When MLB 20 pictures got posted, some of our fellow boardies inmediatly jump to the board stating some great ideas and advice to TMP...."Youkilis would look better in Konerko's pose", "Konerko would look perfect in Mike Sweeney S6 pose", ideas that i think are more than right!!!. Anyway Mark's answer to this was that in Konerko's case the Sweeney pose could not be used, cause Mcfarlane decided not to re-use older poses...Ok could SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY IF THAT DECISION IS ALREADY TAKEN BY MCFARLANE, THEY HAD TO KILL POSADA'S SECOND FIGURE(FIRST IN PINSTRIPES) LIKE THIS:

It's not that they're not using older sculpts. They're not using sculpts from the MLBPA days (The figures without team logos). The Sweeney sculpt was originally used for Gonzalez in series 2(?) but the the sculpt was actually meant for McGwire in the second MLBPA series. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Posada figure was decided on back in '06 because it was originally intended to be released in the second Yankees 3-pack.
