Got 2 of them, might work out a deal for the UD Saviors patch. It is my second most wanted Turco (since I got the Complete Package). I doubt I will but, if dad is up for it it will be mine. That card was on ebay a little over a month ago and went for 225$:eek: :(

From what I have seen, it all depends on the player. A few of the better players cards have sold for very cheap while others sold for a good 2-3 times what they usually do (Turco and Luongo). So I would say there is a good chance that 1.25-1.5 times the original BV is a good call.

I had a friend who owned a card shop when I lived in Nova Scotia and he pulled one. We made a huge trade involving that Luongo. I traded him a CuJo pad card from BAP, and a Roger Maris Bat card, and he gave me a load of stuff (Luongo NYI Jersey/auto like you have, Jerry Rice Ball/Jersey, Luongo 98-99 Prospects jersey, and some other football game used that I was into at the time). I gave up on football a short while after that.

Vintage has been the biggest pain in the butt to finish. I'm not a big fan of the set, but I just want to put it to rest. I'd even settle just to finish the regular cards and screw the SP checklist cards.

I got sucked into those old BAP cards last year and bought a ton of them. Pulled a few really great autos too. I'm close enough to finish it too.

Do you have an extra Sakic from Vintage? I think that's one of the cards I need...

do you guys ever get a short print card of a player that you hate and trash the thing rather then try and sell it or trade it cause you just cant stand the player ?


like almost everytime i open a box i get friggin roman czechmanek and i will almost inevitably tear it up.

for example one day i opened some UD MASK COLLECTION and got two czechmanek jerseys ( after having just said i bet i get a whole box of czechmanek cards ) and i tore them both up and threw them away.

I've never torn up a card, before, but I have thrown some away, although long after they've collected dust. Usually base cards I pull will be put in 4000 count boxes, for selling at local card shows, but if they collect dust for too long, then I'm not going to waste room, so I toss them. Probably never been a huge card I've thrown away though. But I never, I repeat never will RIP up a memorabilia/auto card, regardless of the player, you jsut never know who may want/need it.

last year, I had an 00-01 Private Stock patch with some damage to it. Can't remember who it was, but it was in the common price range. I ripped out the swatch and there was indeed a number behind it... if I still have the card and happen to find it, I'll scan it for you.

yeah when i tore it apart apparently pacific would have adhesive paper that they would stick the jersey too and on the paper the players name was printed alone with a number about every square inch or so . im not sure how ud does it cause they didnt have anything on the backs of theirs when i tore them up .
