Upset Over No Notice About Cancelled Toy Release!

Back in August of last year I was notified by McFarlane Toys that they were going to release 6 different 3-packs in their NHL Hockey line starting in October or November of 2006 with Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton - and then in April '07 with Ottawa, Vancouver and Calgary. For almost 5 months I have been writing - waiting - looking - writing more and getting sick of waiting only to find that it appears the 2nd series featuring my Ottawa Senators was never completed! I've written Spawn/McFarlane Toys about 18 times and never once a single reply! I cannot even locate anywhere a reason why they were cancelled or delayed!

I'm extremely upset :mad: by this because Ottawa made it further than any team previous in the modern franchise history and I wanted that 3-pack with Alfie, Spezza and Heatley as something to remember what was probably the best season ever as a fan of the Sens - and McFarlane is slipping collectors of Calgary, Vancouver and Ottawa a chunky bone to choke on! :mad:

Can anyone on this forum tell me what happened - or direct me to where on the site there is something mentioning it - including any info about when/if they will issue these? I can't believe I'm the only Senators, Flames or Canucks fan not peeved :mad: over this fiasco!

It was mentioned in an update by Mark Weber I beleive way, way back that the second wave of 3-packs was put on hold because of a situation with Wal-Mart Canada and that if there was any new news it would be communicated to us.

the first wave apparently didn't do all that well and WM soured on the idea. these were exclusive to WMC only if I remember correctly.
