I am wearing my Blake jersey to college tommorow eventhough its going to be 80 F in Buffalo here (crazy where is the cold hockey weather). The harder decsion will be which of the 15 games on Center Ice I'll watch besides the avs.

This is so not fair. I have Replicups from so many different outlets. SLU/gretz, Brodeur NHL 9, NHL Mini 2 Yzerman, Actionmatic Bruins, Washington LaBatt, BAP Mem Modano,

the only replicups I was really missing were the old Coleco one that came wiht some tabletops, the ones given to players...

Man I hope we get replica Calder Cups for the AHL season openers. that would rock.

The "exclusive" is not official. Anyone I've contacted hasn't said anything yet.

yeah everyone
ill be getting mine saturday as the thrashers take on the caps .

and they are also giving away jerseys from the first period signed by the players that they wore that period .

man i hope i win something htat would be so awesome . geta lehtonen signed gamer holy crap that would be sweet and its the smooth azzz third jersey too !

the first period jerseys aren't being given away, they're being auctioned off on nhl.com starting early november.. each home opener home jersey will have a Katrina patch on it, and then for the 2nd period, they'll wear their normal jerseys..

Also, are you going to the game on Nov. 25th? if so, I need some photos taken ;)

and as far as giving the jerseys away , the times dispatch here in atlanta said in an article that they are signing and giving away the first period jerseys to the fans at the home opener .

that may not be the thing everywhere around the hockey world but apparently they are doing it here or so the paper said.

what game in the 25th ? i will try and go as im gonna try and go to all the games but yeah if you need me too ill see what i can do if i can make it .

It's not fake, there has been other UD Ultimate patch cards of Roy with the rest of the auto on it on ebay, plus theres also a Pacific one on with a piece with an auto on it. There was also Gretzky UD Ultimate patches with autos on them

It seems like quite a few of those Ultimate patches were put on upside down. Upper Deck should have given better attention to a product as expensive as that. What really makes me curious though are those cards where some of the patch is missing or the patch doesn't match the jersey, like that Brodeur that had a white number patch on a white jersey. Is Upper Deck pulling a fast one or do they just not care? Will things get worse now that they have no competition?

Not sure about the jerseys and inserts (don't have the checklist in front of me). I do know that the Notable Numbers is an autograph set though. Each card is serial numbered to that player's jersey #

The Auto is upside down and backwards... look at the little Upper Deck logos in the hologram and you can tell.. Having numerous Palffy autos it is very obvious to me.

The s in Thomas is different. There is also a loop in the t in Steen in one, and the on auto looks to be signed straight up and down, where as the other has a tilt/slant to the right! I watch CSI religiously. ;)

Autos look the same to me. Forensics experts places more emphasis on key parts of the signature and making sure those are consistent, as opposed to concentrating on areas that are more prone to inconsistencies. I worked at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto in the forgeries department... I think that is better training than watching CSI ;)

Yeah I think you are screwed. I ended up taking him to paypal collections or whatever you want to call it and I automatically won cause he never replied to his side of it. But the POS didn't have any money in his account so I got nothing back. I sent him 2 emails and PM, politely asking him to fix my situation but I got nothing in return. He hasn't logged on the board since the 7th but I have a hard time thinking he hasn't checked either email account since then. I wish I knew his ebay name to see if he's been using that but no luck on my search. I was waiting to see if he logs on the board again before I throw the Bad Trader thread on the B/S/T but I'll probly just do it over the weekend.

I don't have many singles Espin, but I have busted half a dozen packs. Are you doing the inserts too? Also, the Buck or Two has retail packs. Still buying Hemsky?
