Mailday today......

The Good- Got my Iginla Signature Scrapbooks auto from Beehive today that I won on a BIN for $15. Also got my Auto'ed Iginla 8x10.

The Bad- The mother******s at Canada Post bent my 8x10 to put it in the mailbox. It was in an 8x10 toploader so the damage isn't that bad, I can still display it and might not be noticeable. But Jesus Christ, it was stamped like 3 or 4 times "DO NOT BEND" and the green thing for customs says 8x10 picture. :mad:

I also bought a blaster box of Series 2 so hopefully I pull something good to cheer me up. be back in a bit with the results.

The seller says it was shipped on Apr 3 and as of today I have not received the card. Now the seller doese respond to my emails however all he does is refer to his feedback and how wonderful it is. This is the third thing off ebay I have not received, the other 2 have been over 2 months.

So first off am I screwed out of the money.

second how long do I wait?

third do I leave negative feedback for not receiving the goods...

hmmm... I know that Canada Post seems to screw up from Edmonton to Calgary WAY too often, but this seems like a long time.

I'm far too patient for my own good, so I'd probably wait 4 weeks then act.

Last year I bought a Fleury Ultimat Memorabilia auto for 70$ in January... it arrived in June but the seller was very good about it. The seller sent me 2 other Fleury jersey's and a Turco. It's all about how the seller treats you. If they are a dink about it give them the feedback they deserve. If they are good about it give them positive. If you paid by paypal, file a claim

Beckett had their own versions of the Rookie Showcase cards as well, inserted in certain monthly issues of the mag.

The "difference" between the two is the UD.com cards have a gold background, the Beckett's are pewter. UD.com's were limited to 1,000 copies each.

Same goes for the Hockey Showcase cards.

Check your NHL SP. each one should have a different number. a good way to make sure someone doesn't say a figure was damaged in shipping, and trying to get a refund on a fig you didn't ship

How'd everyone do at the GP show today?

I made off pretty well. Big moves were:

Traded Young Guns 2 CL for a Selanne SPGU 01-02 Jersey, an 05-06 Trilogy Tkachuk JSY and an 00-01 Titanium Numminen JSY

Traded probably 2-300 commons for an 83-84 Post 4 mini card panel and a few needs for my all-card set. With purchases I was able to knock off 15 total cards, bringing my overall number up around the 780 mark (without show cards).

5 bucks for an Alex Auld UD2 JSY (brings the Moose up to 5, next target is Brathwaite!)
4 bucks for a Khabby Trilogy JSY (12 Jets now!)
20 cents for a Lubomir Visnovsky 00-01 Titanium Draft RC (760/1000)
20 cents for a 99-00 Gold Reserve Brad Stuart (card that wasn't supposed to be!)

I broke a box of H&P series 2 and did pretty well. I got Hot Prospects cards of Malkin, Ovechkin, Crosby, Phaneuf, and Vanek. Through 22 of 24 packs I had only got one auto, goalie Vitaly Kolesnik. So, I'm thinking this was a crappy box but in pack 23 I got a auto of Tyler Kennedy. Then, in the last pack I received this......

Patrick Roy/Maxime Oullet dual jersey. I knew it was something good because when I opened the pack, the cards were not lying flat due to the HUGE seam on Roy's swatch that is bursting out of the card.

I found a crap load at my wal mart. They were all in one of the bins above the shelves. I was able to reach one and went to scan it on the price checker and it wasn't coming up. I took it to the cashier in the electronics and got them to scan it. It came up as $4.99:eek: I bought it for that price. Never pulled an auto but the set is pretty decent I hope they do one for Ovechkin.
