Ewoks would have been dust. Lucas put them in as a kid-friendly plot device.

Actually......quite a lot of Ewok died. One of them died every 30 seconds during the battle, if not more. ;)

Yep, I'm one of the biggest Star Wars geeks imaginable. I read up on almost everything about SW and I watch the movies and take them in not only visually but theoretically and logically. :)

They still would have been only a handfull of units against an entire civilization of Ewoks. Granted they wouldn't have lost as bad.....they still would have been defeated by the Ewoks and their suprise attack and the quick actions of the Rebel forces. :D

ya i just emailed the seller, but i am pretty certain that its 1/6 scale. since DID only does 1/6 scale stuff. i got a 82nd airborne fig from DID and the details r pretty damn amazing, the bullet belt is actually made of cloth!

My gasha haul for the day. My gawd, I can't believe I actually bought gashapons. I always disliked tiny stuff.

These things are so small(the tallest being 4"),they've got extra accessories like scarfs, extra heads, swords, sash, clogs, sake bottle, knive.

All these are meant as part of the characters alternate costumes.

The good thing is, usually you gotta hunt for all the variants, the Nina with the cat mask, the Yoshimitsu with the horn, but this time around, they are all included.

The set comes in two colours, original Tekken 5 or Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection colours.

But you know what, I did have some fun piecing the small pieces together, despite my hatred for tiny stuff.
I found figuring out which pony tail for XiaoYu was left or right challenging. Is this one left, or this one right....hmmmmm....then there were other crap like that piece of metal like thing that I couldn't figure out where it goes on Yoshi.

The figures come with hexagonal bases. The Tekken Words are imprinted on them. It's a shame they didn't add colour to the base. Most of the figures were meant to be displayed with the extra accessories. Hence if you don't plug in that big sake bottle on Heihachi's back, you have a tiny hole on his back.

The Tekken 5 gashas come in two colours. Ori Tekken 5 colour and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection colour. :)

im a huge fan of him, especially sonny chiba's interpretation of him. while i havent seen all of the jubei movies yet, i must say makai tensho is one of the best samurai films out there

and i just won this on da bay
total is about $200 flat

a bit crazy i know, but hes one of the first figure that was produced alfrex, and limited to 1500 pieces. he retails for about $140-160 so its really not that bad.

ya "makai tensho". hes actually one of the 12" fig that i want bad but had no luck getting. i was all hyped up into the 70s samurai films about 2 yrs ago and had gotten quite a bit of alfrex figs. but eventually my hobby shifted into another direction (anime:) ) and my hunt for him came to a stop. now to think about it, i dun even remember how i came across this auction, but im damn glad i did!!!:D :D damn, i mite havta get back into collecting samurais again.:(

ya they r all limited, but the quantity varies from fig to fig, usually about 1000-1500. and all of them r handmade:eek: i actually have medicoms version of jubei from makai tensho 2000, but i know it doesnt compare to alfrex's version. plus, hes not sonny chiba:p

medicom fujiko mine.....yep MEDICOM fujiko mine, guess even a company thats known to have outstanding quality, there are still a few bad apples one cant avoid. the first fujiko mine fig i got came wit a stick joint, and i almost broke it when i tried to twisted around. now its just hanging there by a thin piece of plastic

Yeah, Kaiyodo is bad. Especially the Fei Yen from Virtual On. I'm pretty pissed about Kenshiro breaking as well. The only thing on my 1/18 scale stuff that broke as a result of bad manufacturing was the gear on my 190. All my other breaks wer from falls.

ya virtual fig also pisses me off, especially their apharmd fig, there r 3 versions and the version wit the double uzi is one of the most sought after virtual on figs, apparently genious at kaiyodo thinks its ok to put figs in plastic trays that makes the fig almost impossible to take out, and put a fragile as hell plastic piece as an antenna on apharmds head. when u put them together, u get a broken fig rite outta the package. im surprised at the kenshiro tho, did that occur when u were trying to change his head? mines pretty sturdy except that spear he came wit broken when i dropped it.:(

so how do ya cope wit broken toys?:confused:
