This Ultimate stuff is going to be $175 a pack my dealer pal told me today! :eek: Each pack only contains a jersey card, a base card, and an auto! Base set is 200 cards, but there are only 49 of each player! That is freakin nuts! Who's gonna be able to complete that???

Went to Ryerson on Saturday for a tour... not bad actually

Ryerson is a great school - terrific campus (once it will be completed) and your right down town on the good side of it - unlike UofT ...

Friday for me - Bowling (hadn't bowled in like 3 or 4 years - lots of fun)
Saturday - saw the longest yard - very funny !!!
Sunday - I did the Nike 10K run ... Man am I sore !!!

yeah hes a toy board guy i talked to...he makes nice customs...

im having a f (_) c k ing hard as hell time stripping this dragon's paint down...i'm getting high from the acetone and my hands hurt....

1.5 hours so far and im not done:(

i stripped the paint off the dragon...started painting it's clear coat a bit (some white and light green)...when i thought "hey this looks good the way it is"...plus im tired of sniffing acetone....:(

the results of 2.5 hours of my life i will never get back...

is the water clan one the only one that you can do it to? or can you do it to all of them?

only the water clan and maybe the kumodo...you can tell looking at the plastic if a figure if its "stealthable"...some of the plastic is clear and its hollow...like the sea creature from the monsters series...

i wanted to paint it clear white...but im tired of staring at this thing...i dunno how those hard core customizer guys do it:confused:

what happens if you just soak it? if you just submerged it for an hour or something...would it come off easier?

it costs about 7-8 bucks depending where you buy it for 455ml of acetone...that isnt even enough to soak the body after you rip the parts off

It's easy....just offer stuff at cost to other family members.....what extras you have in chase variants you find in retail, offer them up here for cost. However, I've been thinking this over on one thing.....I think people have to start pulling their weight in offering stuff....as we don't want people that are only benefitting from this, and not be giving. So far, luckily that hasn't come up yet and everyone has been helpful. We need more people helping as once I'm gone, that's one more guy that won't be looking so hopefully we can get some more good people on board.

Bottom line is, if we find that you're a good guy that helps other folks without the intention of profit all the time, you're set. However, we do have a right in vetoing someone if we feel that person won't be good for the group.

I saw Wil today at the Snail...man he is going through some rough stuff on the boards...i really hope he works out those problems and comes back soon...

i really know why people have stopped trading non-locally on the boards...

on a different note the snail got the following just in today: fairy tales, new 12 inch spiderman/venom and NECA cult classics (crow, jason, gremlins dood, american psycho)

I was at silversnail on Tuesday and they didnt have much of what I was looking for (mainly a chase Larry Bird) so I went to 3rd quadrant, and the guy behind the counter had just opened the one box of NBA legends he had; and I was the first one there!
I asked for the Bird, he then called another store, to check prices... and finds out the person at the other store wants it, but says to them that I'm in the store and saw it first. the guy at 3rd Quadrant then look up prices on eBay and suggests that it's going to cost upwards of $45-50.. and I just laughed and walked away, knowing he was going to give it to the other guy; a guy who he wouldnt have called right then and there had I not walked in... BOO!

the crow looks kinda like the mcfarlane one...i got both side by side...its funny how mcfarlane came out with the crow figure in 1999 and 6 years later NECA makes one that is about the same quality...not much better....

Well guys! If I get kicked off the board it was nice knowing all of you! ;) I finally got the nerve up to expose falconsfan1 to his grail group! For those of you that don't know the dumb-arse story, I won a Pro Bowl Portis fig in a prize draw for OP participants in falconsfan1's Op for PKHale's WS Bonds back in January! Well after 4 months of excuses, and lies that he was gonna send it, I finally told his group, and told him to shove his fig up his arse! :eek: He never intended to send it anyways, by the looks of it! As far as the figure goes, I could really care less, but that really isn't the point! This jackarse is heading up a grail group, and I was worried he was gonna rip them off! I feel much better now! Should I expose this lier to the board, or just leave it at that? Here's my handy work! :o

I saw an Angus Young fig at a Walmart here in Barrie a couple months ago, but it was a little dinged up, filthy dirty, and had food, and/or a drink stain all over it! :eek: It must of fell behind a shelf, and was just recently found, and put out! Those have been out for quite a while haven't they??? I should of bought the Matallica singles too when there was tons at Walmart! Same for the Hanson Bros! Those were on the shelf for an eternity! Talk at you later Steve! I'm going to lay down for a while!

Must have just missed you up there, but I have to say, he was a really nice guy!

If you want a baseball, I have a Rawlings for you, it is one of the ones that says China on it, but it's still a baseball signed by him. I pick them up at Canadian Tire for $3, they look just like the $10 ones from SportChek. The $30 ones at Sportcheck are funny, with the plastic holder to display the ball.
If it was Halladay or Wells, then I would go for the 'authentic' baseball, but I just use the Rawlings ones from China for the other guys.
If you want the baseball, it's yours.

Also, no luck on the hockey stick yet, I asked the assistant of the director that has them, she said they were for clients... but since we have another tournament next week, the ones from last year will be 'out of date' and I can probably get you one.

We got there a little late, considering how fast the line went, he was probably there and then gone by the time I showed up.

I am going to try for Canada Day weekend, we always go to our friends cottage with the people I went to university with... just not sure if we would be back in town by that time.

The month of June is all weddings for me too, very little time to do anything... I am thinking that I will have to start golfing during work hours to be sure I actually get some rounds in this summer. Just need to justify going with customers, since I am not a 'sleazy sales guy' like most of the other people in our department. (best part is that we cal lthem that to their faces!)
