights of a samplist.

"The last thing I ever wanted was for my music to be used in a commercial. I'm still sick about it", The Verve's lead singer Richard Ashcroft said in a recent interview. So, that's exactly what Rolling Stones manager Allen Klein did. Capitalizing off the success of the song, Klein licensed The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" to Nike, who proceeded to run a multi-million dollar television campaign using The Verve's song over shots of its sneakers. Klein also used the song to hawk Vauxhall automobiles. Additionally, though the song was authored by The Rolling Stones, the Andrew Loog Oldham Orchestra performed the sampled recording and also filed suit upon the success of the song. (Herein lies a fine caveat to license both the recording and composition rights from whomever maintains them.) To add even more insult to injury, when "Bittersweet Symphony" was nominated for a Grammy, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were named the nominees and not The Verve. What could be more "Bittersweet" than your song reaching the top of the charts and not being able to enjoy a cent of its success?

hahaha ya i saw that on the history channel, if i remember correctly, the only reason that sherman tanks wouldve won any battle was becuz of their number, not the tanks itself

Later models were fitted with a high-velocity 76mm gun, so that helped, plus the British had a version called the Firefly that had an even bigger gun.

But the early models with just the 75mm were pathetic. Their rounds simply bounced of the German tank hulls.

Nope, it's a 6' stand that'll hold about 10 planes. They're just taking surveys on it at the moment.
Oh, i'd becareful with the landing gear on the 40, 21st planes have been known to break a gear. I had to do a repair on the gear on my 190.

well my 190 is doing just fine, but ive got one question, is the rear landing gear to suppose to retract and lock into place? my retracts but its loose as hell. and by breaking how do they break?

well i figured we'll be cing the maid in heaven fig in a coupla month anyways and that has the best pair of rack ive ever seen on a fig. and having it, i can do away wit sum of the old stuff.............and im thinking about getting rid of this too...........not sure yet tho

Well i'm out for the night, open the Stuka, it's girth is most impressive.

Plus the pilots come with air masks, holsters and a stand. You have to draw your own little Luftwaffe eagles on them though.

The rear on mine doesn't retract. The pegs on them tend to be brittle, and will break similarly to how your .50 did today.

yo imp i just opened the stuka and found it to be quite bomb-diggity. but putting it together was ****ing hell..........all the parts cliped in quite nicely, except for the left wing, which refused to yield to my enormous strength:D after fooling around wit it for half an hour.........yes half an hour, (i didnt wanna break the damn thing) i finally put the damn thing together. quite impressive it is. i think now i mite be on a stuka hunt rage.:mad:

While I'm no authority, I'd say it is supposed to pivot, as it would on a real plane, so the tail follows the nose when it turns on the ground.

i can c y this box set was so expensive, and to me, i like it a lot. this is prolly one of the best box sets ive seen. there r boxes within boxes. for example, the doll's box was within a box and there r two flap on each end of the doll box so that you can take the doll box out with ease using the two flaps.

The rear MG in the Stuka was for the radio operator to provide covering fire. The Stuka wasn't particularly agile or fast.

The Stuka that 21st sells has the 550 lb main bomb, with the four 110 lb bombs on the wings. MG-15 in the greenhouse and a MG-17 in each wing.
