As the title states I cant access the Spawn Message boards via Windows Vista. I can visit Spawn.com but when I click on "community" it just sits there loading for awhile and nothing happens.

I know the board slows down during the day but this is no matter when I try logging on. I heard trying to use Firefox has been a solution for some people but it wasnt for me.

And this is the only message board I frequent that this happens to. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any help! :)

This should work for any PC/Windows-based machine:

-Shut down.

-Unplug computer.

-Open window.

-Dropkick computer.

-Close window.

why do you have to open a window to dropkick the computer? much less close it after the deed is done?

Same here. Which sucks because it means I can't sneak into the toilet with my laptop and yank one out over Spliffs posts :(
Last time I tried doing that at my desktop the wife caught me.

Ive had that happen. Open a new tab and load up something else. After that is loaded, refresh the spawn.com tab. That should work.

It seems to to that if you leave the tabs open and leave the computer for a while. I have no idea why.

I had it happen once, and I discovered that it was my antivirus program blocking the site, not Vista itself. If you've got Kapersky on your computer, that's the likely culprit.

The same was happening with me. Had something to do with script error. I loaded the upgrade service pack to vista IE browser and it has been working.

i don't use IE anymore...at all...
Firefox only as it's beyond user friendly, at least IMHO...
And I'm running vista from work and having no problems...

Sorry...that doesn't really help... :(
Good luck though...
