So I have a couple deals I'm in the middle of. SPA Iginla/Regehr SOTT and a Regehr Single SOTT for $31 delivered. And then a couple Iginla jersey cards that were on my tradepage (BV of $27) for a 03-04 Luxury Suite Iginla Stick/Jersey card (BV $30) Stick is Silver and swatch for the jersey is red/yellow. Yes, I'm friendly with Igor, but I don't buy much from him, as he usually wants more than book for his stuff. I deal mostly with Dave who is on the far wall directly parallel to Igor! He has a ton of packs/boxes for sale. I will check for Kovy stuff for you! I doubt those guys would have anything like that yet. Igor wasn't there last week, which is a first. That show is small now, maybe 8-10 guys.

But I decided I will only go after 2 or 3 cards from SP Authentic - Kovalchuk/Lehtonen SOTT, Kovalchuk/Healtey/Lehtonen SOTT, and Kovalchuk Rookie Review auto/patch. I'm not a completist, and even though some of these quads and five auto stuff seems really cool looking, I rather just get the cards I really want. Besides, that 5 auto card seems to be an ODD auto combination! ;)

The best teams too have are Washington, Pittsburgh and Calgary as they will probably have Ovechkin, Malkin and Phaneuf play with them to start the season since these cards tend to be cards of the first rookie to debut with the team.

The best teams too have are Washington, Pittsburgh and Calgary as they will probably have Ovechkin, Malkin and Phaneuf play with them to start the season since these cards tend to be cards of the first rookie to debut with the team.

nhl 2005 xbox "sim" hockey season contest

I am going to host this contest, as soon as all teams have been taken we will begin the draft. Thats right I said draft. You will be able to draft 4 players. The rest of the draft will be dont at random by the console system.
This is going to be a very indepth contest and will require trades, but no line managment.

The contest will be for the entire season with trades up to the march trade deadline. But to lessen the load on myself there will only be 1 trade allowed every 2 weeks. The 7th and 21st of each month. One day only. You can make a trade of upto 3 players at a time all going to one team.

To enter the contest you must submit a game used jersey card, auto or rookie card with a value of at least $10. These will then be handed out as prizes which will soon be decieded by myself.
Somthing like first team to get 25 wins, first player to get 50 points, first goalie to get 5 shut outs and so on. Of course the obvious most points stanley cup ect.

The draft will take some time, so we will do it over a 4 day period. Which will be held in the sports card island chat room. Date is yet undecided.
If you can not make it to the chat room for the draft you may pm me your top 5 choices and when your turn comes around you will get who ever is left on your list. If none are left, you will get a random player of semi star status.

The draft order will be drwan from a hat. All team names thrown in first pick going first and so on.

I think i covered most of the details but am sure there are questions so feel free to ask away. I have never done somthing like this before so if you have suggestions feel free to leave them

Hi Guys! I was all ready to share what I got in my box SP Authentic 05 hockey. What I thought was to be the most crappy box I ever opened:( looks to be better thatI originally thought:D . All I got in my box was one future watch insert of Garret Stroshein? ( When it says he was brought to play 3 games for his size where not talking pure goal scorer!) There was only one Sign of the times of Martin Brodeur and that was it ( No redemption cards, no second auto?). Then I noticed today that another Brodeur SOTT on Ebay sold for $ 160 and said it was short printed. So I have listed it on eBay as I have already have several Brodeurs autos. But I'm willing stop the auction for a trade. I'm still looking for the following of my all time wish list:

McFarlanes: Boston Bourque, Kariya repaint ( From my wish list, I know i would have to add in a trade)

well sinden my man as far as i have been told the players arent privy to alot of this info as the owners are keeping this **** on the hush , but the doc i know kinda said it without saying it .
his words " dont quote me on this but..... IF the cba doesnt get settled that the major sponsors are more then likely going to back out and the league might fold "

granted this isnt definite either way but this is what he told me . unoffically of course .

he has already moved on actually to the falcons as thier head doc cause the future of the nhl is so unstable right now .

I HOPE TO ( GOD , KRISHNA , MOHAMED , WHOEVER ) that hes wrong and you will be able to cash those puppies in.

Beleive me when i say i miss hockey as much if not more then the rest of you guys and i hope like hell that this **** gets fixed soon and we have hockey again .

I have been totally lost this past season to be honest . I mean there isnt much in this world that i hold as dear as hockey ( ok well star wars :) ) but thats a whole other thing all together and not having hockey feels like i lost a loved one to be honest .

The rush i get from going to games is like nothing else ever and i crave and need it soooooooo bad .

Lets keep em crossed fellas and hope for the best , i hope he was wrong and that there will be hockey soon .

i just hope they leave the goalie gear alone .

the league won't be folding anytime soon.
Especially with the current offer on the table to sell the entire league as a whole.

the sponsors bit I believe is very true, and even heard mid june, but progress may have moved that deadline back.

i mean come on man , some of the things they come up with are pretty lame .
and their designs are just getting to be too much alike . it wouldnt hurt them to use some foil or holographic highlights sometimes hahahaha .

i doubt the owners will sell ,
they are making way too much money ( as confirmed by FORBES who showed in a report they were almost completely lying about the money they lost ) to let the cash cow go away .
they have too much too lose if they sell , they just wanna jip the players as much as they can to keep as much money in their pockets as possible .

either way things need to be fixed as far as the money thing goes , both sides are at fault and hockey needs to be played SOON !
