Umm, well I would say either Rookie Update or Black Diamond, just because of the odds, that you can pull something good, are better.

I really like SP Authentic, however with only 2 auto's per box, and really a low cahnce for rookies, it a hit and miss thing. I got lucky with my pulls and got a Michalek Auto RC, and a SOTT Brodeur.

In the Black Diamond you get 2 jerseys, 1 QUAD RC, and usually 2-3 other rookies. Rookie Update is jsut a solid all around set, so you can't go wrong there either

Always remember UD ICE is the way to go. Just ask these boardmembers, the pulls we have made out of those boxes are amazing!!! Such as:

I don't think I'll buy another box of Ice, I have a complete base set. I pulled a Aebischer Frozen Fabric, Rob Blake Clear Cut Winner and that Ice Authentics Dipietro in my box. SPx has by far been my best two boxes of the year. The first I got Vermette jersey/auto #'d/50, MA Fleury jersey/auto #'d/500 as my big pulls and in the second my big pull was a Patrick Roy Winning Materials Dual Jersey #'d/99

I am, I just ordered a box on ebay - sold some other cards on beckett so it ended up costing me around $3 total for the box. My friend also bought a box, so I am going to wait for those two to come in and find out what i will need. The golds will most likely be needed if you are willing to part with them.

I doubt they are too difficult to make, but i have never seen plans or another personally, and seeing how shes an ex, wont be able to see that one again.

Well I ended up going with two boxes of Beehive last night. I was going to go a bit higher end up it was pretty cheap per box so I figured what the heck. Here's how they ended up:

Box 1:
Jumbo Cards- Marty Turco jersey 2 color, Marc Andre Fleury variation
Rookies- Joffrey Lupul, Tomas Plekanec, Nathan Smith(traded right away to Espin for the Zinovjev he pulled)

Are you a Jets collector?
Ive got an 02-03 Foundations Hawerchuk Signs of Greatness which shows him as a Jet.
You can usually pick them up on ebay for under $10 DLVD (US).
The Selanne patch is a great card...one of my favorites from that set.

I actually have one of those. It's made from a Koho goalie stick and has a autographed 8x10 of Patrick Roy in it. I won it off of eBay years ago. I told the guy it's going to be for a Roy so that's why it's Koho. I thought it was a pretty cool and original idea plus it really adds to the picture. I really like that he actually got parts of the logo and the entire "Koho" on the frame as well :D

I'm always wrestling with my addiction to Sportspicks and NHL cards and lately I've been really focusing on my cards. I'm trying to finish a few sets right now, and if you guys can help I'd really appreciate it! Turco_35 is usually my "dealer" and that darn razkor always drags me back into card collecting. have AHL season ticket prices gone up in the Northeast and Canada? I was going to buy a Rampage half season this year. Last year we were able to walk up and buy $9 seats about 18 rows above the goal and now they are $15.85 and $14.50 for season tickets. I was going to get a 20 game package but now I'm not sure what to get.

Some of my favorite cards are those BAP Memorabilia draft redemption cards. I have 2 of them, both are from the 2002 draft in Toronto. One I bought for 10$ at a local card shop and the other I paid 37$US for on ebay. I looked all over for one and one appeared a week befor my birthday of the 25th pick, those of you who are WHL fans know who Cam Ward is. That's who it will be redeemed for. You'll see what this has to do with my next post.

*SIGH* Well boys... my attempt to snag a big Kovalchuk card has failed. I was after the 04 BAP Ultimate Rocket Richard Trophy Quad (Richard, Kovalchuk, Nash and Iginla). The previous one ended on ebay for around $165 US.... there were two on Ebay that ended earlier today... one for $177 and $215 or so... both times I got outbid by the same guy! I think the guy who won both is trying to go after all 10 copies... :( Hopefully I'll have better luck getting the next one that pops up on Ebay
