I have been picking up 80's bikes at flea markets and garage sales for a few months. Not sure what I mean to do with them, but I just remember them and still have a fondness for them.
Had a tricked out univega bmx back in the day. Too "old" for it when I sold it.

That would be Eric Koston's first pro model...I believe from around 92 or 93? Sorry to say but it's a pretty rare deck.

Figures it would be a hard one to get
Do you happen to have a picture?

Actually I have some old Thrashers with the deck pictured in advertisements...But no scanner currently.
I myself am seeking a Jeff Kendall "KISS alive" deck...but its super rare also.

Well at least I have some info to work with now. :) Can you please describe the artwork for me?
I remember seeing it at a shop way back (I guess it was 92 or 93 ;)) and ever since then I have wanted it. If I remember correctly the artwork underneath is of Sagat's stage...
In searching I did locate this one of Chun-Li... http://www.sachawheeler.com/photos/group/39913607@N00/photo/67385133/Skateboard_Graphics-Birdhouse_Projects__Jeremy_Klein__Street_Fighter_Series__1994.html
Do you know if there are more in this "Series"?
Thanks again, and best of luck on your hunt. for the Jeff Kendall "KISS alive" deck :D

Sagat's stage is correct. And it has Eric Koston written in street fighter font...The pic I have is tiny from one of those skateboard shop ads in the back of Thrasher that have like 50 decks pictured on a page. I don't think it was a series..Just a one off. Back in the early 90's it was the hip thing to "lift" graphics from other stuff...Most skateboard graphics from that time period were lifted from other properties...Music,Games,Movies etc.

Hey Deansta,
This site has a lot of info on older decks. http://www.artofskateboarding.com/aos_main.asp
I've got a couple friends that collect also. I'll check if they have that Koston board you are looking for.
Here's Koston page: http://www.artofskateboarding.com/Pg/aos_pg_results.asp?cat_search=z&comp_search=z&skate_search=87&artist_search=z&pagesize=15
...and to keep it on-topic, I do collect decks. Got about 8 or 9 in pristine condition up on the wall. Unlike the Natas and Salba decks I had from 6th grade upwards.

Well I guess I was mistaken about it being his first model...I didn't know Koston was on H-Street. Anyway you could check www.skullandbonesskateboards.com also. Lots of collector's there and one might have a pic if you request it.

I collect original Zorlac and Powell Peralta bones brigade boards. I'm starting to grab a few Vision and Simms decks, as well.
I'm up to about 30 perfect untouched decks, and have about 100 shredded decks that I used back in the day.
I'll post up pics after I get moved...
