You will get big bucks for the Barilko card! His 1991 Pro-Set rookie card guides for $16, and they get $7-$10 US for them on the bay! We all know how crappy, and over produced Pro Set was! :D I think I have about 50 of those in a box somewhere! :eek: You'll be surprised at what that card will get you! ;)

I got that Turco UD Ice frozen fabrics in the mail today. What a nice card..great color and the detail on his mask is so clear. I might try to get more of those UD Ice cards.

Yes, the Rocket Richard Archive's a 1/1. The other Richard is #9/25, his jersey number. The Bourque and Lemieux are both golds /10. Not bad gettin' a 1/1 and three autos /10 in the box. Keepin' the Flyers, and tradin' the others for other Ultimate Flyers, especially Lindbergh and Hextall.

Tonight I went to the local auction with my dad, we were looking for a decent/cheap computer desk for my room and just to check the place out. They sold off some nightstands and TV's and some dressers along with alot of other stuff (junk). After a while they started auctioning off some coins, and paper money. I wasn't really interested but I saw a couple of pages of hockey cards so I decided to get up and take a look. 3 pages of 91-92 Upper Deck, yay! There were also some hockey player coins from the 80's. A Jets player, Jim Peplinski, and 2 Oilers, Gretzky, and someone else. Nothing too special, I'd already bought the Gretzky off e-bay a couple years ago so I passed on them all. As I was going back to my seat I glanced in the case and saw about 6 more cards all in toploaders and 1 was even slabbed and graded. I looked closer.. They were.

-Yzerman Rookie (slabbed and Graded a 9) - Sticker $200.00
-Gretzky Rookie - Sticker "rookie"
-Lemiuex Rookie - Sticker $300.00
-Roy Rookie - No Sticker
-Brett Hull Rookie - No Sticker
-Bobby Orr Rookie - Sticker $3000.00:eek:

I went back to my seat all excited and told my pops if they went low enough I was getting myself some sweet cards tonight!!! After the auctioned off the rest of the coins, and a couple bedframes:rolleyes: the guy took the cards out of the case and put them on the table. People weren't freaking out and rushing up to look at them like they were with the coins, I was pretty much the only interested party. I wasn't born yesterday (thank god) and started inspecting the cards to see if they were legit. Here's my evaluation.

-Yzerman RC, Slabbed and Graded? Yes. Real RC? Noooo! It was a slabbed and graded 92-93 OPC reprint and said anniversary edition right on the bottom.
-Gretzky RC, Flipped over and "REPRINT" stamped on the back
-Roy RC, Flipped over and "REPRINT" stamped on the back too
-Lemiuex RC, and Hull RC, nothing noticable, but after looking at the first 3 not much of a chance its real. Still figured I'd buy them for kicks if they went cheap enough, you never know.
-Bobby Orr RC, when flipped over it was quite noticably printed on newer card stock. Most likely a reprint pulled from Topps Heritage or regular OPC/Topps.
-There was also a Topps C55 Vezina that was printed on plain paper and glued to blank cardstock. I know this because the owner of the local card shop had it there a couple weeks ago. I don't remember where he got it from (e-bay) but it was very easy to tell that it was printed from a crappy .jpg image. It even said "replica" on it.

After I sat down the vultures moved in and the bidding began. They started at $100.00 apeice, first choice. The first bid was at $50 and they were all gone by the time the bidding got down to $40. I couldn't believe it. I saw one guy leave with 4 of them. He even looked happy.

I'm just glad I know my cards, and wasn't born a fool.

I just received an email from a member of Beckett that said The Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Brooks Orpik cards do not exist.

The problem with the Stanley Cup jerseys are there are 4 very short printed cards 2- /20 (Kariya & Stevens) 2- /10 (Brodeur & Giggy) I have seen 2 Kariyas on the Bay sell for upwards of $100
