i dont know about you guys/ladies but i freaking love that show! and i think someone should make figures for them!
(probably will get alot of negatives from this! LOL)

There are some figs out just recently, I don't like them but they are there to be bought.
I have not seen that much from the show, I still need to get it on DVD, but i freaking loved the movie!

Firefly is one of the best shows of the last 10 years. I'm so pissed it's gone. Serenity was awesome too, but I prefer the show. I've seen the figures that've been made...trust me, nobody wants them. They suck. Jayne looks like he has down-syndrome. Mal looks like a pedophile. I'd love to see McFarlane make some good ones, but it'll never happen sadly.

Yeah Firefly seems to have its good amount of fans here, so much so that I wanna see the show myself now heheh.

It's good and bad at the same time. It's good that you'll watch the show and love it. It's bad that you'll love it and know that it's all over and won't be coming back.

Yeah, the figures werent THAT bad. :) I had Final Battle Mal, a Previews exclusive which looked much much better than the other version of Mal that DST produced. I also had the yellow shirt Jayne which looked more like Adam Baldwin than the version with the cigar in his mouth. I recently sold those two on eBay and didnt expect much for it but I was suprised that they sold for about the same price I paid for them. I figured nobody wanted these cause they were mediocre sculpted, and unambitious posed figures.
But Serenity was a good movie and Firefly was great. I didnt see it when it was aired out of order on Fox. I picked up the DVD boxset and watched the first half one day and the second half of the season the next. I was sad when I finished the last episode cause I know there wouldnt be anymore. Same with the movie. It tanked at the Box Office and there most likely wont be a sequel. I have yet to see the SE DVD that was recently released, Gotta check that out.

I agree with everything said, the show did not deserve the horrendous treatment it got by Fox. They aired the episodes completely out of chronological order, and they were always given the worst possible time slots. How does that make sense? They didn't even air the pilot first!
That being said, with what little tv I watch, it is singularly my favorite television show that ever was and probably ever will be.

I never seen the show when it aired, but I picked up the boxset as an impulse buy at Target for 20bucks.....and man.. I really got hooked. it is sad that the show was never picked up by another station.
I mean, why would fox pick up a sci-fi movie and not SCI-FI the channel?.... makes absolutely no sense to me.

My love for Firefly actually enhanced my Halo 3 experience, since Adam Baldwin and Nathan Fillion do voices for marines in it. Nothing better than getting Nathan on the gun of your warthog and Adam on the passenger side with a rocket launcher- it's like a Firefly reunion!

You really should watch the show if you enjoyed the movie. It is an awsome show. If you don't want to fork out the money for the whole series you should try renting them from netflix or something... Well worth a watch.

i'm pretty sure its 19.99, at least it was when i got it, it's on those racks that have the older dvd's on it, usually the one's you see right away.
