Yup animefreak it was Optimus Prime that i got last week. my local shop got in the AVP figs so i might go buy 2 tomorrow.

man Lain i just hate waking up at 4:30am no matter how early i go to sleep im still tired. but its money so im not complaining......too much

...so tired...i drove around for 2 hours straight looking for more avp figs...checked 2 walmarts...1 TRU and my near by comic store...nothing...the comic store had the aliens left but i bought the last pred the other nite...gonna start the hunt again next week

well not everyone has a digicam so they cant post that theyre figs r breaking...one person who lives in the same city as me had his celtic pred broken rite after he took it out...he said the arms fell off...and another had the legs broken...n a couple other incidents...i dont doubt them either cuz mcfarlane is crap that y i said the alien vs predator line will b my last mcfarlane stuff

so i went on another hunt today seeing as i usually do groceries for myself on saturdays...i sound old...haha but ya so i figured i would go on another quick lil hunt...so i went to west edmonton mall...thats the largest mall in the world...checked out 1 comic store all they had left was a scar pred...checked out a hobby store that jus opened there that only sells domestic toys like star wars, mcfarlane and so on...nothing...and i checked this big coin and stamp collectable which carries like the MOST mcfarlane stuff ive ever seen...like this store could b renamed mcfarlane...but no dice...they only had everything released up to monsters 3 and alien/predator rehash...i checked out walmart...nothing...i went to my nearby TRU...i pull into the parking lot and its packed today i thought it was either a sale or people really wanted their avp figs haha there was a huge line up then theres me walking to the back of the line...n i'm like the only one who doesnt kno wats going so i asked the security guard wats going on and he jus looks at me and a lil kids like "CRISTIANS HERE" so it turns out christian frum WWF or WWE watever it calle dnowadays was signing autographs there today...so i walked back to my car and went home ahha...damn i hope they didnt get avp there today too....otherwise christian will pay

lolol wesyt edmonton mall huh....now i kno where u live!!! i remember when we went to canda last summer, mty dads like "this is the biggest mall in the world mario".........thats so cool...i live by second biggest(mall of america), so yeayh i live in minnesota...i got a small haul today, i got red kanchi(FLCL) from kaiyodo, at a suncoast movie store, i got a 12 inch pred at toys r us, and i got a stealth pred(u can never have too many steath preds) at sam goody thats my 3rd stealth pred, andim not gonna take this one out of the box, my other 2 are out so im keepin this one in... and i got a pred 2 mini bust, and a elder pred mini bust(elder pred from pred 2, not hooker version from avp)....id show u all but sadly...no digi cam

no luck with figures on todays shopping expedition, but i did have quite a videogame haul, i got way of the samurai 2 for ps2, and preordered fable for xbox and got a excl. dvd for doing it so all in all it was a good day :)

yes this is still an anime thread chubs just seems it went off track thanks to AVP. I didnt get much this weekend except a Celtic Pred, a 1:16 scale Batman on Batcycle at TRU. Went to Anime Planet and picked up Haruko from FLCL and the Gungrave Soundtrack.

Lain i cant remember who made the small unit 02 but the only thing i remember is that its from series 2 or 3 from the set.

thanks for the tip on that eva 02 fig vegeta, I thought it was pretty cool for a 4in fig to even have some articulation as it does, may have to get it ;) anyways, i was soo shocked at what i saw a red eva 02 kaiyodo repaint priced at - $43.00 I was so disapointed, I was thinking that it wouldnt be over $30.00, boy was i shocked. It lead me to 1 conclusion- since soc eva's are my fav I might as well start collecting them. :D

yeah, its only like 4.5 inches or so, but in a way that would be cool for me, because I have a kawasaki ninja on my tv stand around the same scale in the photo, and I could pose her with it just like in the photo ! it will rock ! :D

for the wolfwood fig there are several online anime shops like - http://www.import-action.com/trigacfig.html , or ebay is pretty good on wolfwood figs

that evangelion fig you put on ur want list animefreak, is from the bandai soul of chogokin series, which is prob my fav eva fig, and as i have found very costly around $100.00 usually :(

well currently I have no eva figs :( I was looking for the eva 02 repaint metallic version, which is both very hard to find nemore, and when u do find it, it goes for around $43.00 bucks like the last time i saw it . the normal eva figs (non repaint) are still kinda hard to piece together , i mean its tuff to even find a basic eva 01 ! i considered everything, and I think im gonna try to collect the soc series since im really into them neways . chubs, are u referring to the repackaged repainted ones with metallic paint ?

Lain those are words i have been living by for sometime now. If u like, want and have the cash for it then buy it now! which is why now i try to carry atleast $50 with me when i go to stores cuz ive missed a few good items and i didnt have enough cash. As Chubs would know one of those figures i missed out on was the FFX 12in Lulu figure. another figure i missed out was getting Lina Inverse from Slayers. and i agree with Chubs one buying ur fave 1st then get everything else cuz thats how i buy. when the repackaged Eva's came out i bought Unit 01 then the next day i bought both 00's, 02, 03 and 04. like i bought Wolfwood before i ever got a vash, Zero Custom b4 the other gundams and so on.

I was stuck between the 01 and 02. now im liking the blue 00 an awful lot , hahaha , i still may get the 01 to go along with the 02 depending on my cash flow, lol ive been reading on various online stores that 01, and 02 are going to be re-released soetime late this month, if so it should lower those prices again, in fact u can preorder the 01 for like 59.99 . :D

lol, the eva downed me $74.30 shipped and insured, steep i know, but cheap compared to what i saw them go for elsewhere , i saw one site that acually still had the 02 in stock for like 89.99 or so. yeah the wait gets me antsy, but when that package comes, a great nostalgic sense overwhelms me, lol :D

thanks vegeta for clearing things up about the zero custom.zero custom is the coolest gundam i have ever owned and seen, yea it was *** that the guy woulndt sell it, the funny thing is it was never for sale, it was jsut for a showcase at the comic shop, but luckily the guy i kno there(dads friend) dint kno it wasnt for sale, and hes like hmmm ill sell it to u for a hundred, so i bought it instantly, probly the most expensive thing in my collection , too bad u passed up on the arch-enenmy zero. i have the talgesse its kickass,and congrats lain on ur new purchasethanks !

thats cool chubs, and yea the guy at the shop that sold it to me told my dad his boss was pissed, but went easy on him becus he dint kno, and by that time i was hlfway done withthe model, it took me bout 4 days to build (with breaks of course) that was like over 700 peices,, but it was fun, and i havent gone around to painting it, becaus eim afraid to ruin it, but i guess i might soon, my frined ryan has special thin pointed markers for paintin gundams
oh i c , man o man, im glad u dont have to paint my eva comin in, and i can only hope its not diffulcult to put together, lol hope the instructions either have detailed pics, or are english also, cant read japanese ! lol

b4 i got my display case i had them all on top of my dresser in a battle it was G Gundam/ Gundam Wing vs. Evangelion. my g gundams are the 7in figures and my Wings are the models except for my arch enemy series Tallgesse and Zero Custom. it was a nice display with EVA's ripping out the arms to my models, but then i got my case and now they all have their own shelf. except at times i do move Prime and my 12in Wing and pose them fighting each other.:)
