1. The U boys did not START the brawl
2. More FIU players (8) were ejected than UM players (5)
3. Ejected players will receive a ONE game suspension (we have Duke next week so we should be fine).
One game suspension for the guys that were "stomping" others and "bashing" players with their helmets would be a joke. It trully looks as if Coker has lost complete control of the team. If he had control some of those guys would no longer be attending Miami.

Had a AWESOME time at the game and was in Section 32 Row 11:D .Two of TO's TD were right in front of us:eek: .Got to meet up with T-New for a while and gave him his JOMO.He's exact words were "Thats Gangsta and loved the detail on the shoes Joe;) !!!!He also said he was going to have to hide it from his mom or she would take it like everything else he gets.Will post pics tomorrow hopefully but Im beat right now and Cedric was out by the time we got to the car.He had a great time and Cedric tells me I want to come to all the games Dad:eek: :D .Was probably the only Cowboys Fan upset when they anouced N.O. beat Philly:mad: :mad: (They still SUCK YIMMY:p :p )

Well Rui and Mel, the Giants destroyed my Falcons today, not too happy about that one. :( Jacobs and Barber ran wild on the Falcons D. At least Dunn and Hall had good days. Hopefully that adds to Dunns chances of getting a fig!:)

Almost forgot, I am loving the Super Bowl choice this year. They got back to the old way of giving deserving vets these and Taylor is the perfect choice! I also love how they brought the production up to 5000, which I think will be just right. 6000 in Jax was just a bit much, and 3000 last year was way too few.
I'll be going to the NFL Experience the Thursday and Saturday before the SB and I'll help as many Big Boys as I can, it'll just depend on the limits. I was able to help out 6 boardies with Jax sets but if the 1 per day hold up I'll only be able to get 1 extra.
So eho is going? I know Mel is, but anybody else making the trek?:)

On the Miami game, 1 game suspensions for several players on both sides were too light. There are at least 4 guys who deserve more than that.:spawnskul
Merriweather - The stomping he did was worse than Marcus Vick did to Dumervil, he repeatedly stomped and I believe stomped on a 2nd guy as well, plus he had a gun incident and I believe he was one of the ones involved in the LSU fracas at the Peach Bowl. This guy should be gone from the team, especially since Vick was and the 2 are very comparable.
Helmet swinging guy - should be suspended for the rest of the season and maybe kicked off depending on if he has had any incidents in the past
Body slam guy - should get 3-4 game suspension, not as bad as the above 2 but pretty bad
FIU stomping guy - should be done for the season
Overall it was a disgrace by both teams but even more so by Miami, not because their part in the fight was any greater, but because this is the 3rd incident they have had in the last 2 years (Lousiville and LSU last year), and because of the way they acted afterwards. I understand that sometimes tempers get lost in the heat of the moment, but to then get in a big circle and jump up and down with helmets held aloft is horrible. They should be on the sideline with heads hanging because they feel bad about what they did, not get together and celebrate it!!!:mad:
Also this shows that Coker has lost all control of this team and he needs to be fired. They should just bring in Saban from across town and he will sort them out (he's not busy doing anything with the Phins anyway;) ). And one more thing to add, the commentator for Miami needs to be fired as well after his comments basically saying he wanted to join the fight on the field.
I know FSU has had some unsavory characters, and they have had guys get suspended and kicked out of school before, and I completely supported that, so please don't think I am biased just because it is Miami. I would feel the same way about any school.

Mel....kool thanks....but there is a BIG difference...we only have ONE ACC loss....our other was to a Big East Opponent....so all we have to do is Win out.
Brian.....Coker NEVER had control. I won't argue that. But I will argue the Merriweather/Vick comparison. Vick had a HISTORY of problems including a 1 year suspension from the team prior to the stomp (including a traffic violation or something like that just a month prior). The gun issue with Merriweather was PERFECTLY LEGAL. The cops ruled he used the gun in self-defense (after his roomate/teamate had been shot). As nothing was illegal he should not have it held against him. Now as far as the stomping....it was a FIGHT....in a fight when there is a group and someone falls down you stomp them. Vick was NOT in a FIGHT. The whole thing was dispicable....but I think that one game is sufficient for ALL except for the helmet user.

You might hear some horror stories on Canada's medical system and in all fairness there probably are some but you know how the media builds this up.
But I will tell you I wouldn't have it no other way and haven't had one iota of a problem and neither has any of my family or friends..

4 mile ambulance drive = 500
oxygen mask = 80
ekg exam = 90x2 =180
iv = 125
blood tested = 100
room(4 hours) = 800
That was my last hospital visit in 97. I dont know how someone with a "family" and no medical insurance can do it. Its a huge problem here in the states. If you live off our system and dont work, you make out better.

I understand 40 million Americans have no health insurance and I have no idea if that is true or not but if it is that is unbelievable..
Some are still trying to get a two tier medical system in Canada:( :(
Any government of the day that trys to screw around with our social system here and doesn't matter what it is..will be defeated

i have a little cold bill!! my nose was so stuffed that i couldn't breathe that good. soooo, get up and sit on the computer for a while i guess!!!:)

yep jeff, i know exactly what you're talkin about!! i pay 75.00 a week for health insurance for me and my family!! it seems high, but you have to have it!! my youngest daughter was born with a rare liver disease and without ins. i don't know what would have happened!!

For sure you have to have health insurance in the U.S. or you could bankrupt yourself for the rest of your life.:(

Yeah Pay works the evening shift with occasional OT from Midnite on till the wee hours... has his lil guy during the day... I remember the days me and lil guns used to chill like that... :D :D

yep, my oldest is 9 and the little monster in 2!! my youngest spent about her first 2 months in riley hosp. in indy!! she was born with biliary atresia (liver disease) they had to actually hook her small intestine to her liver to drain bile! we go down to indy about every 6 months for bloodwork and a checkup and she's doing really good right now! but, at some point in her life, she will probably need a transplant. but, by looking at her you couldn't tell anything was wrong!! just a normal 2 year old!!!

Yea our health system is jacked. Seriously there is no way any of that stuff costs 1/3 as much as they charge, but since insurance pays for it they keep upping the price. But insurance doesn't care cause they just raise their prices to the big corporations who then turn the hike over to us workers. What we pay is bad enough, but if you've ever tried to get get insurance when your company doesn't offer any it is horrible.
When I was a contractor for a while I had to buy my own and it was like $500 a month for very poor coverage.

nice look at you , hope you are feeling better, thanks bout asking bout the knee, started to walk fully but can't walk to long cuz then it starts to hurt. Im getting better though. I have about 16 gauranteed days off work still and probably attach 5 more days to that maybe. By the way the toys r us in the city has some 12 inch bradys' i think 1 elway and aikman , i think all are 13.99 or 15.99 let me know if you want me to pick any up
