Well, so far so good already 5 guys.

Chris, I thought about the duplicate card thing, and really realized, that especially for Tim, who only God knows how many Turco cards he's got ;) , someone who got him, would maybe try and get him Ryan Miller, or Pascal Leaclaire, who he doesn't have as much of them. Thats why I wanted a larger lsit of players, instead of just 1 main one. Everything should work out.

Another thing too, since I will hopefully be the only one who knows everyone's person. I can definetely be a mediator. For instance, if someone wnated to know of the person already had "so and so" card, they could ask me, and I will ask there person. That way, you can find out whther or not the person has the card without revealing to anyone who they have.

I think this will work out. I am quite sure that everyone that posts on this board consistently, is reliable, so I don't think we should worry.

Please remember to send me addresses, and player lists before Monday, so I can give everyone a good 1 month to get the gifts

Hey guys, I bought 8 packs of Pacific hockey cards for 2005 and then decided not to collect em. So I have a ton of commons and a few inserts. Got a nice Kovalev jersey card in my very first pack so I was excited. But no other jerseys. Other inserts are of Luongo "In the Crease", Hasek "Philadelphia" card (I don't quite get that series), and a Sakic All-star card (pacific all stars #3). Looking to trade em for 2004 Playoff Absolute and Playoff Prestige Football cards. Or any insert cards from other series or years that are of Steelers or AZ Cardinals. Will also trade the commons for commons from any series of Phoenix Coyotes. Thanks.

Oh ya! I was told that by my supplier! Has there been another one since the Mario cover? The Barrie/ Sault Saint Marie game was great! The Colts pulled the goalie down one with a minute to go, and scored as the clock expired. Upon review, they ruled no goal as time ran out, but the place went wild for a bit! Not a whole lot of talent on either team that stood out, IMO, but I got to see my neighbours two kids play! They are both sons of former Leaf defenseman Greg Hotham! :D

Just won an auction for a 62-3 Zip contest card. The card's filled out, but hey it only cost a penny, and these cardsrarely appear on the market.

Only drawback is the seller didn't list a price for Canadian shipping. If it turns out to be a ton more expensive than US shipping, I'll just ask him to send the card to a freind of mine in the States who is sending me a package anyways.

I'm back in town for one night. (I've been working in a small town 1hr SW of Winnipeg lately...) I found a dollar store that sold blister packs of Hockey cards for 1.50 or 2.00 each. I bought some 02,03,04 packs of Pacific, Head's Up, Adrenaline. UD, Calder. Titainium, etc. I pulled Peca, Richter, and Osgood jersey cards. Not bad for a dollar store!

its just curtious to list what your looking for , it makes it alot easier and makes people more apt to want to work with you .

Sorry I don't but I also could through in a few commons of Jay B, Weiss and a couple other guys. I collected the 2 for a bit then we sold our condo in Florida so I was withing walking distance of the Panthers practice facility.
I could do that, Im looking i guess for quantity right now, try to make it have bulk so I am willing to continue it. Im thinking that my Aebischer RC collection could land me Many Weiss cards. Let me make sure that Bouwmeester4 isnt set on getting it, he didnt have much to offer for it.

It's nice to have a jersey card or stick card, but I'm too spoiled and can get the actual jersey or stick if I wanted. Bouw has been spray painting his Easton stick because these RBK sticks are absolute crap. Anyway, ill let you know soon. I also may need some of those ahl golds too. Ill be in touch.

What you don't understand is some people do not check this board religiously like others. I had no clue that Tim was bidding on this until 2 p.m. my time today The Auction had been over for 2 hours at this point. I placed the bid at 5 a.m. my time after i came home from work and before i went to school. I'm not the bad guy, no one emailed me saying "Hey do not bid on this card."

SWEET REDEMPTION! ANNOUNCING OUR REDEMPTION PROGRAM AT THE 2004 TORONTO FALL EXPO

We are pleased to announce details of our Wrapper Redemption Program at the upcoming Toronto Fall Expo taking place from November 12 to 14 at the International Centre. This time, the emphasis will be placed entirely on the new 2004-05 In The Game Heroes & Prospects brand.
Collectors who purchase packs and/or boxes of this product at the Expo can open them at the In The Game booth. In exchange for the wrappers, they will receive special foil-stamped cards from the 180-card Heroes & Prospects base set. A 20-card non-memorabilia insert set entitled Top Prospects Game will also be incorporated in the promotion. Each of these cards will be sequentially numbered to 10. Collectors will receive one card per wrapper.

The cards will feature a unique foil stamp on each day of the show. A minimum of 2,000 cards will be issued on each of those days. Special "one-of-one" versions of these cards will feature unique gold foil stamping and will be mixed in among the cards numbered to 10 on all three days of the show.

As in previous shows, collectors will also have the option of receiving a special foil-stamped game-used memorabilia insert from Heroes and Prospects instead of the cards stamped out of 10. Each is stamped "1/1" and can be acquired by opening two sealed Hobby Boxes of Heroes & Prospects.

No other boxes of In The Game, Be A Player or Parkhurst products will be eligible for this program.

I am going to the card show, but I think I will stick with Upper Deck redemptions. I absolutely hate those stamped cards, I think that they degrade the value and destroy the overall appeal of the card. I would rather have my chance at pulling a sweet redemption unstamped from Upper Deck. Just my thoughts. I am going to be getting a couple boxes of Ice, and a couple SPx, and another reasonably priced box, for my pulling upon my return ;), and for Christmas. As well as my redemption boxes, of course

I've really slowed my card interest with so many NHL Sportspicks coming out in the next few months. Plus, I've really got a lot of the main Hemsky, Smyth, and Hejduk cards I was looking for. If you don't count the couple of super expensive ones, I have almost every Hemsky GU and Auto.

I hate to say it, but I'm actually interested in some Red Sox stuff after the World Series. I have not cared about baseball since the late 80s and early Nineties. But the Sox win was so awesome...

ok i know this isnt hockey related but since there are no card shops here and none of the targets have hockey or walmarts i had to scrape bottom and buy a pack of baseball .

got a pack of absolute memoriabillia from the PAK ATTACK box for 1.50 .

pulled a CARLOS BELTRAN TRIPLE BASE CARD , WITH HUNKS OF 1ST 2ND AND 3RD BASE #5/7 .

I guessing this might be worth a pretty penny , and i only spent a 150 of them to get it so im stoked as hell .

maybe i can find someone to trade it to for some sweet ROY or BRODEUR or FUHR card .
