A quick question for you anime buff out there....Did Oh My Goddess redo that series? I've been collecting the dvd's that are just coming out. Thing is I saw this video:

and I've never seen like any of the scenes yet and i'm on the 4th dvd of the series. Are these eps from a lot later or from a different/original series if there was one?

it was back when i think the studio doing it or someone didnt have enough money to invest in a full series or something, so they only did 5 episodes. it was good, but it just seemed like a small chapter, and left fans dying for more. there was also a movie at one point, and some scenes could be from that as well.

they should be available pretty much anywhere on DVD. Bestbuy, Amazon, etc. They just re-released the DVDs a year or two ago.

Yeah, I guess they did tweak the Raoh with new articulation so that he can sit on the horse. So Kokuoh-go is much bigger than the previous old boxed set one I assume?

i think dreamwave did a better job with akuma, because they really brought out akuma's essence

I like both versions for different reasons...

I'd say as an overall, I'd go with the SOTA :)

HD is nice because it is able to hadouken pose and has cool energy effects, but it has close to zero leg articulation and the head is ugly and the paint is sloppy.

The SOTA version suffers from not being able to do a hadouken pose, and it is kind of small IMO
