hey ya'll. im plannin on repainting some figures of mine, but this will be my first time doing it. i was wondering if anyone here could suggest a good brand of paint to use for my work. as of now its just small paint fixes here and there on them, so it wont be too complex. My main focus is going to be on the Ronan the Accuser figure from the new Fantastic Four ML wave.
Here is a pic so you know what exactly im talking about.

Basically I'm going to paint the front of his knee joints silver, and do some extra painting on the helmet. So if anyone has some useful suggestions as to what silver paint i should use, it would be a great help.

Testors acrylic Model Masters paints are the only ones I use. They go on smooth and dry rock hard.

Depends if it's on a joint area, how much you play with your toys, and how dusty the shelf gets.

ok, they arent on joint areas, i play and pose with em a decent amount, and my dusting habits tend to vary. so how exactly would i go about using the sealant then so it turns out ok?

Matte sealant = dull
Gloss sealant = shiney
just use it like clear paint, and paint over the painted bit once the new paint has dried. (It's how I've always done it, and never had a problem)
When in doubt, go to the dollar store, grab a cheap piece of crap, and practice.
