Got these in the mail today.

The stajan patch is sweet! A major upgrade to my old one. (see second picture)
The thornton jersey is 3 colors! I didn't see the little tiny part that is yellow when I won it on ebay so that was a nice surprise.

Chris from Wiser's here. I read that you have "had it with Wiser's... freaking guys' always trying to pawn off his crap. He's selling UD Legends Classics for $175 each... i'm pretty sure Dan paid a lot less than that...No... i'm just saying that Wiser's is way overpriced, and it's time to find a new shop."
I'm pretty sure that was nothing personal probably just frustration about us making a living selling cards at the suggested retail prices. Please keep in mind we have overhead and keep about 50 kids happy every week playing in our game room, (that we don't charge them to play in). I'm pretty sure that most of the stores left in BC were around the price we set. I can't help it if another store has to sell a box for zero prifit because they need to pay bills. I hope you stay with us but if not I wish you all the best, as if I can't make a fair mark up on my product then I realy dont need your business.


PS the mark up on sport cards is far less then most other retail goods.

That was more of a statement towards your father (???). I was just a little frustrated that he is on most occassions pushy. I realize he's trying to move products, but I don't need his opinions on every product in your store. I just find it annoying. I've never had any problems dealing with you as if I've ever had any questions you've answered them.

As for the prices, I just look to what I can get on ebay. I realize at your store you do have a larger shop, with PLENTY of kids to please and must put on a price on product where you can remain profitable.

BTW... How did the Big One go for you guys? It was my first time to the show, didn't buy much as I didn't find much of what I was looking for. I was there sunday but did not stick around for the Brule signing.

rocco, yes I have singles about 8,000,000 not joking. I have a Roy auto from Franchise on ebay right now. I think it's pretty rare as there has been none listed in the completed section. I'll try to put a list of liles cards together for you. I have a few sets listed on my web site with 1000's more soon to be added.

flesh_gordon, like I said I didn't think it was personal. You know most stores just ignore their customers and I'd rather over do it then to ignore. The Big One show went well Brule didn't draw much attention but I talked to him and he's pretty well grounded. I got a bunch of the cards he signed they are nice and serial numbered to 300. I really want this card but I don't think i'm going to bid on it for 2 reasons.

1) The current price is more or less at what I'm willing to pay
2) The seller is from my own province and wants to charge 15% tax to buyers in his own province.

Refix, I was ecstatic to see the Thornton on ebay, until I got reading. I would love to get the Thornton, but the guys is charging PST and GST after the winning bid amount :( . I always refuse to pay taxes on ebay items. If I wait it out, a Thornton will come up, that will not require taxes.

I've been away from cards for about a year so this is something that's new to me. Do those UD holograms behind the cut sigs show up all the time? Or, only when you take a flash photo of it, for example? Like the ones in the Howe auto that sillshock was going after.
