Very cool for Bozzy he will enjoy

I was curious because I have a Jeff Carter In the Numbers card...game used from the World Juniors. Looks like it has sharpie written on the swatch too..very weird.

If my scanner wasn't on the fritz I would show, ah well maybe tomorrow. I think tomorrow I will go out and buy a box of cards and wallow in the fact that we lost our league championship with 10 secs left today. 10 secs and they scored after we just missed a chance to win it with 15 secs left!!! Heartbreaking.

Thanks Gratzi, I have always been that way about my cards. Even my regular cards are sorted in 4000 card boxes alphabetically with nameplates. I can find any regular cards from a player I have in a couple minutes. I think thats why I sell many single regular cards at the card show, because people jsut have to look for "Jarome Iginla" and see what cards I have him, instead of searching through thousands of cards to find any Iginla's.

now, to make it hockey related, who is picking up stuff from the UD ultimate coming out next month? from what ive heard packs will be about $150 but no cards numbered lower than 100 or something like that...sounds like itll be amazing but thats a lot of money for 3 cards...

The Upper Deck Ultimate, is a cheap rip-off of BAP Ultimate if you ask me. There will be cards numbered all the way down to 1/1, and many numbered out of less than 100. But reg. jersey cards are nubmered out of 250. Last year's BAP Ultimate had no Memorabilia card numbered higher than 50!!! Some of the cards are nice, and I will probably pick up a couple, but I don't suspect UD to rebound with this product next year.

Completely different products.

BAP is now ITG (technically always has been)
ITG made the beckett encased Ultimate cards.

Upper Deck Ultimate is basically Upper Deck Premier with a different name.

ITG is making an Ultimate product, that will likely be in the cases.

its so funny how much this has become a part of my daily routine posting on here and reading all of what everyone has gotten . it made me realize how much i love hockey and how wonderful a thing it is to share something so simple and amazing as collectiing cards with comoplete strangers . this is a great thing we have here and hope that everyone realizes that . be good to each other and make some great karma for each other along the way .

Still hoping I can get a box of SPA when it comes out but I might have to wait til later on in the summer.

I plan on getting a box or 2 when SPA first comes out. I advise anyone interested in getting any to try and get one early. As this will be alot like last year's SPA and rise after original shipments are sold out. SPA could be had for aound $70-80 U.S. last year when they came out, now they are up to $100-120. I am able to get the boxes for around $95-100 + tax, so around $115 CND or so. And with the possiblity of "Octo-graph" cards, which I don't think will book for less then $1000 per card at least.

I think it may state on the pack Chris that there might be less base cards if it contains a memoribilia card. Check the back of the wrapper!

The Patches are the same size as the decoy... the glass cards are actually smaller

Oh CRAP! I was going to my brother's tonight and bid on both cards I wanted that were ending tonight. The Priority Signatures was at like 24 bucks so I big upto 30 which was my max, so I bid 2 bucks more and wasnt winning so I bid another two bucks and was leading at 34 bucks. Thought, eh I won't be winning that woth an hour left so I went and bid on the another card I wanted. It was at like 16 and I bid upto 26 and then again upto 28 and was winning. I left hopng that I'd win ONE of the cards but I ended up winning BOTH! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Glad I got both cards but holy crap I'm gonna be spending like 70 bucks US combined. I have some paypal coming in Monday night from something I'm selling so let's all pray for me that people start bidding it up. If anyone wants to buy anything off me just let me know. :D

I think I'll be all set money wise for the boxes. It only took me 2 days at work to go from $30 saved for them to $170!!!!! I still got all the UD to sell along with an 00-01 Pros and Prospects Jersey/Auto and the High Glossof Roenick... things are looking good. At the very least I'll be able to take 3 boxes instead of 4, but I'm really gonna push for 4

I'm looking for the 2003-04 Titanium Hobby Parallel cards that are numbered /150. There are the parallels to the base set which is numbered 1-100. Hope that helps.
