Vote for the team you hate the most. let's get an idea of who is most hated. The idea for this came when i saw the other thread about "America's (most hated) Team". So vote away. Let's see who everybody hates most.:)

Normally the Falcons (division rivalry). But they are down so New England is the easiest to hate.

Poll needed for this one.
I think the Skins would get a LOT of votes, pretty much entirely because of GOSKINS.

I'm torn on who to vote for. The Ravens used to be easily number one with me but I really think the Pats have gained more of my hatred then the Ravens. At least right now. Hmmm.

This is easy, the Patriots followed by the Cowboys.

I was thinking a tossup between Cowboys, Pats and Steelers but I figured the Cowboys hatred has dwindled over the last few years so i'm not sure. It seems like the Steelers still get a lot of flak but the Pats almost certainly will take the number one spot.

The Patriots will run away with this one easy.
Successful teams always breed hatred (mostly due to envy). See the Cowboys, Yankees, etc. Hatred for the Cowboys has seen a resurgence lately due to their recent success. It was high during the 90's but leveled off when they struggled after Irvin, Aikman, Deion, and Emmitt left. Usually the Raiders would be near the top of this list, but they've been down for the past 5 years. It's always harder to hate a team when they're down.
Honestly, I think Hoosierdaddy created this thread solely to stroke his own hatred of the Pats.

Just like the Yankees, Lakers, and Red Wings.

Oh yeah. I went through all that trouble just to let everybody know how much I hate the Pats. Not because I was curious of who is hated most overall and who is near the top. I mean, it's not like I've had the oppertunity to proclaim my hatred for the Pats in my other posts or anything.
I know it may hurt your feelings but I may end up voting Ravens so................

Same here. (I picked the Eagles because their fans can be very rude, but that's everyone's fans I guess.)

No doubt, Patriots
Their success has come with relatively no effort and questionable calls
Their coach is a knob - try to smile with your sleeveless sweatshirt
They cheat -
They gloat

I was born, raised, and currently live in Boston and I must say I HATE the Patriots with a passion (I'm definitely in the minority here). I hate them as much as I hate the Yankees (being the huge Red Sox fan that I am). Cheeseball uniforms, golden boy Brady, grumpy coach...I just can't stand them

No, you're right. Eagles fans in general take the cake on plain rudness and hatefulness. (try getting into a sports argument with them without getting called every name in the book. Not to mention the Santa Claus incident among a book of other things.) Raiders fans may give them a run. Steelers, Cowboys and Pats fans are usually the most obnoxious though.

Don't you worry.
I can sleep easy at night and really couldn't care less about you, who you hate, or who you love for that matter.
Actually, I should've said that you probably created this topic just to make up for that trainwreck of a thread that you made about Gore winning the Nobel Peace Prize. ;)

Most people realize Gore is a hack. There were only a couple of you who follow him. Besides, it got deleted before I could really see what many people had to say about it. I need to find a forum for talking about politics because it's fun to discuss. Shame that things are so locked down around here that you don't even have the freedom to occasionally discuss a few of those things. But, what ya gonna do?:D

I easily voted for the Dallas Cowboys. I realize alot of people hate the Patriots and they've stayed on top for a long time and will get alot of votes.
But their hatred pales in comparison to the overall hatred of Dallas throughout the years.
In 1989 when I was 10 and the Cowboys were 1-15...I got made fun of by the kids in my school for wearing Dallas Cowboys shirts. That was in the DFW Metroplex.
If you're a Cowboys fan and you lose... people bash and bash away.
If you're a Cowboys fan and you win...people bash and bash away.
If you defend the Cowboys, you're soft skinned and sensitive.
You can't hear a thing about Emmitt Smith's success without someone listing off how many better RB's there were than Emmitt.
If you bring up past SB's...you're living in the past.
The sports media hates the Cowboys almost as much as the fans of other teams do. Skip Bayless' claim to fame was a book claiming Troy Aikman is ***. Now he's a key member of ESPN.
Sports Illustrated is the worst. Dr Z has an open hatred for the Dallas Cowboys. Emmitt Smith breaking Payton's record wasn't even mentioned in the Sports Illustrated Year In Review issue that year.
When the Cowboys beat the Bills last Monday, Cowboys fans came on to celebrate and thread after thread was started to talk smack about the Boys. The Yankess lost and it was overshadowed by the Cowboys win by far.
I've even had people send me pm's on this board saying:
Decent guy ...even for a Cowboys Fan!
The reason people don't laugh at some of the things you say on here is because you're CowboysFan79. You have to realize...people HATE the Cowboys and associate that hatred with your screen name. You could introduce them to a model holding a cheesecake and a six pack of beer and they would still hate you because of the Cowboys.
And by far the worst I've ever gotten:
When I went out of my way to pm an individual who stated they were having a rough time and offered my condolences I got a pm back I could have reported. It was nasty and involved Tom Landry's corpse and some expletives. He wasn't using smiley's either. It was dead serious.
It seriously doesn't bother me either way... and alot of people may think simply stating what has occured is some sob story from me.
There could be nothing further from the truth. It's great to be a Cowboys fan. I think it has alot to say about the legacy of the Cowboys and what they have accomplished.
But it is silly to judge a person based on what sports team they like. Hell, it's silly to judge a person in general based on their beliefs, problems, differences in opinion, etc. Our love of sports should make us realize the similarities and forego the egotism and abrasiveness against people who grew up or learned to enjoy a team they root for. That's a great part of freedom...and should be respected.
Except Eagles and Redskins fans. Freakin bunch of Nazis they are. Should be burned at the stake the whole lot of 'em.

Some comments on CowboysFan79's post:
There are a bunch of better RBs than Emmitt...and he's giving Shannon Sharpe a run for worst analyst.
Skip Bayless would know about Aikman because he can smell his own kind.
And you left out Michael Irvin. That guy's brought a lot of grief your way.

Except Eagles and Redskins fans. Freakin bunch of Nazis they are. Should be burned at the stake the whole lot of 'em.That's the exact way Steelers fans feel. We get the same treatment. The 2 teams that have withstood the hate test of time is the Cowboys and the Steelers. The Pats are just the flavor of the month right now.
When I first started posting on the boards I was insulted HOURLY by Steelers haters. Things have calmed down a bit since then (mainly because many of those guys' teams aren't so great right now) But if the Steelers can pull off another SB win or 2 within the next couple years the hate will return in full force. Hell, I still can't go to a sports message board wearing a Steelers avatar without getting insulted. It's a wonderful thing.

OHHH Hank you hit the nail on the head, Emmitt Smith is an IDIOT, and I'm a Gatrs homer. He makes me ashamed to say he attend Florida everytime he decides to speak. He made a comment that involved a quadruple negative. I've never heard such mockery of the english language.

Well, the NFL hates the Raiders the most:D. But I think NE is the most hated team, most kids my age don't really hate the Cowboys because they don't remember when they were good, and if they do hate them it's because their team is in the division....

Well. . . .Thats who I hate the most at least.
If I have to listen to one more Cowboy fan say "Yeah, Barry was good, but he wasn't Emmitt Smith calibur" I am going to punch someone in the face.
