anybody know what the deal with the hockey pool is? it didn't give out any points last night (everybody's still at 0). the yellow box above the league standings says "• If you wish to continue to receive live stats as you did before Sunday, Oct 23, you must purchase the StatTracker add-on." does this mean that if we don't purchase this then the standings don't get updated?

still, I think Paul stepped over the line. He knew what he was getting himself into with his post and he knew he was gunna get flack for it. I've honestly lost respect for him and it makes himself look like a jealous and envious guy. I have Lance's back anyday over Paul's.

As for the figs, the prices are ok for the ones you mentioned...nothing overly spectacular though. You know what, I've putted serious thought into it. Once this hockey pool (season) is done. I think that's it. I"m done with this hobby. I totally foresee 2006 as the year and tons of boardies will leave.

Need to start spending more time with the family! My wife is very ill. They found two black spots on her brain in a recent CT scan, so we have to wait to see. :( She is taking these freakin horse tranquilizers for her fibromal....????? whatever that is called, and is always sleepy, or in a daze. Not good! :( Some of the decisions TMP has made lately with various things have left me wondering! How can a NH fig possibly be good for the hobby! Both Zellers in Newmarket had already got them, and I missed the goodies! None in Barrie yet. None at the Superstore in Newmarket, but they have a ton of Legends hockey, and football. :eek: Zellers also got a ton of NHL 9 again. Raycrofts, and Sundins even. No chase, though!

I don't doubt that he had given away a lot of stuff, but I think because many people have not reciprocated that to him, he feels jaded. Then he sees guys like Lance where people have returned the favour multiple times.

I think it was Paul's jealousy that made him snap. Calling Lance "Almighty" was a giveaway at that. Not to mention, calling himself "Santa Sremmaz" was kinda another look-at-me post too.

I was thinking about going to check out a few Zellers to see if there are any more NFL11 but I'm thinking now....why bother...it's not like I would be able to find a NH Brady for Wil at freakin Zellers.

As for the Ovechkin, if he signed with a black sharpie the top right of the pic isn't too bad. It's a little small for the brighter part but I think it might work depending if Ovie has large sig or not.

Thanks for the offer Bronf! We'll chat next time we meet up! ;) Every once, and a while I snap a bit on here, so just ignore it. It passes by quickly! :o Life can really kik you in da nutz sometimes! :rolleyes: Paul is a great guy, too. He has been a great friend to me, as has Lance. I just don't want to have to choose sides on these squabbles, so I just sit in silence on it. I won't judge someone by one incident. They are both big boys, and I'm sure they can work it out on their own. Although there is nothing wrong with sticking up for your friends, I just hate the way things get divided up whenever there is a disagreement. People just love to gang up on someone when they get the chance! It's pathetic really! :rolleyes: I get into trouble enough on my own. I'm staying out of it! LOL!!! Nope, it's not #'d. Still looks cool. I really don't like autographed cards that's on a sticker. All that means to me is the player just auto'd a bunch of stickers and then applied to a card. I think that's crap. I prefer a card that has the auto on without any stickers but yeah, a different coloured box to accentuate the auto would have been cool.
