As some of you guys might know, Ron (Canuck1) is moving to Vancouver and leaving in a few weeks. This isn't a Op or anything but I was thinking for the guys who've dealt with him before, maybe we can get him a small goodbye gift? It doesn't have to be big stuff, maybe a bunch of small stuff? I know he likes anything Vancouver and Nascar but maybe we can get some interesting Toronto stuff as a memento for his few years that he's been living here.

Does anyone have an extra SGA for sale? I'd like to hook him up with one. He though someone was gunna hook him up but if fell through. And also, any ideas for those who want to chip in? Once again....doesn't have to be pricey. And once again, just for the folks that know Ron and want to do a little something for him.

On a side note....Ron should have his final Ronmart soon. Once I know, you'll know.

Rich, Chris, Mike, Wil, Carmine and me. If there is anyone else that wants to chip in, LMK. I still don't know what else we can get him so any suggestions would be good. We need to get this done soon because he'll be gone in about 2 weeks.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend getting the jersey like that, I doubt he would ever wear it if it had our writing all over it. The thought is great, the practicality is lost.
A jersey with JohnnyBower (since he wore #1) or someone similar might be a better idea and then put RonMart over the name when it is presented to him.

they have so much stuff now!!! they have 2 full shelves of transformers now where the star wars stuff used to be...i managed to grab a decepticharge...you guys dont know what the hell that is, but its a rare alternator transformer s2000 that isnt going to be released due to licensing issues with Honda. also got some other swag...man everytime i go in there i cant stop but spend:mad:

hey rich i'm hanging onto family guy right now, but the family guy boxset is going to be released in the fall around november. you get the entire family with different heads for about $35-40...i'd wait until then to buy the 5 family members. or you could get the 12 inch talking stewie available at silver snail for $29.99 + tax.

As for the AFA Snowman, I'd do about 3 Snowy's worth. Not sure how many Snowy's you have sitting around but it definitely helps when you get rid of them and use that money to buy the one you want. I sold my entire NHL 1-9 collection to buy a 3rd jersey Roy :o

as for the AFA brady...remember the last one sold for around $750US on the boards to dragooner i think...im not 100% sure but i vaguely remember....i could ask him for ya.

also its just a stupid grade...i've seen transformers collectors send IDENTICAL figures to get graded from AFA and they gave them totally different subgrades and overall grades...i think its a big bunch of comic geeks sitting in a room eatting cheesy poofs grading these things if you asked me man...but i know how much it means to you and getting that final grail is always a tough one:o ...im still looking for my AFA 90 Pepsi Optimus Prime:( :( :( ...maybe i'll have enough loot to buy it when schools all done:o

I just got a PM from benbbad1 regarding the AFA Snowman, and my girlfriend calls to tell me she got rear-ended and spun out on the 401!!!:eek: So far, she seems to be okay but the car is a write-off. Her mom said that she was being taken to Credit Valley (Hospital) in Missassauga.

I'm going at $50 US for a player and $60 US for a goalie and you supply the figure and cover shipping. I'm willing to trade for work done which in most cases I'm sure will work out better for the person wanting the custom, well that is if they got the chase figure at $16. Trades would be considered towards the above value. 12 inch is you get the figure and $80 to $100 roughly, $80 player, $100 goalie. If my prices are way off I will re evaluate them.
If you want a custom with parts from other figure and molding we can talk. Right now I'm flexable and I'm only interested in doing a limited amount of work. It is easier when I have a person who wants a few of the same player, research is all done at once and I can focus on just that individual alone. Right now like I mentioned I'm working on Roys. Everything will start to get decaled in September as I'm still setting up for that.
I've slowed down on how quickly I do them and focus more on the detail, bank on a month or more for each one right now. The more time I have the better it will turn out.
If any of you guys are interested PM what you might like and we can go from there, sorry guys only hockey right now.
