Hey whats the difference between gashapons and trading arts?

Ok, a gashapon is a small toy that comes in a capsule. Akin to the quarter/.50 cent machines here in America. The term gashapon (Gachapon in Japanese) derives from the sound a machine makes when it dispenses a capsule. In general they run anywhere from 100-300 Yen, or roughly $1USD-$3USD.

A trading figure comes in a box, like gashapon you don't know what you are gonna get until you open it. They tend to be larger, and of a higher quality than gasha. They tend to run 300-750 Yen range. If you hear the term "One Coin" it probably refering to a 500 Yen set.

Shokugan are just like trading figures, but come with candy.

hobbyfan.com is where I have her pre-ordered. They weren't as bad as other places I scoped out. Other places were charging $65 to $69! If this hadn't been a birthday gift, I would have simply gone without. But since someone else was picking up the tab...

There's always the kit version, which is more work but isn't a bad alternative.

Hold on, i'll show you the "short list" It's obvious what isn't gonna get made, and the left overs are......interesting.

A6M5( or 2, i can't recall), ME-109, and any of the Bombers are almost assuredly out. That leaves us the 262 and the Fighters.


They are also supposed to be doing a no-paint Saber, so you can do your own paint scheme. Limited to 100, i think.

I'm not sure. i know that there was a 2-seater Nachtjager version. ( The B-1a).

I know i've seen them in the white/grey mottled camo of night fighters. It's not a hard custom. Flat black the entire plane, then do some red pannel lines. The hard part is doing the radar antennae array on the nose.

o as for the gunships ya can still find them fairly cheap on bay, i remember about 3-4 months ago it was going for $80, musta been short supplied or something, since all the gunships that i found was about two weeks after the mid night maddness and i havent seen them since about a month or 2 ago, there were popping up at TRU.

or ya can get that new gunship for the clone wars cartoon................from wut i saw, theres a coupla new clones, which seems to be a at-rt driver in blue, and possibly an articulated arc trooper (YAY!)

thx imp, and yes sir, the AT-RT driver is the one with the mini gun but the ones u get now are green and their hands r **** and theres no minigun...........but it seems that they have fixed the ****ty hands for this blue repaint with a new body. i guess they just did a head swap wit a clone commander

o i do like the gunship, and i do agree wit u that the size its too small, the dammest thing is that they havent make a decent sized bubble turret that can be mounted on the gunship and having a troop operating it.

no, seriously the arc 170 is cheaply made, theres a pistol grip on the bottom which has a trigger is used to open a little hatch which drops torpedos. but when the pistol grip is deployed, even the slightest movement will cause the torpedos to drop. and the slot for droids on the top of the fighter is useless, it doesnt hold the driod down.

She'll likely be smaller. Their Nanase Ren is about 4" tall, but if she were standing she'd be about ML scale (smaller figures).

And i repaired it, but it has other things about it that i can't fix. A small sword is different than a 1:18 scale plane.

Might i suggest you look into building a new canopy? Or gluing the old one and hanging it from the ceiling?

ha! if i can build a new canopy i wont even bother to post about it here. and im not about to throw it away, im simply gonna put it back in the box and possibly sell it later on. for me, i despise broken toys, i absolutely hate it, (and hate it even more when they come broken due to quality control....etc:mad: ) thats y most of my mcf stuff is mib, i only open the ones i really want to display, but now my mentality for mcf toys is that theres always a risk of their stuff come broken, so i usually buy 3 of the character that im gonna open (that sorta explains y i buy so many multiples, but of course, there is no excuse for corpse bride or sum of them japanese stuff that i buy:p ) sure, i can fix broken stuff. but it just doesnt feel the same. im sure many peeps would call that stupidity, but i look at toys in a different perspective. i like them to be close to perfect as possible:D
