So you compare 2 and start a whole topic to ***** about it?Were you tired? I bet you dont have the first one and have no plans on buying the second one, also, who will display both side by side? Whats next, complaining that he uses plastic on all his toys?

I run into this problem a lot being an artist, there are only so many ways to pose a body type...after a 1000 pieces of Male Body Type A you start to get things that look similar....if not just the same pose altogether.

well yeah, if yu always have the figure standing. They should do a sexy spawn laying on the ground on his belley but his feet up and crossed. :D For real though, think more like Spawn on the throne. Spawn holding a dead wanda would be cool, wait did she die yet? Or even Spawn holding a dead Al Simmons. Or even Richard Simmons who cares, just give us something new.

I guess some people don't mind buying the same fig over and over. They been doing that with the sports figs for a while now. I just think it's funny. ;)

Seriously, stop *****ing about this. Nobody complains about all the JLA figures. They're all technically the same pose.

Some people happen to like the same pose thing. Thats why the Original MOTU line was so great

I guess this is where articulation has its use.
Redeemer 2, Lotus 2, Mandarin 2 and Jackal Assassin all have the exact same leg pose, but no one seems to care about that.
Ninja Spawn 2 and Disciple are both very similarily posed, and they are in the same series. It isn't like this is new.
I just love it because everyone always rags on NECA for doing it. It's about time people started realizing their great and mighty McFarlane is capable of the same evils (ie: pose recycling). As it has been stated, there are only so many poses you can do, hence what I said about articulation.

Simple solution to this type of problem - add articulation.
No worries or problems then...

both those figures look good, id much rather have an awesome lookign sculpt than some Barbie doll like Sideshow makes.
And this complain is totally meritless since that Spawn figure DOES have articulation and can be posed differently or at a different angle [dead on sideways to the left etc], the same as ANY OTHER FIGURE.
Holeman

I really wish TMP would start adding articulation. There's plenty of ways to do it without sacrificing the sculpt. I'm not talking ML levels of freakishness, just something that would allow the fig to be something other than an immobile statue.
Except for the female figs. Statue seems to be the only route to take with those.

All the articulation in the known universe doesnt help a bland, boring figure.

This is hilarious, both the post and the poses. It's really nothing to ***** about, this whole series, with the exclusion of Isis I guess, sucks hard. Un-needed and unimportant to Spawn figs in generally.
This pose just is one more hit to the nail of the coffin of this poor series.

If it was the same character in the same pose I can see the basis of your argument but come on. And if you look at articulated figures like Star Wars or GI Joes how do you usually see them displayed? standing straight with their arms at their sides! These are two different figures from different lines. Is the fact his pose is similar to Spawns really the deciding factor on whether you buy these or not?

I see what you mean but the concept is still the same. But look at the Jackel King, that's an awesome pose also a new one. I mean, if you're gonna put out a new line then try something new for the whole line. I'm not really complaining at all but there could have been a better pose for that figure. I wouild honestly take a GI Joe pose over that one at the moment. I don't know, maybe I'll feel different when I get it.
