Superstars... it was $88 + tax for a box for today only (4 box limit) .. hence the party i think.

i paid 4.99 a pack (shh don't tell the G/F). but i have my box coming so i didn't want to buy too much.

Oh yea, got another story from last night. In addition to my UD2 box, I got a pack of SP Game Used, and my friend's friend bought 3 packs. I open my pack and get a Patrice Bergeron jersey (Hooray! :rolleyes: ) and a Jeff Hogan RC. The other guy opens his first pack and gets a Dion Phaneuf Rookie Exclusives auto #44/100 :eek: :cool: . But I did end up getting this off my buddy for nothing :D :

My buddy just picked up a box at Faceoff for 92 plus tax. Sueprstars had them for 88 yesterday but no sure what they are today. He got all 6 of the same rookies in both his boxes (Carter, Jokinen, Jurcina, Lapierre SIglet and Craig), plus he boguht some loose packs and got two of them same yesterday. So I bought 6 packs when he got his box today and pulled 2 of the same rookies as his 6 (Carter and Lapierre)

I sent my buddy a text message this morning saying I wouldn't be hanging out with him today cause I had to list all my Iginla's on ebay and that it was a long story. Figured it was still morning and he might not realize what day it was. He asked what it was and I said it was too long a story to text him. He asked if he could call and ask me about it and I said not right now. Then I texted him back 5 minutes later saying April Fools. Shouldn't have second guessed the price. It's a bargain right now....Will the prices drop? I hope so.

I know what you mean about suspense. I was down to my last pack of my second box and realized I only had pulled 5 rookies so far. Problem was my mom walked by and grabbed the pack and told me I had to wait:mad: I wasn't too happy but she thought it was hilarious, some peoples sense of humor are a bit scued though.

The patience has paid off. Just picked up the last SPX nystrom I needed to have a red, white, yellow, 2-colour and now the 3-colour..............and the best part it was only $26.25. The last one I was bidding on sold for $61.00. Now on to the next project.....:D

Save your money and buy the singles you want. I bought all of the big name YG's for under $200dlvd. Not as exciting, but it saved me from opening a lot of unwanted cards.

i can say that *overall* with the other 16 or so packs i got, im happy with my Rookie threads (vs. other random memb that would suck)... YGs are pretty ok, and there were lots of Victory RCs...

it's definately a fun product to open - assuming you're not banking your life on getting an ovechkin :D

i'll put up a trade list in case anyone has team collections for the YGs i don't really need (would swap for other equally useless YGs :D).

good god - i have NEVER gotten anything good from this one card store. i opened like half the box and got 2 young guns, and no memb. :(

Thanks... I've been watching that one too. I keeping hoping 2 or 3 more of it will show up like the Significant Numbers ones for SP Game Used (got mine for $10). I have a bad feeling this one is going to go for more than it's actually worth. :(

My buddy pulled a Franzen /39 and it sold for $57.00 :eek: . Who is Franzen :D . I really would like the Steen. I am hoping to get one for under $20.00

It's really crazy what some people will pay... I never thought I'd pay over $30 for a card, but then I never thought I'd have a huge competition for Jeff Woywitka cards. :(
