Mike, in November I will start taking orders. I have 3 12 inch Roys I have to make and a rookie 6 inch, all which I will start then. If you want one pm me. I'll need the figure. I keep most of the first ones I do as say "proto types" that way I can see my mistake. Plus I love them on my ROY(LL). LOL

Barrie is one of the biggest growth cities in Canada right now! Tired of the drive every day! I'll be happy if I can get something similiar to what we have now at the same price range! I may be working in Durham in the very near future, and it's too far to drive back, and forth!

As tomorrow is the deadline for our hockey pool.....we need to discuss soon when and how we want to do the draft. I don't think everyone will be available for the same time for the online draft, so we might have to resort to autodraft. However, would like to know when would be a good time if hypothetically we can pull this off. Stupid Troy and his weirdarse work schedule. hehehe

This is problem....we can't do both live draft and also have people pre-rank their players for autodraft. It's either or, isn't it? Unless we do this all offline and I'll input the teams myself manually here.

Yahoo has their own rankings but you can check there. You can draft on his behalf if he gives you his password because live draft needs everyone online to do it. Actually, I'll just activitate the league now and we'll see how Yahoo will place everyone.

Okay! We usually get together at the office, and draft there while having a couple cold ones! One of the guys prints out all the stats from the previous year for everyone, and we pick off that! Never used Yahoo for hockey, just Nascar thus far! We always post our picks on officepools.com! It's free there, I think!

ok, i may sound like a tard, or is that a bronf, but i haven't been in a hockey pool before. when you get 1 point for +/-, does that mean if the player finishes the game as a +3 you get 3 points? likewise, if he finishes -3, do you get negative points? same for pim and sv. do you get 0.5 for each pim/sv? you'd get 20 points for a 40 save game? just want to be sure. also, do the bn players not collect points? how often can you rotate the players from the bench to the roster?

I changed the +/- to .5 points only. But you're correct on the rest. So, if your players gets -3 that night, he'll get -1.5 points. Same with the others.

Bench players do not collect any points. You can change the roster daily up until 2 hours before game time.


ok, i may sound like a tard, or is that a bronf, but i haven't been in a hockey pool before. when you get 1 point for +/-, does that mean if the player finishes the game as a +3 you get 3 points? likewise, if he finishes -3, do you get negative points? same for pim and sv. do you get 0.5 for each pim/sv? you'd get 20 points for a 40 save game? just want to be sure. also, do the bn players not collect points? how often can you rotate the players from the bench to the roster?

Yep! Clark Wilm, and Aki Berg are going 10th, and 11th! ;) :p Honestly, I hardly ever pick Leaf players in pools, because I get pissed of with them when I have them on my roster, and they don't produce! This way, I can enjoy the games without predjudice! I may take one, or 2 this year if they are available later in the draft!

thanks, I'm currently working on one of Sami Jo Small from the Womans National team. Just waiting to get some feedback from her on design. I have some friends at the OWHL and a good friend that knows alot of the National team players. Hopefully I can get something hooked up with either or both, you never know.

Yeah, I noticed. I was trying to look for Richards and Perry and they weren't on. Perhaps once the season starts and they are confirmed to be on the team after preseason cuts, they will appear in the free agency pool. I'm sure Crosby will be drafted quite early in the draft.

I've never been in a pool where PIM's were a plus! LOL!!! You could make it 1 point for every minute of penalties, or take it out altogether! It doesn't matter to me! I probably won't be picking a goon!

its cool man any way i just want everyone to be aware that penalty minutes and saves are worth more than goals and assists really so they can make thier draft stategy knowing all the facts example Luongo last year made 2303 saves thats equal to scoring 1150 points in the season?im not trying to make this difficult bronf just fair if everyone knows this:)

Yes I think so! What about -1 for a loss, +1 for a OT, or shootout loss? Can something like that be done?

For those who are not here.....we skip them. If they are not here the whole time, everyone else that is here gets to pick first. After the draft is done, whoever is left I will give them the players that remainding according to rank.

I think this is fair and fair enough notice as it's not our fault they have forgotten and didn't think ahead of time to get someone to draft for them.

Agreed! Am I still picking for Jon, seeing he made those arrangements in advance? Also, I am having problems loading Spawn at the moment! Not sure if it's Spawn, or Rogers, so I'm here, but don't know if I can get on, and stay! May be just an overload of people using at the moment! It's not my PC! I'm hooked up that way.
