Normally, the game used sticks are $50, but with the popularity of the Hawks growing, they raised some of the sticks to $75. Sharp and Seabrook were $75, the rest were $50. They still had 2 Seabrooks left....the Keith and Burish sticks were also lilsted at $75.

If I can't trade the Lang stick, I may exchange it at the store for a Lalime or Kevyn Adams.

No Havlats unfortunately....I'd like one for myself!

Didn't see any of this year's game used jerseys. Not sure if they pick up right away or if they ever even had them. I know they are saving stuff for the locker room sale and auction at the inaugural Blackhawks Convention. I did see some game used jerseys, but no name players from a few years back. Didn't even check on the prices...I will next time I'm in there.

Nah, not really looking for a Souray. I was just commenting on how all these sticks are suppose to be from the last home games of the teams, and Souray was on the IR at that time. Although I think we kind of proved last year that quite a few of them wrent from the last home game of the teams.

well the charity auction for that Red Sox jersey that was burried says you can claim on taxes - anything over $175 - whatever that means, so I would think this fits into that category.

it's such a fuzzy area, you need some sort of tax accountant expert to work out what's claimable and what's not.. I wish I could claim some stuff, I got the alumni gelinas stick last year, before that I got the Katrina Relief Panthers jersey and also the jersey I bought from the Hurricanes benefits the Kids and Community Foundation of theirs, but I couldn't claim anything

to be honest (and don't get me wrong, I love the stick), I don't think it ever saw the ice.. the bottom of the blade isn't worn away at all, something that happens with nearly any puckhandling, even in warmup..

I just came back from HawkQuarters and looks like the gamers had flown off the shelves. Not a big selection left. Was hoping to come back for Dave Bolland, Kevyn Adams and Patrick lalime, but they were bought. The Calder and Aucoin sticks I was eyeing were wood and pretty much new with no tape so I passed. Didn't want to wast the cab ride, so I bought a fee minor players to add to my Blackhawk collection.

I saw an Cam Barker Easton Synergy with a lot of use, to the point where his name was partially off. A lot black "sticky stuff" all around the shaft. Was $50, tried to get for $25 but they wouldn't budge so I passed.

Well that is how the game used market works. Prices start out super high and slowly go down, if they dont sell.

You could wait for them to be put up on the NHL auctions but they all start at 100. I got the Olli Jokinen stick last year for like 135 or something like that.

Hey, to any NBA collectors, I am working on a trade and need some advice. I have a Vancouver Grizzlies Shareef Abdur Rahim gamer being offered to me, but the Grizzlies didnt sell them with any kind of COA or LOA. The guy I am getting it from is a reputable fella and I trust him.

Question is, any idea of what the value would be? I am dealing a jersey worth $500 for it, so what you guys think?

I was down in Florida earlier this year and their team store was selling game-used sticks - I had my hands on a Bouwmeester and a Horton for about 100$ each (and there was a Jokinen as well but some other guy bought it) Maybe give them a call direct and see if you can get one shipped?

Buffalo sticks ended tonight. Seems that team always has lots of action on their game used stuff. The Miller stick didn't go as high as I thought it would. Had his crazy markings on it. Ended at $320, I wonder if that big Miller collector on this board housed that one.

I find it kind of funny that Stastny uses the same stick that my Hinote stick is from when he played in Hersey. Its also interesting that Smyth uses a composite stick with a wooden blade. I would love to get the Stastny or Foppa, but I know both will be out of my range.

Pretty reputable board member on gameworn.net (tools of the trade forum) sold me the stick, but it doesn't come with a LOA. He had two more Linden sticks from back in the day where he was sqabbling with Cooper. No autos on either and the cooper logo was spray painted out but still nice looking sticks. I'm pretty sure both were only $50 each plus shipping.

I find many sticks of lesser known players or non stars go for a relatively cheap price on the site.

How many items have you guys purchased from this site? Are the sellers reputable?

I've bought two sticks, the Linden auto and a Gretzky TPM2020. I also got an authentic Linden jersey (sz54) home white 94 season with cup patch for my brother inlaw's grad for under a $100. All the sellers I've used were very reputable and had their own web sites with loads of other stuff. I'm sure there are fakes out there as you can really only trust a handful of dealers as being 100% authentic. Many items are from fans who have collected them from the rink and after practises.

Cecil aka kovalchukfan17 is on there quite a bit too.

**Also bought 10 new Itech replacement visors for $10 each. Loads of good deals on pro gloves, helmets and other equipment too. Probably my top 5 most favorite site on the internet.

Has anyone got a goal or game puck from the Flyers-MeiGray program. What does the paper work look like. I did email MeiGray and they said it's not as comphensive as the last game used/goal puck program from a couple years ago. But they do include matching COA and holograms. Vegas must have gotten one, does he post on this site anymore?

I would think a Hinote stick will be up when the Blues get posted. Did he play in the final home game? Not that it really matters, even the game ready sticks show nice use and most likley used in other games. What kind of stick has he used this year?

They were probably used at some point, maybe practice, but I don't think you can guarantee they were used in the final home game.

I think we kind of figured that out last year when they had random sticks that there was no way were used in the last game since they werent even the same brand of sticks they were using at the end of the season.

Yeah, really no telling when sticks were used. Unless you get lucky and photo match it. It is nice they have good pictures in the auctions and you can tell what kind of use the sticks have. People can get some nice deals on the game ready sticks sometimes, most of them show really good use, just that they didn't play in the last home game. Stick may have been used in games before that though.

Man some AVS sold for big money, Theo 610, Sakic 1620, Hejduk 800, Forsberg 1290. A couple went for a lot less than I thought Stastny 275 and Smyth 260 seem like nice deals.

I want one too, but Iggy sticks are pretty hard to come by, in the store or online. In all the games I've been to (not all that many), I've seen one Iginla stick for sale.. Full tape etc for $350 I think it was... can't wait to see what he and Kipper's sticks go for on the nhl auctions.. surprisingly, a Phaneuf stick just went for $152 on ebay a few days ago.. I wish I'd remembered to check it in the last minutes, I would have bid it up, just on the off chance I could get another for under $200

I know I've overspent on some of my Forsberg items but $1290 for his stick....wow. It looks like the same two people battled for each of the sticks listed and won all of the Avs sticks except for maybe 4-5 of them. Looks like Avsfan got lucky they didn't start bidding against him.

I threw my bid in right before 5 minutes because I know if it happens with less than 5 minutes it extends the auction another 5 minutes. If I got out bid I was going to let it go. I put in my bid and was done with it. It just happened that no one else bid.

Got my first game used item in the mail today: a Jiri Hudler stick I purchased from a fellow boardie (thanks again!!!). I had to take Goo Gone to the entire shaft though as the bubble wrap stuck to the stick-em on the shaft. No biggie. Only took me about 45 minutes to clean it up.

My guess is it goes for $600. Anyone get one of thoses past All Star jerseys from last nights auctions. A few went a lot cheaper than I thought.
Another thing I noticed on the MeiGray site is all these goal and game used pucks from Flyers games this year. Even have an Ovechkin playoff goal puck. I know certified goal pucks are real rare. I bet that one doesn't last too long. I would think more teams would do this.

Got a UPS email, Gelinas set 3 is on it's way! WOO.. Should have some decent wear, the Preds wore their final set starting Jan 3 at home and Dec 31 for the roads. 15 games in that jersey, and he was injured Feb21.

Being a Season Ticket holder they drive me absolutely insane. They'll advertise one year and then forget the next year. They do a bunch of good things and then they do a bunch of awful things.

I think you will find that auctions like that tend to go higher than you can find it on places like gameworn.net.

actually i got lucky and picked one of footer's warrior sticks used early in the 06-07 season so the search for that is over

kinda miffed that i missed the caps sticks up on nhl auctions cuz i kinda wanted to add a cooke or erskine {as long as it was a red warrior} to my collection

hoping to make it back for the caps equipment sale in july so i can add one or both to my collection but we will see

Not a huge amount of wear on it. A couple of stick marks and board burns on the sleeves. Although there is a place where it looks like the jersey melted on the shoulder. The fabric on the edge jerseys do really feel strange.

I'm not at home right now but if I remember correctly, there are a few snags and a couple of markings.
