The Spawn/Image Universe

A while ago someone posted a thread about who else existed in the Spawn Universe and I think we concluded that Spawn was the only hero in his world. But after looking around, Savage Dragon does appear in one of the ealier Spawn issues (Spawn 1-5?) and I think the Batman/Spawn crossovers count. Also I recall when I was like 12, that there was a Spawn/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. I think. So there are other heros in Spawns world, we just dont really see em all the time. Your thoughts, lol.

The savage Dragon has appered a few times in spawn After issue 50 at some point thee running around hell together and I nthink it was the savage dragon/TMNT that did a cross over

Yeah, Shadow Hawk, Savage Dragon, the WildC.A.T.S. , YoungBlood all had ties with Spawn in the early years of Image.....

I'm pretty sure all the early (core) Image guys were supposed to exist in the same universe

Tremor was even a member of one of Liefeld's Blood something teams for a while.

kinda miss the within-image-crossovers. the violator vs. badrock stuff was kinda cool, and was nice to see chapel have his own wacky adventures with youngblood and on his own. at least savage dragon and spawn should somehow cross paths again, it would make spawn seem less epic and biblical and more like an average "superhero" type dude for a brief moment (not for too long though, he cant not continue to kill hell-born demons and cracked out heaven chicks).

Image doesn't really have all that many strong characters anymore...Topcow does, and technically Topcow is just a branch of Image, so maybe there should be a Witchblade or Darkness/Spawn crossover or something...if Ascension wasn't so horrible story wise it'd be cool to see Spawn duke it out with Lucien

I think if Spawn were to have another cross-over with an Image character, I would much prefer to see it in the main books because most likely the other character would have something to do with the story rather than have one-shots are are just pointless when it ends.

For example, Magdelena from time to time appears in Witchblade and it has to do with the plot and whats going on, even if its for just 3 pages, she's acknowledging Sara what's going on, etc. This would be something I'd rather see in Spawn, rather than a pointless one-shot.
