Scored this 1996-97 Donruss Elite Mario auto at a local card store for $30 US($40 Canadian actually) I thought that was a steal cosidering what his sig goes for. Anyways, I'm happy about it! ;) Sorry about the crappy scan! It wouldn't pick up the auto very good against the chrome background, and my batteries are dead in the digital camera! :mad: Card looks awesome, and this picture doesn't do it justice!

I spent most of last few days in Hospital with my hand infection.
It spread throught my entire left arm and then started to swell.
Spent a nice 30 HRs in the ER over Mon and Tues w/o a bed or anywhere to sleep.

Depends what the card is of course. Most people, and alot of selling I do, I go 1/3 BV for sale. But once again, it REALLY depends on the card

all three are on the way to the graders shortly . the nash is out of 99 too , one of the best cards i ever pulled out of a 30 dollar box too , well worth it . actually was a really good box but a lemieux and hull jersey out of the box also along with the nash .

the antero i got off the bay , i think i put 15 down on it , but after watching that kid play i was really impressed and picked that single up shortly after it was released .

Got a nice mail haul today!! 27 Russian cards of Ovechkin, Malkin and 4 other Russians.

The highlight is the 02/03 Blue & White Fans card of Ovechkin /32. To my knowledge only 1 has ever been offered on the bay, so it's safe to say perhaps only 2 or 3 are outside of Russia and unlike a lot Russian cards it's on good quality card with a razor sharp image. :D

The Malkin looks very much like a bogus card. The card would have to be licensed by the NHL in order to use any Pens images. If you look at Signature Rookies or the 95-96 BAP cards, all NHL copyrighted logos are blanked out and there's no team name.

The bottom left and centre cards are definitely legit. The company logo looks extremely familiar to me, btu the top centre Malkin looks extremely suspicious

No they're all legit. They're team issued by Omsk Avangard, all out of /30. The image quality isn't very good, but they're all like that. Russian cards can be a bit hit or miss quality wise, but they're starting to get better. Depends who makes them really.

Yeah Chris...I was SOOOO hopin' Pouliot would fall jsut 1 more spot for my Habs. Would have loved to have him. The Fleury Auto Emblem and Auto Number are both out of 10, and I think a pair of really nice looking cards.

The Premier Dual Jersey Gretzky/Kariya /50 is one that I'd been waiting for over a year to come onto eBay, it's certainly the rarest of the dual jerseys even though they all have the same production run. I'd like to bet there's a few of these in the un-opened packs still available.

The Ryan Malone is my only true 1/1 card so it's pretty special.

The Ovechkin/Crosby Dual Glove /20 what can you say? The 2 biggest prospects in the NHL.

I disagree with both of you, the best players in the league are Jarome and Luongo.

First off I said "possibly", and personally I think it is almost impossible to determine who is the best player in the game right now

I would take Thornton over Naslund and Forsberg anyday. I like all 3, but I would rather have a gritty, tough scorer than a talented scorer with little to know grit, although they may play with some, no one messes with Thornton knowing he'll give jsut as much back to them. Thornton proved in 02/03 he can score with the best of em'.

In my opinion, I think these are the Top 5 players in the leauge right now (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER):

- Joe Thornton
- Markus Naslund
- Peter Forsberg
- Jarome Iginla
- Rick Nash

just got some nice cards on ebay now I am selling to make some Hockey $
btw to all you Avs fans
should i go to Frozen Fury in Vegas when they play my Kings?
I hvaent been since the 2nd year they had it, or save the $ for 2-3 boxes of cards

i meant dont get the tickets or save the money for 2-3 boxes , just buy singles instead of going to the frozen fury .

i mean come on how good of a game is it gonna be really ( the avs are gonna mop them up ;D ) and your more likely to gamble away more money then you can imagine once you get tanked in vegas and then youll really be in a bad place hahah . almost as bad as if your get a box full of czechmanek jerseys autos :D

OH!!!!!! If its Hannu I'm keeping it!!! I like Toivonen... saw him play several times this year for the Providence Bruins. He can be a solid back-up behind Raycroft... maybe even a starter if he gets a little experience in the NHL
