Yeah, I hear ya. I started watching it with my son when they first started selling the DVD's with the english dub. That made that set even more important for me to get. It's funny. The Ippo, the Wonderfest vash and wolfwood and a particular football jersey all took me years to find. But once I did, I found multiples of each.

Hey, guys... Been a slooooow month for me regarding anime collectibles.

My latest acquisition: Kureha (Kotobukiya) 12" PVC statue

I figured since Rachel is on the way, might as well try and score all the Ninja Gaiden females. :D

Picked it up for a bit over $20 (Cdn) delivered, the inexpensive price was due to a damaged box. I'm an opener so no big deal there.

Thankfully, her robes weren't cast in one solid piece with a pair of feet stuck to the bottom. Kureha's a completely modeled figure (including sculpted underwear) under her robes, which is good. You get your money's worth then.

She normally sells for $60 around here, before taxes. I don't think I would have paid that much for her but for $20, you can't go wrong.

If you want to uses the Round 1 versions you'll have some trouble. It's just a matter of how badly you want to make customs of characters that were never really depictied that way.

It's not worth all that to me. Opening MOC figures, then finding someone to do it. Then shipping it to them. Then waiting. Then them shipping it back. Then I have 2 loose figures with nowhere to put them. I liked the idea of just being able to buy them, keep them MOC then putting them up on the wall.

Anyways, enough of that, they aren't doing it, so screw'em. They shoulda got the permission before they sent out emails and put up preorders.

$40 includes shipping both ways. Unfortunately, with the sports customs I've had done, they were a bit more than that. $40 is just a guess assuming I could find someone to do it. Point is, no way to keep that MOC and it would cost enough more money that it wouldn't be worth it for me.

im not a huge fan of that Ohno simply becuase she is in the full getup, and most may not 'get' the whole idea that she is cosplaying. part of the reason i like the 'changing' one as well.

I dont like it as much as the other (sitting down) one. this facial expression is SO the opposite of Saki and how she would be in that situation. It doesnt really resemble the manga/anime art either, which the last one did a much better job at.
