Jack Sparrow might be the greatest pirate to ever sail the seas, but let's not forget that before him there was...Captain Teague. Jack's dad was played by Keith Richards, the man Depp had based much of the Sparrow characterization upon. An 18" talking version of the pirate patron has just hit stores, and I had to pick it up to put with my original 18" Jack. I really loved that figure, and still consider the head sculpt to be one of the best, if not THE best Jack sculpt so far. Unfortunately, Teague doesn't live up to my high expectations. But since it's International Talk Like A Pirate Day, I thought it was an appropriate time for the review!
