I've recently finished watching season two on dvd...only seen parts of season 3 unfortanly I didn't get to see the season finaly today. ...but that's not what I'm interseted in..what I'm interested in is in season 1 there was a guy in it who donates the hospital a ton of money....tries to run it like his own little buissness...basicaly he's House's arch nemises......he the ball buster....but he's not in season two at all....I don't remember the ending to season one...did they just not bring him back for the next season or was there a episode in season one that i missed or don't remember?

There's actually an episode where they kind of sweep this under the rug. I can't remember which season it is in though. If you look up House or Chi McBride(the actor that played House's arch nemesis) on www.IMDB.com, you should be able to see which episodes he was in and what season they are in.

In one of the last episodes of the season the hospital was given a choice. They either keep House or keep the rich guys funding. Wilson voted to keep House. The next vote was to keep Wilson...Wilson ended up getting fired so that he would no longer have a vote on the whole House situation. So they ran the vote to fire House again but this time Cuddy stepped up and said if he's just going to be a dictater and fire all of the good doctors who don't agree with him the hospital would be saving fewer lives even with his huge contributions. She was then asked to leave the room as they were going to vote on firing her also.

Apparently the doctors finally grew a pair and stood up to him behind closed doors and they got to keep House as a doctor in return for all the money he donated. Thats why throughout the show Cuddy will on occassion refer to the fact that House lost the hospital millions of dollars.

You probably didn't miss the episode just alot of what happened with him is implied since the actual voting/deliberation happened behind closed doors.
