So is this real? Because this is the first I've heard of it. I e-mailed them a few months ago and they said they never were going to make him.

well the figures real, but thats the old one. NECA only has kain at the moment...and the old Kain is better IMO anyway

Yeah, except for the cool sword that looks exactly like the old version I have. But, then again, the new Player Select Kain looks pretty much like the old one, too.

I hadn't heard of them making those figures, either...
I'm sure people take plenty of pre-orders on eBay, never fill them... and people just forget they paid for it at all.

Yea, I'm aware that BBI (I think) made Legacy of Kain figures from the Soul Reaver days. Man, I want a Raziel figure....

Yeah, bbi made them. I have the basic Raziel with the torch and glaive. He's one of the coolest figures I own. The only problem is the scarf. It's a two-piece snap together deal that is molded so you can't move Raziel's head with it on. They should have made a rubbery one.

There's another Raziel figure that depicts him devouring a soul, so the scarf is stretched out. I think there was a fourth Raziel as a living vampire (General Raziel?).

i think the soul eatting one is a statue, and yes there is a Lieutenant Raziel figure, which is pretty darn cool as well

yeah, the scarf was weak. i had a friend print a new one on microfiber cloth, and blackwashed it. raziel is awesome now. :D i'll see if i can post pictures.

the soul-eating one is really just the figure with a new scarf and more accessories. it's still articulated and everything. all the figures in this line were supposed to come with bases and whatnot like this one.

That's not the older BBi figure.

If it is the newer NECA figure, I have to say I'm not impressed so far.

He's hard to come by and VERY expensive when you do.

It's not a statue--just a different verison of the figure. It's boxed and has a base. I recommend it over the regular figure (I have both, and Kain). It's not even that expensive.

I'd like to see some pics of that. How did your friend print one on microfiber? If it's doable, I'd like to try it myself. My poor Raziel can't even get into a wall climbing pose with this solid scarf :(

I did have mine in a cool gliding pose though, with his hands grabbing the rubber membrane.

heheh, he has an industrial printer. he had to make about twelve to make it worth it, but they're long gone, now.
